poor application process

They say you’re a VIP but they are very unprofessional and like to rush customers off the phone. I feel like I have been treated like a number and not valued.

Buyer Beware!

BUYER BEWARE!!!

First of all, I'd give them zero stars if I could. I've also seen the fact that they go in and try to 'mitigate' the bad reviews by saying a person 'isn't a customer'. Well, let me just say, that I am not the actual customer, it is my husband. Second of all, I don't give my name over the internet, I go by a different name for security purposes. So, while they may come in here and try to say I wasn't a customer, I assure you, my husband and I are real customers.

They were wonderful when they wanted to take our money and sell us a car. The salesperson was great and we got the car and drove away and were very happy. That's where the happy ended, however.

Anything that happens after, they make into the most convoluted path to do anything. They make their customers jump through hoops that should never have to happen. They SAY you can email, text, or call to talk to them. DO NOT believe them!!! You have to call, and then, even if you are authorized on the account from the beginning of the loan, they will say you aren't and make you jump through even more hoops to try to make dealing with them the hardest thing you ever do in your life!!!

BUYER BEWARE! They may seem like a great option because they 'work with' those who have less than stellar credit. DO NOT BELIEVE them. They PREY UPON these people and make money doing it!

When you have Surgury DON'T think MCMC…

When you have Surgury DON'T think MCMC will help you.
All they care about is that get money or they will repo your vehicle.
I was told they would deferred one payment and i had to set up the next payment to come out auto draft and if it didn't clear it would go into repossession the day payment wouldn't clear.
MCMC HAS NO HEART FOR THERE CUSTOMERS AND THIS WILL BE THE LAST VEHICLE I BUY FROM THEM.

Press your luck!

You may luck up and have a positive experience and no maintenance issues and you might not...do you want to take a chance? For me it started out with the little things like being told that all the cars had been inspected, the semi monthly payments was presented as the monthly amount. You will get a free year of satellite radio, all not true. Maybe I’m use to the dealership experience where they, detail your car and fill your gas up before delivering it and they actually care about their ratings and customer experience; not at MCMC!

I have never had to buy from a “buy here pay here lot” and I don’t recommend you to ever purchase from this one. Save your money and go to dealership not a car lot.

I purchased my car in May 2019 on a Saturday, on Sunday the problems and run around began. The car would sometimes start, jerk forward when accelerating, the air bag light comes on and off, the brake clicks when you press it, the key fob isn’t detected therefore the car won’t start. I asked the very first time to return the car! I was told “no give our service department time to fix it”. Well the car has been in the shop 5 times and the issues still occur! The 4th time they kept my car for 7 days. This time I had to have it towed on Monday because it wouldn’t start. I have never received any paperwork for maintenance done. And repeatedly been told they can’t detect any problems after they took it to the dealership. Sounds like an electrical problem to me.

It’s been three months that I’ve been back and forth to the service department that is over 40 miles from my home, not to mentioned the Uber charges I’ve incurred, roughly $70 a day. I’m very disappointed with MCMC, and at this point I’ve lost my confidence in them.

How can they get a 5 star rating. Respect their customers, don’t take advantage of people’s situations. When your customer’s have an issue rather it be financial, maintenance etc, resolve it immediately! Have more conducive maintenance hours, make sure your techs are certified in the cars they service. Even when I sold cars I had to go thru training and get certified. The whole company could benefit from a customer service training! Be transparent.

At this point I personally have given you amble time to fix and resolve my issues and you have not. So where I’m from in California when we can’t get a resolution we take action. And I encourage everyone else to do the same!

Side note: I can’t help but notice must of the complaints have been from women. So this message is to the Salesman, Desk Manager, Service Manager and GM would you for one moment allow your wives to have our same experience or would you demand a resolution? Would you allow your kids to feel unsafe riding in an unreliable car, that stalks, has an airbag light on constantly or braking issues? Would you stand by while your mother, girlfriend or daughter was repeatedly being disrespected? Then why would you allow someone else’s too?

Do not buy unless you want problems

If i could leave 5 Negative stars i would .. Tony was great but it was dealing with every thing else that came after my car had 3 days engine light comes on i had to take a day off work to get that fixed . than after fixing it a week later it pops on again .. Goes off . and comes back on.. Now lets talk about billing .. Has some issues with bank. Save you details but got it fixed. My first two week payment didnt get paid i had to go to my bank to figure out issue.. Needless to say got it done before i could let mcmc know what happened they took my car .. Mind you i have not had the car a month . i am single mom of four i cant afford to miss work . by time i get home both bank and car lot are closed. I did ofter to pay a full month payment to car lot to get my car back no thats not good enough. They want to resell my car . my kids and my stuff is in that car we were in process of putting in storage. I am more than willing to pay my loan but no willing to give up my job to deal with their bs .. I am trying, you wont work with me nor do you care. customer service is rude and let me tell you they need some humanity classes and need to understand that life happens and stuff comes up.. Instead you get treated like you need to check yourself. . i work customer service and i would Never treat a customer. Like i was treated , your paycheck is how well you treat others Customers can make you more money or take it way my mission is tell everyone Beware wanted to be treat like crap, taken for your money made to feel like worthless than purchase here . . i am letting everyone i know my call center family , facebook and anyone else willing to listen that no one needs to buy here . Hope this review helps others please buy somewhere else

If I could leave a negative 5 stars I…

If I could leave a negative 5 stars I would! I’ve had my car a little over a year and it has been in the shop four different times! Engine quit working, wiring problems, oil leak to where it wouldn’t hold for five minutes! I tried to trade it in with a new car dealership but went extremely upside down! They weren’t willing to help me get this car out of my name or even in a safer car for that matter. I’ve paid 22,000 for this car so far and they only care about making more money rather than making sure their customers are in a safe vehicle. I would not recommend buying a car from mcmc for anyone.. your better off buying a car anywhere else or walking.. because that’s what you’ll end up doing in the long run but still paying for the car you get from them!!

Do NOT buy a car from here

Do NOT buy a car from here! Customer service is terrible and I was only 2 payments behind when they took my car. The GM knew my situation and was still not willing to help. This is place is apparently for people with bad credit and help when they can. At least that's what I was told when I bought the car. They also over priced the car and payments were outrageous. The GM texted me the day after they took it asking if I still wanted my vehicle. All the while texting me the day before acting like he was going to work with me with a tow truck already in route. Again do not go here to buy a car! Absolutely awful. Oh and they don't have a place on their facebook page to rate them. Hmm...wonder why that is?! Rant over!

Run the other way!

Run the other way!! These people will hound you if you are one day late. There were a few times that l paid one day late because my pay period fell on a weekend and l would get calls all 4 to 5 times threatening about late fees and being late. They even repossessed my car because they said l had no car insurance. They picked my car up on a Friday and l was able to find people that were higher up via the internet and l had my car back Saturday by 2pm. The sad part about this is that l had insurance all along. The office manager never apologized but l am sure he was in big trouble for this one. The last complaint. I have paid off the car loan and it still shows as an open loan. I am in the process of disputing this with the credit bureau. Terrible place to finance a car through.

This is my 4th car I've purchased with …

This is my 4th car I've purchased with Mike Carlson .I've never had an issue until now ! Their service is not what it use to be and I kind of regret getting a 4th car ! I usually go to the Lancaster ave location in fortworth ,they closed down so I went to Arlington location. Only because my favorite sales person had yo move to that location! But the management in Arlington location was horrible !!! I almost walked out if it wasn't for my sales person I would have!! The manager was rude and talk to me like I had no importance at all like if he was doing me a favor selling me a car! And the the phone reps are rude ! There are a few that are sweet but most are rude ! I'm even scared to call and ask for an extension on my car payments when my paydays fall a few days after car payments are due! All my other cars I payed off and my payment history is good but heaven forbid I go through an uncontrollable tough time and 3 days late the cust service reps give attitude! I've spent almost $60,000 in money at this dealership in all cars I've purchased! It's not the same no more I have no idea what's going on 😑.

Great Customer Service!

Easy and friendly staff. They contacted me right after me visiting the website and scheduled the perfect time for me to come in the next day. I was in and out in less than 2 hours! Will buy again once I get the opportunity. Thank you for working with my not so great credit.
