Hi mica express and the team are very professional and honest we have mentioned them to people that are thinking of selling there houses , better having the test in place if your thinking about moving on and kane is the man for that to get the test done very quick and helpful , you get his report and he also shows the lab results so well happy with that.

I can't recommend Mica Express enough, a very professional company in every way .Got our house tested for defective blocks, nothing was a problem for them took samples repaired sample areas and got a very detailed result back within the estimated time quoted . As a Defective Concrete Block homeowner who had just demolished our house. I was delighted when Kaine proposed a package that would test both the new Concrete Foundations & blocks for all deleterious materials, as we were worried that we could fall victim to same lack of standards in quarries in Ireland (once bitten twice as shy).
After coring being completed (about a week after making the call), the cores (from the foundations and block stockpiles onsite) were readied for dispatch to the Lab.
Kaine was true to form regarding the results timeframe and a timely msg to say all was clear just before Bison slabs were due to be fitted left us feeling such relief.

One week later and a detailed Chartered Engineer & Geologist report was forwarded which scientifically confirmed that our house will be good for generations to come.
A phonecall was then arranged to discuss the report incase anything was unclear and this concludes a great experience for us as customers of MicaExpress.

We asked Kaine to carry out further testing on our home, and to provide additional support for the appeals process in a tight time limit. He delivered everything we hoped for. We needed a Mica test done for a house we were selling in Donegal. After looking around and asking for recommendations we settled on Mica Express, and I am very glad we did.

The company website is very informative and explains what services are available, what each entails, how long it takes and how much it costs. So, having worked out what we thought we needed, we called Kaine and he talked us through everything and confirmed the package we should go for. The process to book the sampling was easy and efficient and the site visit was all done within 2 weeks of our initial contact, which suited our timescale. On the day, Kaine and a colleague arrived as arranged and set about extracting the core samples and patching up where they had been working. So far, so good. They labelled everything and completed their paperwork ensuring everything was logged and properly audited.

The estimated timescale for results was 6-8 weeks and they arrived within that time. The report provided was very comprehensive from the laboratory in London that conducted the analysis and Kaine's associated interpretation, explanation and conclusions. He also made himself available to explain anything that we were unsure about.

Mica Express is definitely that I messaged Kaine at the beginning of last week about a BCA he did the assessment on Friday and we had the report on Monday. Really quick and efficient. Kaine was very professional and knew all about the defective concrete blocks crisis in Donegal from family experience. We got a defective block test completed on a home we are purchasing with another service and we were confused and Worried about the outcome of the lengthy report we were given by them. Required a mica test in January & used Mica Express, everything carried out professionally and from day of sample extraction to results was 4 weeks exactly. Detailed report followed a few days later.

Zero problems. Kaine seems to be very professional. He did a mica and pyrite test on a house I wanted to buy in Donegal. I got a message on whatsapp today asking if I had any questions. A week or so ago, just before I received the final report, he called me to inform me of various things and asked if I had any questions.
