After an initial deep clean I now have Penny and Ang on a monthly basis. They get on while I'm working and do a good job leaving me just to a daily tidy round

We have had Merry Maids to clean our house for over a decade now but PENNY AND ANGELA who we have at the moment are a great team and work very hard to give our house the best clean possible !
They’re pleasant ,friendly and polite and our home gets treated like a palace!

Paid $300 for 2 people for 3 hours. Arrived home to find only 2 people there - supposedly 1 had just left, which I find hard to believe. The house started clean, as it was a move-in deep cleaning I requested. I had specified exactly what “deep cleaning“ I needed.

When I saw the house in day light the next day, it was clear nothing had been done aside from the one bathroom they ran and did when I came in. Nothing I specified had even been touched. There was still dust bunnies and dirt on the floor. When the movers came the next day, we were slipping around bc the film on the floor had not been mopped.

After I sent photos to demonstrate my concerns, I was told they’d send someone back out. I told them it would be a bit because I had to unpack first (between FT work, 2 hours daily commute, and parenting). When I called back to schedule my redo, they said it had been too long so they’d only give me 1 hour.

If you want to just give away your money for no service, they can help with that. If you want your house cleaned, find a different company!!!

Thank you for sending Sam over for the clean. She was punctual, professional, and incredibly thorough. Every corner of my home was spotless, and she paid attention to even the smallest details, and even gave me some clean tips.

Have just had Tracy, Louise and Mary do my monthly clean. As usual they all did a thorough clean for me. I have used Merry Maids on and off since 2014 (once a fortnight when I came out of hospital). I have always found them to be very good with no complaints. I would recommend them to do a good reliable job.

I love Merry Maids. We have been with Merry Maids for over a year and we have Shelby as our housekeeper. Shelby is the best housekeeper. She makes sure that every inch of my condo is spotless and we love her. She is even a good friend to our little dachshund while she cleans who can be a little annoying, but Shelby has patience. We couldn’t have asked for a better company or better housekeeper. Thank you.

I visited some people I knew to help them out because the brother has dementia and I offered to clean their house while there. I was told by them that Merry Maids cleans their house every 2 weeks. Well.. looks like its been 2 months or more since it was cleaned. There was a lot of hit and miss, several places had not seen a vacuum in a long time, thick dust on items never touched, dust and cobwebs from ceiling, food and tracked in dirt in corners of floors. Looks like these people were taken for their money with next to nothing service. I have addressed it with them and hope they never use this horrible cleaning service again. I found it unreal that Merry Maids has so many stellar reviews and how much of a thorough job they do. This place before I cleaned it myself was entirely filthy. Find another reliable, thorough company because they don't get rid of the filth.

We paid $868.20 for cleaning before our house hit the market. I ended up cleaning my house for six hours after because the service was so poor. Do not use them.

I recently hired Merry Maids for their Deep Clean service, and I was extremely disappointed. Their promise was to go above and beyond a general clean, but sadly, they failed to deliver on almost every front.

**Negatives**:
- No Deep Cleaning: Despite paying for a Deep Clean, it felt like a rushed general clean at best. Baseboards were left untouched until I pointed it out, and the stove was completely neglected.
- Lack of Attention to Detail: The cleaning team seemed more interested in their phones than in cleaning my home. Multiple spots were missed, and I had to constantly point out areas that needed attention.
- Extra Charges for Incompetence: To add insult to injury, they charged extra for the time it took to complete the basic cleaning tasks they should have done in the first place.
- Subpar Cleaning Results: Even simple vacuuming was poorly done, leaving behind noticeable dirt and debris.

**Positives**:
- Offer to Rectify: They did offer to send the cleaning staff back to address the missed spots. However, I declined as it would have taken more time, and I had little confidence they would do a thorough job the second time around.

**Overall**:
I cannot recommend Merry Maids' Deep Clean service. It was a complete waste of money and time. A person from the marketplace could have done a far superior job for a fraction of the cost. If you're looking for a thorough and professional deep cleaning, I would advise looking elsewhere.

After moving my parents into care I needed to get a deep clean on the property prior to going on the market. I contacted Merry Maids Stafford. They sent 2 lovely ladies Martha and Laura who did a fabulous job. Very happy with overall service.

Rebecca cleaned for me today. She was warm, plesent and professional. A very good job done.

Not happy with their customer service or cleaning! We paid $180 to have our home cleaned, which included dusting, sweeping, and mopping. Our home is generally clean, but I work out of town for weeks at a time and rely on professional cleaning when I return.

Twice now, their service has failed. The first time, the cleaning was incomplete, and the cleaner left the thermostat set to 68 degrees, running all day. We decided to give them another chance, but the second time was no better. I came home on the same day they "cleaned" to find dust in the window sills and other areas. I had to vacuum our concrete floors myself, and the canister was filled with dust, showing that the cleaning was not done to an acceptable standard.

When I emailed and called to resolve this, I was told repeatedly that their accountant wasn't available and they couldn't confirm if a refund could be issued. They offered to send someone else to clean, but after two failed attempts, I declined. Eventually, they offered a $100 refund, which is unacceptable as I am still out $80 and had to spend time resolving this issue and cleaning the house myself.

I would not recommend this service to anyone.

DOS 07/26/24, Oviedo. Kind of long but i am VERY frustrated that i got charged $565 when i had a personal budget of $350 for a house cleaning. MerryMaids ended up charging me $565 for a house cleaning with a $50 credit after my complaint.
This is an amount that I can not afford at the moment.
I needed a move out clean and I looked around several cleaning service companies and MerryMaids was the most expensive of all of them. Majority of the quotes I received were in $325-$400 range. I found a cleaning service company to do my entire home for $300 on Saturday. MerryMaids ended up calling me Friday morning to offer their services which i declined because i had a company for $300, then they told me they can match that price for 4 hours of cleaning and they could clean that day. At the end of this cleaning I got charge for 3hrs and 45 mins worth of cleaning x2 for each person that came to clean which I overlooked they charge per person. additionally when they told me they needed more time, which ended up being close to 2 hrs, they did not advice me it was going to be another almost $300. For context, my house was completely emptied and by no means in horrible condition. I have videos to prove the condition of my home. When i initially called them they had a house cleaning standard package of $335 and a detailed package at $481 which was over my budget but if I knew i was going to end up paying close to $600 of course i would have selected $481 price which they said doesn’t cover cabinets and appliances which i then would not have accepted their service because the cost was too high for me. the overall house cleaning was acceptable, I still needed to re-do the kitchen floors but in my opinion not a $600 cleaning, which again does hurt my pockets at this moment because it was almost double what my budget was. not a happy customer which i did voice to them and got a $50 credit only.

Hide your jewelry if you hire Merry Maids of Galveston, TX… Initial cleaning was merely ok but there on after, their work dramatically fell off. I received bad service, was overcharged and stolen from. My beautiful Tiffany necklace “mysteriously” disappeared right after one of their cleanings.

Molly from Merry Maids came to do a thorough clean today. Friendly, polite and very high standards. Thank you Merry Maids for making our lives easier after a tough year.

As usual, an excellent job was done by Merry maids. Serena was very nice, courteous and did extraordinary work. Great company. I would highly recommend them.

I am extremely happy with the clean done today, the ladies were lovely, extremely friendly and accommodating, the standard was first rate, I think it has been commented upon before? It’s not a cheap service, but, it’s a good one.
