Great service from the team
Great service from the team, every staff member is very approachable and always ready to help. Gem who is the gentleman that has been mainly assisting with my orders has always been very professional and helpful. His knowledge about the products is impeccable. He always receives me with a nice smile and likes to support with knowledge on special offers also shared to help the customer. Finally I’ve had fantastic drivers also delivering my orders, David and Grant were both nice and professional. All I would like to say is that we have a great company with great staff in Orpington.

Refused for exchange/information not accurate
When buying on website information is not accurate and looks hide.
Specially for nonrefundable material.
When buying in store none of the consultants mentioned about specific material refund/return/exchange status before buying/payment process.
The customer can find this information only if the product has been paid in full on the physical printed invoice paper.
When I asked for exchange (materials), I was refused even if the product had been collected 7 days ago.

Cannot believe their driver of the…
Cannot believe their driver of the Tesla car was disgusting enough to call my 68 year old mother extremely disgusting and vile insults at the set of traffic lights in Brentwood. The male was a middle aged man with a thin receding hairline. He spent the journey from Harold Hill to Brentwood flashing his lights and using horrible hand gestures because my mother (who was going the speed limit) wouldn't speed.
It was very sad of the man his age to have music extremely loud like youths (that he certainly was not) but it was turned down at the lights to say (and I have extremely dulled this down due to the foul language) "speed up or move out my way". He then laughed in her face when she was visibility shaken and then he then was speeding off. It was a busy area that a lot of people were clearly disgusted at his behaviour.
As someone with my own successful company I would be disgusted if my staff acted like this and I will make sure all my customers are aware to avoid such a vile company. Hope he is happy that he has scared a old lady to not want to drive again.
His arrogance he has must mean he is a owner of the company so I want everyone to know how horrible the company is. When speaking to them regarding this on the phone they didn't care. Registration plate F14 MGN

Being lied to and accused of being a lier
I been using Mgn for sometime know my company buy property and do renovations on them and as so each property has its own account, we obtain this new property and it need a bit of work on it I ask if I could get first delivery as it was on a bad road and I could only obtain the parking spaces need to off load for a short time the sales offered me a date which was a week away, so on the day I obtained 2 spaces for the lorry to unload I hired 2 men to move the stuff 9:00 I phones and was told lorry’s in yard, 10:00 phoned again and was told lorry was on way from Woodford to load up in there yard, 11:00 phones and was told lorry would get here soon at 12:00 I sent the 2 blokes home phoned up and the man on the phone said I was lieing and I was a very small account and there will be no delivery on first run for me then went on to tell me I should be patient and stop phoning up, the lorry turned up at 13:00 with no where to park, I have told all my trades men to never use Mgn again and have set up a account with b and q.

I have used this company a number of times, instructing them to call before delivery. so that I could point out the precise spot. Everyone who works here and at the Woodford branch is useless, rude, and unwelcoming. How any of you have a job in customer service or facing the public is beyond me. Ran by absolutely incompetent members of staff who are plainly incredibly rude and do not listen to anyone apart from themselves. just a really rude, hostile place to contact.

Inexperienced drivers
Giving one star is because I think you have to tick something. They delivered to my brothers property the driver totally inexperienced moved the lorry with the crane arm out knocked my gable wall all on his neighbours ring door bell. They not being very nice at all and looks like my brother will have to get a solicitor just be careful they are not a kind or professional company

Disappointed service
I ordered bricks and cement at their Romford Office. The delivery date and time was two days after. All good so far. The delivery was coming from their Woodford Branch in the morning of the delivery day. I ordered some additional stuff on the morning of the delivery day. At the time, I was not told that the delivery time would change. I was still told that it would be AM delivery. A bit later when I called to check about the delivery time, I was told that they cannot guarantee AM delivery. The bricklayers came on time to start the job but they didn't have enough bricks to carry on after 11am. I was assured again and again that it would be AM delivery before I made the payment. They let me down.

Poor quality timber & service
Poor quality timber and shocking customer service. Most of the timbers arrived with splits at the end. 2 arrived damaged. Promises of phone calls but nothing. In the end gave up and took £15 refund as they could not replace broken timbers on the same day.

Worst quality timber and zero customer…
Worst quality timber and zero customer services. I have always purchased my building supplies from MGN and never had an issue until now. Purchased £360 worth of timber and 60% of it arrived split and severley twisted. Emailed pics of the damages but got no response. We thought we would be able to salvage what we had however, the splits in some of it were so bad that when you screwed into it it completely broke into two pieces. MGN initially agreed to replace parts of the wood however they did not stick to their word despite being told it had already been cut so now I have to raise a dispute with my card provider to rectify this. Evgenia who is suppose to be the manager agreed to replace the wood on two occasions but sadly it didn't happen as it would seem Eric who isn't a manager, and is extremely rude, has the overall say.
