Disappointed

I used to order goods on this website and everything arrived in excellent condition and very quickly. Then they removed Ukraine from their delivery list. I contacted customer support several times with questions about delivery to Ukraine, and they replied that Ukraine was on the list, but when I provided screenshots confirming that it was not, they told me that it would be added again soon. Half a year has passed, and it still hasn't been added. It's very disappointing that you don't care about your customers from Ukraine.

I'm so happy with my purchase

I'm so happy with my purchase! It took some time to send, but living in Norway, I don't mind waiting for good quality and to actually recieve what I ordered!

Everything was as it should I even got a lot of cute hairpins! I'm gonna save up more money and come back, thank you for making me feel so cute with your products! And that you have a lot to choose frome, and that you deliver to Norway without problems! I've never been more happy about any other cosplay or cosplay inspired items ever!

Not shipped and no conact

My daughter ordered a costume in early-mid September, in plenty of time for it to come from the United States to northern Canada. We got a shipping notification in late September and then a cancellation notice in late October. There is no way to order something like this online and have it delivered through the mail and our community would not have something like this available locally. I’m giving this a bad review because there was no contact made to come to an agreement of solution on how to get it here. I’m assuming it had something to do with shipping. You’ve disappointed a teenager who had preplanned the whole thing.

For starters they did not add all of my…

For starters they did not add all of my information to the packing label. Which got my package sent back TWICE. Then it’s a whole process to even get in contact and the only way to do so is to wait for THEM to email you back. They said they would get back to me and haven’t emailed me since the 24th of October. To top it all off I got priority shipping and the protection, all for it to get shipped back??? Very poor customer service.

Too small, used measuring tape and still too small.

Too small, even using their size charts and measuring. Returns have to be shipped to CHINA and you pay the shipping. Ridiculous. Buyer beware.

Bought a Crona wig

Bought a Crona wig. For the price of $30, it is a really good quality. We had concerns about shipping on time for Halloween but it arrived quickly and on time. Only small issue was that the order confirmation didn't show up in my emails after payment. But, I contacted them a week later and they sent me an invoice next day. Excellent communication.

Costume (dress) arrived with a horrible stench. Closest analogy as if a cat has urinated on it. Nobody in a right mind would wear it. Dress is also can’t be washed in any way based on their handling instructions. Avoid!

Unreliable company

I ordered a costume for Halloween. Upon checkout, I have chosen the shipping method: "Halloween Shipping:(We guarantee that you can receive the package before Halloween!)"
I had the order confirmation email stating they will notify me if there's an update regarding my order.
Few weeks passed by and I have received no communication from them.
I have contacted support just for them to tell me that the item will not arrive on time.
Why guarantee something if you can't follow through?
Worst part is, I would have not known any of these if I didn't contact them.
What an unreliable company.

False Advertising/Payment but no item

Not only can I not purchase anything because multiple times now have I been "declined" and the money STILL be taken from my account without my order confirmed.. but it's all false advertising now. It states you can still get your costume before Halloween if you checkout now BUT even when ordering from the "ready to ship" category and all those pop ups "Get it before Halloween!" Once you go to purchase the items.. it'll tell you something like "will ship by Nov 18th" WHAT?!? your not even gonna ship it out until over a month later? No that's actually unacceptable. I've bought from this website in the past and had it be fine. I don't know what happened within the last year but false advertising is against the law. Point blank period.

5 stars well deserved

It was the best choice to order my con costume from miccostumes. The reviews were good, so I picked the item I wanted. While I was placing my order I needed guidance concerning shipment to my country and later on I had some trouble finishing my payment. Help was provided immediately and I thank the miccostumes staff for their excellent customer service. To my pleasant surprise I recieved the package much faster than it was originaly scheduled. The costume looks absolutely amazing! Size is alright (I followed the chart), it might need to adjust a little bit here and there but that's just how it is when I want it to fit perfectly. The price was decent and I even got a little discount as a new member. Hope everyone is as satisfied as I am with their purchase on miccostumes! Happy to recommend. Can't wait to show off on the con, yay!

good and bad points

i have ordered more than 20 cosplays from here.
Good things first: the shipping is pretty cheap and fast. the pre sale was always on time, not like with dokidoki.
quality is better than temu/ alie but not the same as 1/3 delusion (dokidoki SR).
especially for lewd fits, they have many good ones.
they are true to size, or at least more than dokidoki/ uwowo. read the reviews, sometimes you should size up or down.

now the bad part:
terrible quality control and greedy customers service. at least 1/3 of all my orders had issues. im talking missing parts, things sewn on wrong. normally quality control will prevent this.
the customer service is bad, they will offer 5$ for any mistake, even with half the costume missing. you have to insult them and get angry to get a halfway fair solution. i always threaten with paypal and suddenly they could ship the missing parts or refund me what i wanted.
as all cosplay shops no returns, exept if you want to pay half the price of the costume for the shipping back. if something doesnt fit better resell secound hand, this way you get more money back than with return

so overall: id recommend them since other cosplay stores are much worse. but always pay with paypal, dont rely on their customer service

I’ve bought from this company twice

I’ve bought from this company twice. Both times, I have been EXTREMELY satisfied. I’m often surprised by the quality of the costumes. They’re amazing quality for the price you’re paying. I’ve bought simple costumes from them (Aerith Gainsborough and Ciel Phantomhive BOC) and they were such amazing quality. They also ship out pretty fast. I love this site/app. The ONLY downside I’ve experienced is that there’s almost no wiggle room in the chest area. So beware of that ! Otherwise, it’s all amazing.
