Megal Publisher is a modern, browser-based desktop-publishing application operated by Megal Software Limited, a UK software company registered under company number 17078983. It provides a familiar Publisher-style workspace for creating flyers, brochures, newsletters, booklets and other page layouts. Users can load Microsoft Publisher .pub files and rebuild supported text, pictures, tables, shapes and page-layout elements as editable browser objects. Imported publications are saved in Megal Publisher’s editable .mpub format; Megal Publisher does not save files back to .pub. Publications can be printed or exported as PDF and SVG. Megal Publisher also includes optional AI tools for generating and rewriting text, creating images and adding new content to both new and imported publications. AI availability depends on the user’s account, subscription and available credits. A Free account allows users to create, edit, import and save publications. The Professional subscription includes premium output without the Free-plan watermark and 1,000 Megal AI Credits after each successful monthly payment. Additional credits are available separately. Megal Publisher is developed and operated by Megal Software Limited. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.

I purchased Megal Publisher last week…

I purchased Megal Publisher last week as a recommendation from a friend, as I needed a desktop publishing package that could open my publisher files, because Microsoft publisher is ending in October. I used it to open and edit a .pub file and found it was capable of opening most of my files with high acracy. The software is the perfect replacement for Microsoft Publisher and also has built in AI tools which make it easy to edit and change text and images.
I am very happy with Megal Publisher and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Microsoft Publisher Alternative.
