This site is a complete SCAM!!!! WATCH OUT!!!!

I used to think online lessons just wouldn’t work for me. I’ve always studied face-to-face, so the idea of switching to online tutoring felt strange.
But I decided to give it a try, and I’m really glad I did. I found a great language tutor through this platform, and the whole experience has been much better than I expected. The lessons are interactive, relaxed, and focused exactly on what I need. Plus, it’s so much easier to schedule and saves a lot of time.

So if you’re still hesitating because online lessons feel unfamiliar, my honest advice is: give it a chance. You might be surprised how effective and convenient it can be. For me, it turned out to be absolutely worth it.

Long story short,
This website let me restart my mentoring side-career and give back from what I learned during my day job.

And also, teaching is learning, so such a website is a great personal growth engine, both ways (mentors and mentees).

Meditatii.ro is a connector between people having the know-how of various subjects, and people that need to learn from a professional.

I used the app to restart my work of mentoring people, in the domain of IT and Programming.

I appreciate the attention to details and user needs, such as extra information about both teachers and students (probable time table when we are available, clear goals, timelines etc)

The experience and UI is simple, and the connection requests are text based (in Feb 2025 at least), we pay for conversation credits, and I estimate that the basic price should be enough for at least 30 successful conversations.

The best win is that the mentees are professional, the results are shown by having the number of requests tracked in the app.

I've been a member of Meditatii.ro for some time now, and to this day I am very happy with our joint progress.

As a private English teacher, I was initially scouting the web for new spaces to promote myself, stumbled upon them, and said I'd give it a try. Fast-forward to now, and I have taught entire generations of all ages. This meeting spot has allowed me to very quickly pivot from an unfulfilling day job to pursuing my true passion, within a flourishing and rewarding environment. The dozens of people I've met through this platform have been a joy to work with, and I've been very pleased to see how my lessons had a direct, positive impact on their lives, jobs and careers.

Some backstory: as a native Romanian, I graduated in the humanities, though not in a language-oriented field. Unrelated, years later I found this website. In the first month, starting with virtually zero online presence (just a picture and some ad text), I still managed to gather upwards of 9 online students. By the second month, I was fully engaged with the platform -- teaching had turned into my main job. By the third and fourth month, my earnings had multiplied substantially.

People sometimes wonder if it's even possible to "get by" or "make it" in a field that they hold passion for in their hearts. The full answer is: yes, but it's never easy. In a space filled with tens of thousands of tutors and learners, we have to understand that, first and foremost, we are all operating inside a market -- and no amount of academic achievements can get around that. To any new teachers or students, I say this: just sign up, learn how the platform works, and think smart. Be very aware of every step you take, and learn from it -- both pedagogically-wise, as well as business-wise.

In my view, the small team behind the site is very culture-savvy, business-driven, but also passionate about bringing tutors in contact with learners. They are nice, sharp people; every interaction I've had with them has been pleasant and productive. All of this eventually reflects on the community they’ve built, allowing others like me to pursue what they love: sharing education.

I discovered this platform not long ago, but it didn't take me long to realize how effective it is.
Meditații.ro is a great launch pad for any teacher/trainer or anyone who wants to teach. The platform is used by so many people that it's impossible not to find people you connect with and take your teaching to the next level.
There is also a Pro version, where you can form a team and, why not, start a business!
I chose Pro, and I congratulate myself on this decision.
So far, the collaboration with Alex has gone very well. And I hope it will continue to do so in the future. He is honest, prompt, and helpful, just as any collaborator should be.

I am satisfied with my collaboration with Meditații.ro and I am curious to see what else they have up to their sleeve in the future.

Overall it was a great experience. The platform is very intuitive, with explanations at every step on the process. My goal regarding the site was reached very fast so I truly recommend it!

You are receiving messages as 'students' are interested in being prepared about the subject you are teaching. Then, you have to buy their package and a lot of silence ... To be avoided ...

This site is a complete mess. Don't use it.

Parts of the site do not work. You get a "500 Server Error" when you are logged in and you try to access the teachers profiles. I send those guys screenshots with the errors and they are just ignoring it saying that i should access the site from different devices or browsers ( which of course i did and i receive the same error). The technical support team should attend some computer science themselves to learn how to solve those tickets.

Also their business model is very questionable. As a user (in this case as a student) you don't get any notifications per email that your application is really forwarded to the teacher you chose. You just wait and wait forever and nothing happens. They even ask you to give them additional 20 € in order to prove that you are a "serious" student or to pay even more for using their service so they are searching the "right" teacher for your needs.
I think letting you wait for a long time is part of their business strategy.

Also the text in the FAQs is formulated very harsh so you get the fealing you are treated like a solicitor.

Apparently they have enough customers and don't want to make efforts to have some more.

Great website for finding students and teachers alike, although I used it to find people to teach piano skills. Not expensive for the amount of features you get!
