After writing my review Medway have claimed it is the “wrong” company in attempt to get review removed is an actual joke my surgery I had was not performed properly and I was forced to pay an extra £700 on the spot right before going into theatre which is so unprofessional as had messaged them many times confirming there will be no more fees added and they agreed they also months later said they would do free revision as I showed them the surgery wasn’t completely properly as confirmed by specialist back home but kept making me show more n more photos which looked identical then at last second lied and said it isn’t possible to carry out surgery which just isn’t true as had to go elsewhere and pay to get it done again

Had several procedures with medaway 12 months apart, had no issues, until I had an issue with my implants after 6 months of them being done, tried to contact medaway and have been ignored ever since, definitely think I need t go down the scam route as the surgery wasn't done correctly.
This is my second year and again is amazing experience i had a mid face lifting with Dr. Taygun i will like to say the best dr ever. Last year he did rhinoplasty and i am so happy with the results every time looking in the mirror love my nose and now mid face lifting and again brilliant outcome. Organiser are so good to hotel is one of the best hotels in Istanbul i had full care in the hotel room aswell 2 times a day visit by hotel nurse hotel staff are so good to. Everything was brilliant thank you so much guys and hope to see you next year again for my dental care
I’ve booked for extended tummy tuck, lipo and breast lift. Have paid £3,400 so far and now - no response to my messages. I am totally stuck in limbo. Unable to pay any more towards my surgery (no replies other than “I will prepare you a link” and nothing ever comes!) but also unable to get any answers about a refund from their business account either. Not happy! Don’t waste your time or money on MedAway. Useless, unprofessional time wasters! Hoping to get money back through my bank…
AVOID!!! I’d give this place 0 as 3 days after my surgeries still trying to make me walk whilst I was weak, hallucinating & dizzy an un able to even lift myself I was that weak but they still took my catheter out leaving me with no way to the toilet that my husband had to carry me, the surgeon finally checked in on me as it’s like a cattle market, an said I should have been given a blood transfusion straight away I then had to wait for the admin team to come take a payment of £200 or no blood transfusion once payment taken I was given the transfusion most was spilt on the floor! I started feeling a little better an was sent to a hotel in a transfer as Id had 360 tummy tuck and 5 places lipo & boob lift & implants, basically because I’d been so ill I’d not had the chance to walk around much so my stitching was extra tight, I couldn’t bend to climb in the van an was told to lie on the floor next to other peoples feet my husband ignored her an put me in the front seat which I was told wasn’t for passengers but I barely got in there, when I got to the hotel we didn’t have a booking so I got the hotel to call as they ignored my calls, they then only booked us in for 1 night but wanted us to stay 5 more & were expected us to pay for room & massages every day, I soon caught on to the fact they had every person who had surgery stay a few extra days which made the hotel money at £90 a night, I was advised different surgery’s to what I booked an so I was due a refund of £950 that was January 4th 2025 it’s now almost July an all the group chats an admin staff have blocked me on there WhatsApp groups!!! The email address gets ignored! Beware these surgeons are working between 12 & 18 hrs a day 7 days a week my operation was scheduled at 4pm but I wasn’t taken down till 11.30pm I was finished at 4.15am an my surgeon was back at work 8.30am next day my husband noticed this with all the surgeons that worked there & that as one hospital bed came back to the ward with someone having had there surgery a new person was taken within 15 minutes. The room stank so badly it made you wretch everytime the bathroom door was opened an it had work men every few hours just walk in my room without knocking go in the bathroom an leave leaving the door open, The nurses never washed or cleaned hands or wore gloves and when emptying the drains they would have a bucket with everyone else’s drainage in it an they put on the bed whilst emptying mine, same with dressing or needles they would have a tub or bucket with everyone’s in no gloves or washing of hands! The food was inedible I’d have been unable to get any if I didn’t have someone travelling with me an the cleaner was more attentive to the patients than the nurses!!
Plus my breast implants were meant to be a G that I was measured up for but they are actually an E so they don’t even give you what you ask for! Once you pay don’t expect any kind of care or kindness to be fair really makes you appreciate how good our nhs is as when I got home it turned out I had an infection under both breast in the stitches that was ignored by Medway when I messaged, but the nhs nurses cleaned them up monitored them an eventually they healed, the nurse also had to remove some stitches a few months after my op as they was not dissolvable when I messaged Medaway I think by now you’ve guessed it no reply! I’d give the nhs after care I got 5*! An 1 other thing I’m 6.5 months post op now a the side scares of my boobs are bumped where it’s be cut a stitched so not a pretty site! They definitely play on your insecurities and use them against you I was meant to have my legs an arms done but they said I can’t have them done at the same time but originally agreed to it TOOK MY MONEY AN BLOCKED ME ON THE NUMBERS I HAD TO CONTACT THEM!
Don’t do what I did an ignore the 1*reviews think they where being Karen’s because most of the 5* reviews are fake!
I also found out that they have changed names several times from a member of staff at the hotel I stayed at a told that is the reason they only have one floor in the dark derelict hospital building!
I would not advise anyone to go here I had a gastric sleeve and i was neglected from day one and they never gave me any after care not even a message to ask how I am and I messaged a few days ago asking for advice about hair loss and they said I will ask the doctor and never got back to me at all I think they are very unprofessional
Paid a deposit of almost £500 for a hair transplant, then got no response from the people I was in contact was so I cancelled my flights and haven’t heard from anyone since. The number they have in London doesn’t work people don’t trust this place will just scam you out of money!!
AVOID THIS SCAM COMPANY
I had a very unpleasant experience with a private clinic in Istanbul, where I had both cosmetic surgery (liposuction and tummy tuck) and dental treatments (dental implants).
Initially, I was offered a package for £7,000 that included both surgery and dental implants. I sent X-rays from the UK before arriving at the clinic, and they already knew about my dental problems. However, on site, they charged me an additional £1,000 for the surgery and increased the price for the implants, saying that I had “more problems than expected”, even though this was already evident from the X-rays.
After paying, in January I received an invoice for two implants, but when I arrived for the procedure, they told me that I needed a “bone graft”, which was not mentioned to me initially, even though they had all the information from November.
In July, when I requested a quote for two additional implants, I didn’t receive a response for two weeks. When I finally did receive a response, they avoided giving me a clear price and continued to mislead me with vague information.
I also requested the certificates for the implants and the X-rays, but I received no response.
I recommend that you be extremely careful with this clinic, as their behavior was completely unprofessional and disrespectful towards the patient. I advise you to look for reviews and check any offer that includes constantly changing prices
From start to finish I have no complaints, very professional, no waiting about, and great after care.
Had a 360 Vaser Lipo procedure performed in March this year. It has now been 3 months since the procedure & I feel absolutely amazing! The surgeon, team, staff, nurses, facilities, experience, travel, booking, payment, food & communication throughout (WhatsApp group etc) - all faultless & the team clearly know what they are doing & how to treat their patients! Couldn’t be more happier with how everything went.
I must emphasise on RECOVERY. Having the procedure is all & well, which the surgeon will perform. However, recovery is super important & I made sure I had at least 3 Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massages a week booked for the first month once I returned back to the UK, then 2 a week for the 2nd month & so forth. Lots of water as recommended by the team and surgeon … & now I live life with a great figure! I no longer have ‘tyres’ or ‘huge hips’ … instead, I have a nice tapered V shape in which ‘slim fit’ shirts now look amazing on me!

I contacted this company as I wanted to under go Rhinoplasty. I was contacted by ***** who provided me with several links to ‘patient stories’ and information on their surgeons. I initially agreed to the price provided and booked and paid my deposit. After then taking a bit more time to read reviews of the clinic and hospital I decided I was no longer confident in this firm due to their lack of transparency amongst a score of poor reviews.
I advised ******* I no longer wished to proceed and initially she was understanding and advised my deposit would be refunded and that it may take some time. I am however now being told that deposits are non refundable despite both Turkish and UK consumer law stipulating a 14 day cooling off period for purchases made remotely. In addition I have emailed the finance team and head office on multiple occasions and I have been completely ignored. Unfortunately , this appears to be a reflection of how this company operate and I would urge anyone considering surgery in Turkey to look elsewhere at reputable and honest companies who operate within the law.
Poor quality service during procedure and unresponsive post-operation (Rhinoplasty). I have requested a copy of my medical dossier and support with a breathing problem post-rhinoplasty and they don't reply.
During the sales process the communication was good, which is why I chose them, but as soon as I booked my flight and their service quality became very low.
For example:
- None of the four on-site Medaway staff ever introduced themselves, they just start talking to you.
- The timings of all every step of the procedure did not go according to the schedule shared prior to booking with surprise changes every day.
- After my procedure they left me the hospital room for many hours without checking on me. The room was 32 degrees celcius and I was bleeding through my bandages but there was no nurse button to call for support and no one came.
- After release from hospital they forgot to tell the hotel nurse about me so I was bleeding through my bandages again and didn't have instructions on how to take my medications (they just handed me a bag).
- the 'consultation' with the doctor prior to surgery was him coming to the hospital room for 5 minutes and just asking 'what are you looking for'. Nothing professional at all and they didn't write anything down.
- three times they messaged me in surprise in the morning telling me my pickup had changed and they were coming in an hour. When I asked for updated scheduling so I could be prepared in advance, they ignored multiple requests.
- I had an allergic reaction to something during the procedure and need a copy of my medical dossier but they aren't responding to the request. After many attempts they sent a couple page medical report, but it is incorrect and states I didn't have any allergic response and that they called me after I returned home, which never happened. I asked for the correction but there is no response.
- After 7 weeks my stitches still haven't dissolved and my septum is too swollen for the nasal retainer that I need to wear to keep my nostrils open and so I'm still breathing through my mouth. I'm trying to get support but they've been unresponsive so far. I just reached out to the doctor directly to see if that will work.
I very hope other companies have better quality service as these procedures are scary and impact you the rest of your life.

I just want to say that my trip to MedAway in Turkey Istanbul was very successful! Even more than I expected. I had 360 tummy tuck and liposuction, also liposuction at my upper back and lower back.

From collecting me from the airport, and throughout my stay, they have been attentive and ensured that I was comfortable, safe and taken me to and from appointments throughout my stay.
The hospital staff cared for my every needs. Also, my stay at the hotel after my surgery was well cared for with nurse on site that was there to answer my calls throughout my stay, and ensured that I was ok at all times. I cannot leave out my therapist.
She is amazing! I wish I was staying longer to have more massage sessions with her. My body is feeling much better since I started the massage.

I had breast surgery there approximately one month ago and developed an infection (still ongoing) Since then, I have received no post-operative care or follow-up support. Despite numerous attempts to contact the clinic over my infection, I have received no response.
On the day of my departure, I was also told I would have a final in person review with the surgeon. But it never happened, they refused to let me see a surgeon. Instead, I was seen by a woman who smelled of cigarettes and she aggressively pulled my surgical drains using a razor blade?? + without any gloves!!
They also failed to arrange my scheduled transport to the airport (included in the package you pay for) leaving me to organize and pay for my own transportation at the last minute or I would’ve missed my flight!!
