My experience with Melis was extremely disappointing. I engaged her for a full-service interior design project but ended up having to manage and coordinate most of the work myself. She did not provide a cohesive design package, did not deliver final renderings, and was rarely present on-site. Her lack of planning led to layout and flooring issues that I had to fix at my own cost.
Most concerningly, I purchased wall lights using my own credit card via her trade account. After our working relationship ended, she contacted the supplier and redirected the goods to her home address, refusing to return them. I’ve since requested a refund and reported her to the relevant authorities and SBID.
Earlier in the project, she also pressured me to leave a positive review, which I now realise was premature and misleading.
I would not recommend this designer. My experience involved additional costs, stress, and unprofessional behaviour that no client should have to deal with.
