I ordered their "Creamy Matt lipstick" in the shade "Candyfloss". The product photos made it look rich and creamy and highly pigmented. What arrived was somewhat waxy. The formulation reminded me of when you put on tinted lip balm and the colour is kind of translucent - not quite THAT translucent, but certainly not the coverage shown in their advertising. A nice shade, but not what I thought I was buying.
Package sent fast enough, no problem, colour on the photograph on the matte lipstick was nothing like it when it arrived, I did expect some difference, but not as much difference as it was, basically the Florence is just another brown like every other company out there. It is definitely not long lasting at all! I would not recommend. When I put my post in the comments about this, it was immediately deleted. I did this 3 times.
Mellow cosmetics are for sale in Superdrug in the UK so I’m confused as to why social media is pushing the Australian-based distributor in England; unnecessary air miles. The products are made in China, not Australia, which is unclear in all the promotional material. When I posted this on their Facebook page, the comment was deleted. I feel they’re using Australia as some kind of glamorising marketing technique. Decent enough colour lipstick. Just don’t like feeling duped
They have amazing and very high quality cosmetics. I am very happy with their products and they shipped to me less than one week
Mellow Cosmetics contacted me with 30% off to promote them and also with a commission code. I ordered my products to the UK over a month ago and still nothing, even though Australia to UK shipping is no less than 6 days! THEN I got a card through saying that I have to pay £11 for custom fees, even when I paid for these products for some reason my card was charged and extra £2 to begin with. They may sell nice products from the reviews online but their customer service sucks!
Shipping to Europe was no issue, items were in a secure package with tracking.
