Total garbage
Total garbage. They did not provide the name of the Japanese Signature, estimated time period of the piece, wood or metal type. This was not an appraisal. Do not use this company. It is trash

To much Ai Stuff in the documentation I will definitely not use it again. bull shit
The "appraiser" didn't address many of the points I made in my initial descriptive inquiry. I don't believe a human ever read my message. Specifically the "appraiser" make no mention of the type of paper, age and why there legitimately would not be a watermark. There was nothing mentioned about the age of the paper being correct under UV nor any discussion thereof regarding the IR photos that I took and submitted. There was no mention about that the accuracy of the signature and photos submitted. Additionally, don't understand the comment several comments that had nothing to do with my initial inquiry and documentation.
The appraiser didn't say if there was a research performed on their end as any part of their "appraisal". I'm sad to say the results sent appeared cut and pasted from an AI source with an added endnote. I have in fact found some of the same verbage they used in their "appraisal" online via AI. Don't waste your money.
Submitted an appraisal for an antique sword. It came within 48 hours but it was almost entirely wrong. Seemed like it was AI-generated. This is with me providing links to reputable sources to swords that were a near-identical match to mine, aka I basically already did all the work for them.
EDIT: Upon raising the issue to mearto, they have amended their assessment to match my original guess with some additional details. I can respect that. However, it shouldn't have come to this. YMMV and I'd always recommend looking around on your own and getting 2nd/3rd opinions.
I paid for an appraisal. The company claims a response within 48 hours. Its been over a month and nothing. I tried to use their customer service email and it came back invalid.I will now have to go through my credit card to try and get a refund. Look for a local appraiser. I would say this site is a scam.
