Reported Fraud to FTC - Review of MedCline Scam & Amenity Health, Inc.
After my customer service interaction with MedCline, that basically told me to bugger off, I just reported them to FTC, just Google “report fraud FTC”.

Subject: Complaint Regarding MedCline Shoulder Relief System – Product and Return Policy Concerns
I am submitting this complaint regarding my experience with Amenity Health, Inc., the manufacturer of the MedCline Shoulder Relief System.
After purchasing the product, I found it to be uncomfortable and impractical for sleep. The design restricts movement and causes disruption when attempting to change sleeping positions. As a result, the product is no longer in use.
When I attempted to initiate a return, I encountered delays and was informed that the process would take several weeks. Additionally, I was charged a restocking fee that was not clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. This may violate the FTC Act, which prohibits deceptive practices and requires clear disclosure of return policies. Furthermore, under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, consumers are entitled to specific warranty terms for products that fail to perform as advertised.
Upon reviewing consumer feedback on platforms such as Trustpilot, I found numerous similar complaints, suggesting a pattern of delayed returns and unclear policies. These practices raise concerns about transparency and compliance with federal consumer protection standards.
I request that the FTC investigate Amenity Health, Inc. for potentially deceptive business practices and non-compliance with applicable return policy regulations.

Wonderful Product and Customer Service
A physician concerned about my reflux recommended Medcline. I purchased the reflux relief system immediately after leaving her office.
Getting comfortable with the large wedge and the body pillow took some time. Believe the Medcline people when they say, "It takes as much as 30 days to adjust." That's not just their way of deflecting your concerns about discomfort. During the time when I was struggling, Medcline customer care was extraordinary. "Exceeds expectations" is overused, but it is the only description I can think of to describe the help my sleep specialist provided. Every question, every single difficulty, was addressed by phone or email from the time I purchased the product until I was satisfied.
Bottom line: my coughing, hoarseness, and esophageal burning from reflux are reduced. After getting accustomed to the body pillow, my back is in a more neutral sleeping position and I have less lower back discomfort (stemming from a car crash). My physical therapist also is pleased with the results.
I will never go back to sleeping flat again, with a stack of pillows under my head and an ordinary pillow between my knees. Thank you, Medcline. The product does what you promise and you have proven exceptional as an organization.

MedCline Shoulder System Review – Scam
I purchased the MedCline Shoulder System and it completely failed to work for me.
It’s terribly uncomfortable to sleep on. Your arm gets trapped, and when you try to flip sides in the middle of the night, it’s difficult and disruptive. It now sits unused in my closet, taking up space and adding unnecessary stress.
When I tried to return it, I was told I had to wait weeks, even though Canadian consumer law guarantees a 10-day cooling-off period. On top of that, they insist on charging a restocking fee, which is never clearly disclosed at the point of purchase.
If you’re considering the MedCline Shoulder System, be warned:
1. The product is overpriced and poorly designed
2. The return process is intentionally difficult and delayed
3. The company is clearly hoping you give up and never return the item
After checking Trustpilot, I found many others reporting the same issues. This company has a pattern of delay tactics and misleading policies.
If everyone who had this experience issued a chargeback through their credit card, it would cost MedCline $85 per case in bank fees, create major internal headaches, and eventually result in them losing their merchant processor. Maybe then they’d stop these shady and illegal practices.
Avoid this company at all costs.

I bought the Shoulder relief system a couple of weeks ago, and while the shoulder relief area works lovely, this thing has given me all kinds of lower back pain and hip pain. I completely regret spending so much money on this. There website is a mess, half the links aren't active, and you CANNOT return this once it's opened so it's a huge risk. I took it because I am in a lot of pain, but I really do regret it. Please consider this before you drop that much money!
This is an update on July 10th, my wife has tried emailing and contacting them and we still haven't heard anything.
See their response... someone on their team did a great job coming up with that. Took them a while, though!

Was not comfortable at all! Tried for 60 days but could not make it comfortable. Was denied on a refund because we took the full 60 days to try it.

I recently purchased the medcline pillow system ! I originally purchased the shoulder system which was a bit too big for me and the medcline support team was super knowledgeable and informative which helped me find the right fit for me which is amazing ! I've struggled with sleep and staying asleep and for the first time in years I've slept through the entire night all week without waking up fully to shift around. if youve been thinking about it , just do it. weve all spent more for less but with this you won't regret it.

I can only give the system a Meh
I can only give the system a Meh! To be honest. It resolved one problem ie: nerve impingement due to side sleeping in my shoulders. However the system created new ones including lower back, hip and neck pain with occassional bought of pain underneath my shoulder blade because of how the system props your body up.
With the cost being so high ie: £240 in the uk and them giving you no option to return it feels more like a gimmick than a real solution. You can’t buy replacement parts either (the sleep cushion has lost some of its rigidity so my head is often in the wrong place hence the neck pain) only the entire system again and the extra covers are very expensive. It’s also incredibly hot and it’s impossible to share a double bed with someone, as the system is so wide.
I’d recommend this only to someone with a lighter body and then only for short term support for an injury. Over the long term it affects your spine and muscle alignments (had a lot of pulls, bruises and long term pain issues due to the system).

Best money I've ever spent
Best money I've ever spent. I bought mine about a year age and have slept like a baby every night since (OK, there was that one time when I had the flu ...). This is a brilliant design — I sleep, but my arm does not. For me, there's just enough of a lift to keep me from snoring.

I purchased the shoulder relief system pillow for my husband who has severe carpal tunnel and has been unable to sleep on his left side due to extreme numbness in his arm and hand. He absolutely hated it. I think I paid over $150 for this system and it was his main Christmas gift and the very first night that he tried to sleep with it, the positioning pulled his spine out of alignment and he gave it to me. I tried it... Also, very unhappy with it... It is big, bulking and awkward to try and use if you switch sleeping sides or positions. I would definitely NOT recommend this product as it is far more trouble than it is worth...

The customer service is wonderful
The wedge i bought was too long, and medcline made it super easy to get a smaller wedge. I sleep much better and I am less stiff in the morning and no shoulder pain. My husband started using the body pillow and I don't think I'm getting that one back. LOL. The product is great and the customer service was exceptional. Very helpful and responds quickly.

Customer Support and Return Process Confusing
I am a UK customer. I am trying out the shoulder relief system. To be honest, it's not working for me at the moment, but I am persevering, working with their team for 30 days as instructed on the website. I am a little confused about the return policy because it states that opened items cannot be returned but it also states that 'any customer wishing to return a product after 1 to 2 nights of use and within the recommended period, or not working with our team, will not be able to return the product without us having the opportunity to help them correctly find comfort and relief.' This statement indicates that it is possible to return an opened system after working with the team. I have tried to work with the team via chat (telephone contact is not available), and we have both agreed that the system is not working for me they have run out of recommendations. However, the team now tell me that I can't return the item due to the packaging being open, is this not a catch 22 because you cannot return the item if it doesn't work for you unless you work with the team, and if you work with the team you have to open the item which now invalidates a return. I am very confused.

Great product
What made this a five-star experience with the fact that I ordered an item that I found out clinically and medically I couldn't use and the customer service help on returning it was awesome the product had great quality but wasn't suited for me and they totally understood what was going on and had no issue with helping me get a return on it I think this product is awesome but those who medically you know and have the physical stamina to be able to use it

Horrible Customer Service
I bought the full Medcline pillow set and did not select the pillowcase which is an extra $50.00. After checking out it automatically added this on. Total ended up being $250. Was not happy about it, but let it go and thought I will try it out. Opened pillowcase and it does not go on the pillow at all. I had rotator cuff surgery and explained this to customer service. She said no return of pillowcase after you open it. I know this is a lie because the whole set can be returned after 30 days. The representative was not professional nor accommodating to help me in the least bit. It seemed to be all about the money. Do not buy this set as 1) customer service is zero help, 2) it is too expensive, 3) it takes up half of a king size bed, 4) no returns before 30 days, basically they force you to keep it for 30 days hoping you will forget about returning it so they can keep their money. Again, this company is all about money not helping people.

Shoulder relief system .
Purchased the shoulder relief system and what a mistake that was .
The system is large and cumbersome. Does not fit a king size bed in the uk unless you sleep on your own.
With regards to the product itself it is absolute rubbish. It may relieve shoulder pain, however it makes your neck very sore and uncomfortable. It makes you very hot during sleep to the point that I’ve had to dismiss the product altogether.
Do not purchase the item it’s overhyped to the extreme. Uk people keep away from this product . Rubbish, Rubbish, Rubbish.

Finally - Something that Works!
I've had acid reflux for years. I've tried EVERYTHING --pillow-size wedges, queen size wedges . . . and I slid off all of them. The MedCline acid reflux system is a game changer and worth every cent. The materials used on the wedge and body pillow are top quality. Once the system conformed to my body, the sliding stopped. I thought I would have a problem missing my squishy pillows - NOT! It's very cozy sleeping in a "cocoon" with light weight pressing my upper back and being able to hug the front. I'll never use a traditional pillow again. My acid reflux is significantly less and my arm positions are very comfortable. A small tip for the ladies -- if you use a silk pillow case to preserve your hairstyle, you can still do it! Just cut off the zipper end and the opposite end and then snake the remaining "tube" up and around the body pillow. Voila! MedCline's customer service is also top notch; their responses were helpful and timely. Thank you MedCline for giving me peace of mind as I enjoy a good night's rest!

I mistakenly purchased a pillow case
I mistakenly purchased a pillow case, thinking it was the pillow. I noticed my mistake as soon as the confirmation email arrived. I immediately emailed the company explaining that it was a mistake, I also replied to the confirmation of order asking them to cancel.
The pillow case arrived - I have since emailed the company several times as I now need to return the item (there is a deadline for returns) - I have had no response to any emails.
As for the product! £50 for a pillowcase!
