We had a family holiday with one family luggage booked under my name. I felt unwell just before the flight and decided not to board. Informed Menzies boarding member acting behalf of another airline about the situation . They simply told me to cancel my boarding and leave the airport. I passed the luggage tag receipt to my family in-front them to claim the luggage at destination. I head off to exist where I was told I must to be escorted out by them! Heading back to the desk , I realised they are offloading our luggage and sending my family without anything.
When I confronted them why you didn’t tell us at the first place they start covering up for each other. They ruined our holiday . When I asked for name , reference and staff number to lodge the official complaint they refused to do so ..
I am baffled who let them running business with this kind of behaviour

They lose your bag and have no patience to try and locate it or provide useful information on how to track it. Total rubbish.
Appalling
Appalling service at Edinburgh Airport last week. The ground crew responsible for boarding a BA flight to London were on a go slow. One female calling out one group at a time at slow space, (she had to call the next group once she had finished the last group) initially 6 passengers at a time. Meanwhile 2 other staff stood chatting at the bottom of the stairs. Even the BA staff on board acknowledged and recognised the time it was taking to board the flight. This flight took off late solely because of this company and BA should not be accepting this service.

I had a bag left behind from an emirates flight and menzies were holding onto it. I had to send a family member to collect it as l don’t live in Auckland. Now once my family member got there, it took them ages to locate the bag despite me speaking to a lady 2 days earlier to sort all that out and label my bag. Also when l rung them 2 days ago, they asked me the contents of the luggage that was left behind in which l had some baby clothing and my hair straightener. I doubled checked with the lady that my hair straightener was within the luggage and she confirmed me, even the colour.
Once my family member got the luggage at the counter, she opened to have a look and she saw that the hair straightener was missing. I rung menzies and told them about the it and all the lady on the phone said there was no hair straightener there despite confirming me the other day that there was a hair straightener in the bag. Such liers! Very upsetting to see that no investigation done on missing items. Very bad service and worse staff l have ever seen. Emirates should use another aviation company which is reliable, menzies has got such a low star rating but yet nobody cares to improve service in their company.
I am gutted to lose my belonging and pretty sure staff would have stolen the straightener. An investigation should have been done on this.

We travelled with a disabled daughter …
We travelled with a disabled daughter from the Copenhagen airport and had a car seat as that’s the only way to support her spine during flight. Two ladies at the last checking desk told that the car seat was “too big” however even no measurements were taken. They forced us to put the seat in the luggage compartment of the plane. I was holding my daughter on my hands from the check in point and was tired to fight. Fortunately after the plane crew helped to give the car seat back. I still can not believe it happened in such a developed country as Denmark. We haven’t had that rudeness and unprofessional issues before.

Totally robbed of £48 not just me but one of the other travellers with me aswell. Said our bag was oversized and it wasn't both had been purchases for the correct cabin size 40x30x20 which whizz air stipulate.the assistant was rude not helpful in the slightest and made me feel very humiliated

On October 16th at 18.30 in Bucharest Airport, a female employee was checking in a Ryanair flight. I went to the desk and she shouted ' passport' to me. I said she didn't need my passport as I just had a question. She ignored that and again shouted ' PASSPORT!'. She tutted and rolled her eyes. I told her she was rude and she just ignored me. Later she was at the boarding gate. She was snatching passports off everyone, scanning them but not once did she check the photos. She never once looked at anyone's face. A very rude arrogant woman. Flying out of ATL
Flying out of ATL, the gate lady was the rudest, most insufferable human I’ve come across in awhile. Not accommodating, the flights gate was moved and nobody’s app showed the change. 35 freaking passengers arrived within 1-10 minutes after boarding due to going to the wrong gate and she laughed and shut the door. Didn’t help anyone or tell them what to do to get rebooked, if she’s that miserable here i’m sure she wouldn’t mind being fired. I’m sure passengers wouldn’t mind her being fired either. I have a photo of her and would be happy to share.
Unproffesional Menzies employee
On my flight to Luton EZY2512 I was told that handluggage was free if it met a certain criteria. At the gate I had to pay 58 euro's because "the flight was full" and my handbagage, which fitted in the measuring device had to be checked in. The MenIes guy did the same with a few other passengers that came behind me claiming that their luggage did not meet the requirements. I did not see if they paid, but I heard the commotion. The Menzies guy at the gate predictably did not want to give us his name and he did not care that my luggage fitted in the device. After boarding was complete, half of the overhead lockers were still empty (I took pictures) and the flight was only half full. I felt I was lied to and money was stolen from me. He even laughed at me when I said that I wanted to file a complaint. Very unprofessional behaviour and I don't want to have anything to do with that company ever again.

My suitcase went missing on a flight back from Milan. I completed the forms at Gatwick and was told I would hear from someone in 24 hours - that did not happen. The customer service from Menzies is shocking and the staff are so rude. I know it’s not their fault your luggage is lost but they aren’t helpful in the slightest and this is their job. I had to ask so many questions just to get a simple answer about where my baggage is. Why is it so difficult to just tell you the information without an attitude. They make an already stressful situation worse and I am not confident in the slightest I will get my personal belongings back.

You just know it’s going to take 30minutes plus before bags appear. EasyJet and Ryanair must love Menzies as they drive everybody to pay for cabin bags as they are so crap

Worst place I’ve ever worked …. Constant issues stemming from management and constant racism in the workplace is disgusting by staff and management…. Constantly been referred to as slaves by management …. The equipment old and unsafe half the time …. Favouritism in the workplace is clear and never resolved …any complaints or queries always overlooked and dismissed
Terrible company
This is a terrible company that you can find. It does not respond at the airport, does give you a phone number that does not work out (see their website), and does not deliver on time. Please do not get it if you can avoid it. Unfortunately, air Canada uses this, and I could not avoid it. I never write reviews but this one is deserved!!!
The Best Staff Member at Menzies
I had an awful time with the Easyjet app, I know now to never rely on the application. It was my 22nd birthday and was nearly left stranded at Schiphol with my friend. Frantically panicking searching for any help to get home, we came across a lovely lady that worked for Menzies at H5 (sadly never caught her name). She was an angel, her help and support was top tier. She really is a credit to the company. Got in contact with the right people and was on my way home in no time. Honestly don't think I’d be home now to my parents and Birthday without her. Thank you. We had that drink for you too!
