This place is a complete shambles

This place is a complete shambles and nobody seems to know what's happening. I bought a new car and after 18 months reported several battery issues to the dealership but each time they said to ignore it everything is ok. After leaving the car to go on holiday, After leaving the car to go on holiday, I returned and the car had completely shut down I reported it and booked the car in to have it looked at. It was a full day appointment. They had the car for a full day and did nothing and they didn't bother contacting me to say they will be doing nothing. I collected it and was told that the car would need a full battery drain overnight and then another day to have a software update. I have contacted the dealerships several times to book the car in and not one single person has called me or confirmed when the car should go in. I would avoid using this leads branch at all costs.

I generally avoid writing public…
I generally avoid writing public reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Stratstone Mercedes Leeds due to the seriousness of the issues involved and the lack of response from the dealership.

I purchased a vehicle from Stratstone Mercedes Leeds with the understanding that a warranty was included. However, at no point was I provided with any documentation related to this warranty, nor was it explained that it was a third-party product. This is a basic requirement when selling a vehicle under warranty, and the omission is both unprofessional and negligent.

What followed was even more concerning: despite multiple attempts to contact the dealership over a number of weeks—by phone, email and through Mercedes-Benz UK—I have received no formal response, no explanation, and no support. It has become impossible to access the warranty or even confirm its terms. The complete lack of communication has left me with unresolved mechanical issues and a significant financial burden.

As a parent of a child with special needs, the situation has had a direct and measurable impact on my family life. Regular therapy sessions had to be paused due to the vehicle being out of service, which in turn has affected my child’s well-being. I made this clear in my communication, hoping it would prompt some sense of responsibility or urgency—but again, there was only silence.

It’s deeply disappointing that such a large and established dealership would fail to meet even the most basic standards of after-sales care. A dealership carrying the Mercedes-Benz name should be held to a higher standard of professionalism, transparency, and customer support.

While I want to acknowledge that another branch (Mercedes Lakeside) has shown goodwill and attempted to assist—despite not being at fault—Stratstone Leeds has remained completely unresponsive.

I sincerely hope this review prompts Stratstone Mercedes Leeds to reflect on their internal processes and customer service standards. Customers deserve better than to be ignored, misled, and left to deal with avoidable consequences due to dealership oversight

When you agree to let these do a diagnostic on your car, or service in, remember... As "nice" and polite as the staff may come across they all get high because basically they see a walking breathing wallet, purse/bank. If there isn't a legitimate way to earn from you, they will engineer another way. Ethics of a raccoon basically. If you don't know anything about mechanics , go somewhere else reputable for a quote first.

Great customer service

Great customer service - both with service and just had new brake pads fitted - as I'm away unlil later in dayt , they even offered to valet the car for free, Michael. Smith from Mercedes called, made sure everything ok and went above and beyond, I have dealt with others at this site and all showed professionalism and actually cared that I'm satisfied, 5 stars for this team

Leeds Branch

I visited on Saturday and spoke to a lady who was helpful and showed me 2 cars which I was interested in. She was not the sales person bit said she would see if somebody was available. She was able to give me the cost of one of the cars but wasn’t sure of the other. A sales person came over and said he was with somebody but I could look at the cars, I asked him the cost and he gave me a rough price. I understand he would have to double check but turns out his rough price was very rough as it was more than 5k difference. I did say to him that I thought the price he gave was cheap.

I asked if I could make an appointment so I could speak to somebody about the 2 cars, I left my details and was told I would get a call. A week later still no call.

I understand due to Covid things are different but how long am I to wait for a call before I decide to look elsewhere?

Maybe the cars have been sold? Or maybe there are no appointments for a few weeks? Either way a call to keep me updated would help
