customer support no more offered
As a longtime customer of Offline Explorer Pro (over 15 years!) I'm deeply disappointed about ceased registered user's support in the following aspects: any reported bug reports or new feature requests or cahnged registration issues, either submitted via website's input form or via 3 different email-addresses simply are ignored. This strange behaviour unfortunately persists during the last 6 months. Its ceo reached me out 6 weeks ago with a short message to fix up this issue but again: no final reply! There a some tedious bugs still persisting in version 8.8, although I reported these bugs already at the time of version 8.7., so they didn't fix these bugs when upgrading the code anyway! Regarding the offered WARC format of OEEnt the product description is misleading: It is not possible to "Archive the downloaded content in any format: WARC" as described. You instead have to directly archive into the WARC format, which differs from this description to be able to convert to WARC format afterwards! Therefore it is not possible to generate a WARC file form within internal browser! And some additional issues I could make a case for ...
