Melbet Scammed Me Over 200k Naira

After placing a wager on Melbet and winning, I requested a withdrawal from my account. Normally, withdrawals from their platform reach my bank account in less than 10 minutes. This time it was taking hours to process, which immediately felt suspicious.

It was late so I went to sleep. When I woke up, I saw an email from Melbet saying that I now needed to complete “video verification” because my account had supposedly been flagged. When I tried to log in to my Melbet account to check what was going on, I was greeted with an account blocked notification.

This is extremely unfair. It feels like the moment someone wins and tries to withdraw their funds, their account suddenly becomes a problem. Instead of processing the withdrawal, the account gets blocked.

For context, I currently have over 200,000 naira in that Melbet account which has now been suspended without any clear reason. Even if the company decides to permanently close my account, the fair thing to do would be to allow me to withdraw the money that belongs to me.

Right now it feels like my funds are being held without justification. That is not how a legitimate platform should treat its users.

To anyone thinking about joining Melbet: be careful. My experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I wish I had seen the many negative reviews before depositing my money on their platform.

Nigeria Customer – Withdrawal Delayed Despite Full Verification

I am a customer from Nigeria, and I want to share my ongoing experience with MELBET.
My Bet ID is 1550885353. My withdrawal has been pending for over a week due to continuous verification requests. Each time I submit a requested document, I wait around 72 hours for a reply, only to be asked for another document. This cycle has been very frustrating.
I submitted my bank statement generated directly from the official app of PALMPAY, but it was rejected and labeled as fake. I was then asked to provide an electricity bill. In my area in Nigeria, most of us use prepaid meters, so I generated the bill from the official app of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC). That was also rejected as “not original.”
To prove it was genuine, I even recorded a video showing the document being generated from the official platform. This was acknowledged by their team, yet my withdrawal is still being held.
I have fully cooperated and provided genuine documents from official sources. At this point, it feels unfair and unnecessarily delayed.

I hope this issue is resolved quickly and that the verification process becomes more transparent for customers.
