Just avoid 9 weeks for a safety certificate then ignores you the whole time

Where do I start with this mess just be very careful who you pick to do your inspection work as Miles came around to do a landlord electric safety inspection at the property I rent everyone came landlord, gas safety and Miles to do the electrical inspection on the 21/7/25 it’s now 9 weeks later after he had told me the house was safe and no issues at all I asked him twice before he left no issues at all he said nope it’s signed off as safe
I’ve now been told by my landlord that the house needs a full rewire and is unsafe and dangerous so why would the electrical safety engineer stand and lie to my face twice saying it’s safe and passed all its inspections to be told on the 19/8/25 that the house now suddenly needs a full rewire
I have been messaging Miles now for 9 weeks to get the inspection certificate that I should of been left or sent to me the next day just like all the other electrical inspectors I’ve ever had done for years on my dads properties.
But 9 weeks later no inspection report, ignored messages and refuses to actually send the report on the house I live in that he said was safe and my landlord is telling me dangerous and needs a full rewire so and for him not to send me a simple PDF that he will have on file but refuses to send it to me via email or post it through my door so people just be wary who you employ to carry out safety checks as he passed it to then be told it’s failed and in a dangerous state so who’s telling me lies here when he told me as he was leaving it’s passed no issues Yeap it’s all safe but then, refusing over and over and over again to actually send the report over is just shocking how does anyone run a electrical safety inspection company that tells you it’s passed but then refuses to send the inspection report to then be told actually it needs a full rewire so I’m going to get an independent one done tomorrow and let’s see who’s telling lies.
If it’s that dangerous and needs a full rewire why tell me the person living in the house it’s all fine and safe no issues and why would a electrical safety inspector refuse to send me the actual inspection report very very strange and suspicious

My advice avoid at all costs of it takes 9 weeks to get a inspection report to my face he told it’s all safe and passed to be told a month later sorry it now needs a full rewire and is unsafe very very unprofessional experience all around for someone in charge of people’s safety I’ll be reporting the company to there relevant governing body’s aswell as this is beyond a joke Miles I’ve asked and asked you for weeks but I’ll have proper electrician come and do a proper inspection and report that I can actually see and get a copy of not HIDE it from me for some reason….. that id love to know why a inspector doesn’t send the tenant the inspection report strange one!!!! You’ve been warned
