Bought a laptop from Aldi a few weeks…

Bought a laptop from Aldi a few weeks later got the blue screen of death and some USB issue. So I bring it back to Aldi in good shape so Medion can have a look at it. A month later, the laptop come back, with a broken screen and damage all over. Definitely damage in transport between Aldi and Medion. Now the technical support is saying that it's outside warranty and I even had picture of the laptop just before giving it to Aldi

They refuse repair under warranty!!

NEVER AGAIN a Medion product!!
I've rarely seen such poor customer support. I have a 1 year old laptop which first lost one screw, then a second which resulted in a large opening at the bottom of the laptop when you lift the screen.

I took it to a local repair shop where they immediately recognised the problem (as it wasn't the first time they'd seen it with a Medion laptop).
Apparently they use plastic hinges which brake easily and quickly.

I googled the problem and came up with many other users with the same exact problem both on Medion's forum and on Amazon but all had terrible Medion service to report where they systematically denied their customers a repair under warranty because they accused their customers of having damaged the laptop (dropping it or whatever) which is of course completely untrue and impossible for the customer to disprove!
So concerned I would face the same problem I sent the pictures to Medion and low and behold...the guy in fact confirmed the highly likelyhood I would be billed for the repair!!
If you don't want to pay the repair...guess what? You pay the return shipping at a whopping rate of +-40€!

What a scam, what a terrible way treat your paying customers...I'm disgusted.

Incorrect invoice

Did not provide us with a correct invoice for our company. Even after repeated emails and paypal dispute. 'invoices cannot be changed'. No service at all.
