Order never received, no reaction from Customer Support

My order status never changed and the Customer Support never reacted to my messages. I didn‘t receive my order and had to file a fraud case at my bank to hopefully get my money back

Company violating right to return and…

Company violating right to return and refusing to evidence that a returned item is damaged before cutting communication. Formal consumer rights dispute started, noted that many reviews share the same experience.

Summary:

- Refused refund despite legal obligation.
- Failed to provide sufficient proof of damage to product.
- Stopped responding to reasonable requests.
- Pattern of similar behaviour observed online.

Description:

I bought a Dickies jumper from Mezaldy last month. Tried it on and knew immediately it was too small. Placed it immediately in packaging and returned it.

After a delay mezaldy claimed the jumper was worn and has stains (plural). I tried to contest this and ask for proof but they are not an easy company to contact (no phone, WhatsApp is a chat bot, emails slow or no reply). I very seriously doubt I stained the clothing.

Eventually I received 4 images of stains on a jumper as proof. These appear to be 4 pictures of one stain from 4 angles (not multiple stains) and the jumper is not identifiable (looks like maybe even a different colour).

Communication has stopped and I have filed a complaint with ACM ConsuWijzer and may escalate further.

I would never buy from this company again.

I have never negatively reviewed a company online before but I am posting this to warn other consumers and encourage the company to resolve the issue in accordance with Dutch and EU consumer law.

I bought parajumpers jacket (prijs 369…

I bought parajumpers jacket (prijs 369 euro) and after wearing it a few times I noticed that the fabric had discolored in places where it probably came into contact with sunlight. I would like to add that the jacket was used in a normal way and this happened even before the first wash. Unfortunately, washing it did not help at all and the jacket looks really bad. The store refuses to accept my complaint, claiming that this is not covered by their policy. But then, what is covered? This is simply a defect/poor quality of the material, which should never happen with clothing at such a price. I consider this approach towards the customer to be outrageous and I strongly advise avoiding this store.
Edit: The jacket was not exposed to prolonged sunlight. It was used according to its intended purpose and in line with the weather conditions. Nobody wears a jacket in 30°C heat, so the store’s explanation is entirely unjustified.

The discoloration appeared after a very short period of use, which is not normal for clothing – not even for low-quality items. This jacket cost €370, so a customer has every right to expect high quality and resistance of the material to typical usage conditions.

The discoloration appears in irregular patches, which suggests a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear and tear. In my opinion, the issue results from the quality of the fabric or the production process, not from the way the jacket was worn.

The responsibility for this lies with the seller, who sold a defective product. The current position of the store is unacceptable – the customer has been blamed without any valid grounds.

We would like to explain that although polyester is generally colorfast, it remains sensitive to prolonged exposure to sunlight. When a jacket is exposed to UV radiation for a long period of time—for example, by wearing it frequently in bright sunlight or hanging it up in the sun—the color may fade or discolor over time. This is a known effect with synthetic fabrics such as polyester.

Our jackets are manufactured with care and are checked for quality upon delivery. The jacket was therefore delivered in good condition. Unfortunately, discoloration due to usage conditions is not covered by the warranty, as this is not a manufacturing defect.

To prevent discoloration, we recommend treating jackets with a UV-protective fabric spray and avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight as much as possible.

Unfair return policy

I used the sizing tool on mezaldy.com to compare my usual shoe size from another brand, and it recommended a specific size. I followed their advice, but the shoes I received were way too small. I only tried them on once indoors and realized they didn’t fit, so I returned them right away. They were in perfect condition — as clearly shown in the photos I included — but my return was rejected because they claimed the shoes were “frequently used.” That’s completely false. If trying on shoes once means you can’t return them, their return policy is basically useless. Very disappointing experience — I won’t be shopping here again.

Delivery great, service not so much..

I like the speed in delivery, although.. I ordered "regular fit" TH Polo's, unfortunately they did not fit as I hoped since I got delivered "slim fit".
So now upon returing the items, I have to pay EUR 5,50 for delivery and EUR 10,00 for "breaking a seal and cleaning costs.."

Summarized.. fast delivery, bad afterservice..

Doubts about authenticity of shirt

I’ve ordered a Samsoe Samsoe shirt in XXL but the size was more equal to L. Since I have several shirts from this brand, from last season as well as the current season, I know that the fit has not changed. Either it is mislabeled or the shirt is counterfeit. Since I no longer have the labels, they were not prepared to investigate this further. This has seriously damaged my trust in Mezaldy.

Bad service

Carhartt pants labelled W31 was in fact W34. No response to complaint through website form after one week. Mail to kundendienst [at] mezaldy.de is undeliverable. Return shipment (domestic) costs incredible €7.99. Now let's see if they will handle exchange request properly....

Wrote 2 emails to the klantenservice about a issue on the Lyle & Scott item i got deliverd but never got a reply.
Its a good website with a lot a great brands but the customer service sucks.

Don’t order here!!!

Don’t order here!!!

I bought a couple things for my vacation, then I waited one business day. After I didn’t get the package in time so it was a waste of money and also when I got back from vacation the package wasn’t even completely. I ordered 5 things and 1 of them actually arrived. Called/mailed/dmmed a lot but got no response. Bought it on January 1st and still no response.

do not order, this is a scam, they do not respond to the indicated phone number or to the email, I made an order for which I did not receive any information, while the site says that you receive your order 1 day after it was placed, it has already been 3 weeks and I cannot get my money back
