Bought a 4-5kgs sirloin strip
Bought a 4-5kgs sirloin strip. Was a bit sceptical but delivery arrived on time and quality of the meat was outstanding. Joint was 4.5kgs, cut into steaks for a family BBQ, everyone loved.
Happy to recommend and would happily buy from again.

Although my delivery was late due to…
Although my delivery was late due to Dpd delay, I had concern my product would spoil. I contacted seller who inturn reassured me that the packaging was appropriate for such a delay. When I received my package it was as discussed. It was not only within the right temperature the quality is outstanding and the value of the meaty beats retail price by far. I will definitely be ordering from MEATSUPERMARKET in the future. Keep up your high standard advertising and of customer care.

Meat quality was perfect
Meat quality was perfect , shame about dpd not wanting to deliver it when it was supposed to be what led me to have to throw a steak away

Would like a delivery that arrives with meat useable
Id say , there is nothing wrong with the actual meat from what ive seen of it. The downsides are - poorly packaged and frankly awful delivery company used. Having had 2 deliveries literally destoryed by being so late (one disappeared, other box was smashed and sat all day in the van to the LAST delivery which turned frozen meat into nice warm box of bacteria) - id highly recommend a different delivery company that understands Perishable goods aren't last drops of the day let alone in 25-30c heat.
Highly unlikely to buy again from them due to the inept delivery thats wasted literally 2 Saturdays in a row.
I understands that Meat supermarket told the firm that delivery was prior to midday , but still.its a reflection on both companies.
Meat supermarket for using one thats clearly useless
And DPD that are frankly the worse delivery company ive experienced even for other companies that use them

Disappointed
Received order of whole sirloin late and all of isr packs were defrosted. Von opening rest of packing the meat was very warm. On cutting the meat up into steaks it had a very thick layer of fat on which is a very much more than I have had with other sirloin. Very disappointed with the overall service and the quality of the meat ,very disappointed and not and not pleased at all.

Bunch of lies
We bought a bundle for £52.99, not including the delivery charge on the bundle It showed that you got six items then you got four "free sirloin steaks" with it all.
When the items arrived, it had an itemised list and pricing with it too on the pricing list, it showed £52.99 for all the items and the most expensive was the four "free steaks".
We then tried to query this with the company which they then implied that we didn't add on the deal even though the deal is already attached to the bundle.
So me being me, I thought I was the idiot. So I chose to try and pretend to reorder the same items just to see if I was. However, to my surprise not anywhere, is there a code or a tickbox to remove the price for these "free steaks". Even though the deal was originally £66, that still doesn't add up correctly as individually a pack of two steaks costs 11.99 and the price for our steaks was 18.98.
So quite simplely, i'm not the idiot the company is for displaying a deal and promotion that doesn't work.
Aside from this, we ordered it on sunday evening and it was expected to come on wednesday morning. we then got a notification Wednesday morning that it wasn't going to be arriving until thursday and as you can imagine were quite fuming. (By this point it was with dpd) Not as much as we were when we realised the price for the steaks and also the fact that the frozen chicken had completely defrosted and started to go slimy and smelt horrible. Meaning we've had to bin the whole entire kilo of chicken. Even though in the email, they stated that sometimes it can defrost during transit which I understand. But I don't understand how defrosted slimy, disgusting chicken is acceptable because you've company has sent it to a delivery company that has fallen through with their duties and you're not offering anything in return for this other than adding it onto the next order. Which we never intend to order from you ever again, quite simply, I wouldn't order from these guys. And i will be requesting another refund.

their customer service is second to…
their customer service is second to none. They reply to messages promptly and go out of their way to help you with any queries.
Not to mention how delicious their meat is, whether steak, chicken, or sausages or whatever, it all tastes wonderful at great prices too. Their butty bacon has no water in it and it's the same with the chicken breast. They're piri piri chicken is the best I've ever tasted. Love the store

Delivery company mess up with a super fast fix from Meatsupermarket
I ordered a very good deal for sirloin steak. The meat supermarket dispatched it ASAP after the bank holidays. The delivery company had a few issues, and the meat arrived a day late. It arrived with a broken box defrosted ice packs and an internal temp of 19c. I took photos and mailed meat supermarket via their customer service form, they responded very fast via email and asked for the pictures i took. Now, usually with many things now adays you tend to sit back and start putting on your armour for battle...Not in this case in no time at all. I had an email saying a replacement was on the way and to safely dispose of the hot meat. All i can say is what a fantastic, smooth service they have for when one of their delivery services makes a mistake. Trustpilot only gives me the option of 5 stars, but if the option had 10 stars, that would be the rating. Thankyou meat supermarket i will most definitely be using you again.
