Order never arrived

Order first time a week ago from the same takeaway through meal2go.com and it was fine and food was great.
Ordered again last night at 11.06pm , received points and online confirmation of order,an hour went by and no order arrived. So spoke to meal2go online but got nowhere - they didn't have a clue. Rang up the takeway myself only to find out nothing was ordered. There is not going to be a second time!

Order never showed up, didn't bother to tell us it had been cancelled.

What a waste of time.

I placed an order online, within one minute I was called by Meals2go to confirm the order. A couple of minutes later I get an email to confirm the order.

Over an hour later, no food! I called them and was told that the order had been cancelled because the takeaway didn't deliver to my postcode (despite saying on the website that it did) and that I had been notified by email and someone tried to call me. Neither of which actually happened. Just poor excuses.

Don't waste your time with this company. There are much better alternatives out there.

Meal 2 go is useless!

We ordered a pizza, they attempted to ring 5 minutes later to tell us it had been dispatched(?!) they didnt get in contact and we rang back 5 minutes later and they said ok. 90 minutes later no pizza! We then rang the pizza shop direct who said meal 2 go cancelled it and didnt bother telling us!! So we rang meals 2 go and spoke to a horrible lady who told us it was our fault and that we never called back - we said we can prove it on the phone bill and she tutted at us! No apology, nothing!! Do not use this company ever! Use just eat instead!!

Good alternative to calling for a takeaway

I have used this website on many an occasion when my fiance and I have decided to have a takeaway. We always use the same place on the website, and have had few problems. The interface can be slightly confusing but once you get the hang of it, it's relatively easy to find what you're looking for. It's easy to select the meal you would like to order (once ou have regsitered with the site) and you can choose whether to pay by card or pay on delivery. There is a charge to pay by card but this is a handy option if you decide you'd like to order out but don't have any cash on you. You can also earn points every time you order which you can then redeem as money off your meal. There is also a handy function on this site in the form of live chat help, which we found invaluable when a part of our order was not delivered, however I have found a few times when ordering that the chat help was offline. Overall, I think this is a brilliant way to order takeaway. In our area there are atleast four businesses from whom you can order oonline which means plenty of choice. Despite a few very minor problems, a really good idea.
