Crooks

Crooks. Once they receive your money, it's over. No goods and no responses. I don't understand why they are still operating. Notify their bank of their fraud.

SCAMMER - DO NOT BUY FROM MICRO-SEMICONDUCTOR.COM

It appears that "Andy" preys on companies that are looking for obsolete, discontinued parts not offered by the OEM's anymore. The part I was looking for was recently discontinued by the manufacturer back in 2022. After a google search of the part it brought me to his fraudulent website. At the time his website look legit. I sent "Andy" a request for quote and he immediately responded with a quotation. I asked "Andy" to send me pictures of the product, but all he provided me with was the manufacturers spec sheet. RED FLAG!! Unfortunately, I did not recognize this until after I submitted my purchase order. Once he received my purchase order, he responded that I needed to wire him the money. This is when I immediately suspected that this was a scam. He almost stole $6200 USD from my company. Went online to read reviews about his company. Thank you all for writing your reviews and warning others like me to proceed with caution. Without your help, we too would have been victims of his scam.

Be aware of the red flags scammers use to try and trick you in to thinking they are legit, such as discounted pricing, wire transfers/payment up front. Or if you ask them to send pictures of the part you are trying to procure, and they cannot provide pictures, but instead, just send you the manufacturers spec sheet of the part that anyone can download off the internet (especially discontinued or obsolete parts). Use your gut feeling, if it's "too good to be true", typically, that is the case. Another RED FLAG is, if you notice broken English and misspelled words in their email. Below is his email correspondence asking that I wire him the money:

Dear Daniel,

Thanks for your respond.
Sorry we currently do not accept payment by credit card/paypal, only accept bank transfer.
About the payment term, because this is our first cooperation, according to our company rule, we have to be T/T in advance.
Is this ok for you?

I am looking forward to your respond. Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Andy Lee

Looks like he stays one step ahead of the law by changing bank accounts. His most recent bank info is listed below:

Bank Name: CITIBANK (HONG KONG) LIMITED
Bank Address: Citi Tower, One Bay East, 83 Hoi Bun Rd, Kwun Tong, Hong Kong
Bank Swift Code: CITIHKAXXXX
Account Number (USD): 250-390-42034272
Account Number (HKD): 250-390-42034264
Company Name: CHANG-YU INDUSTRY CO., LIMITED
Beneficiary Address: RM 1902 EASEY COMM BLDG 253-261 HENNESSY RD WANCHAI HONG KONG

Once I was on to him, I told him I would issue a change order and take every part that I was looking for and needed a revised quotation...he responded and wanted over $29k, but offered free delivery on the order (what a guy!). I copied my review along with previous reviews from others that posted earlier, and sent it to him, titled "Change Order". Not that this will stop this douchbag from trying to scam others, I just wanted to him to get his hopes up that he had a $29k order pending and play a little head game with this Mother F'r.

Hopefully, these reviews will help others not to fall for "Andy Lee's" scam. Or whoever Andy Lee really is. I would love to meet him in person someday...Would be his last day of scamming and stealing from anyone else!

DO NOT BUY FROM MICRO-SEMICONDUCTOR.COM...ANDY LEE IS A LOWLIFE MOTHER F'R PREYING ON THE INNOCENT!!!!!!!

They are 100% a scam

They are 100% a scam. We caught him lying about having a part from Analog Devices, and even after he was caught, he suggested that we send him $500 just to test the part anyway.
I talked to another person in our company and Andy tried to scam him also.

Here is how to file a police report with HK Police!

Got scammed too but I went to my bank (Bank of America) for the wire transfer and filed a fraud/ scam claim and they are working to recover my funds BUT I also filed a police report with the Hong Kong Cybercrime group at this address: Police.gov.hk
Then go to the e-Report Centre and choose Report Technology crime and deception. It is a little lengthy but DO IT and attach your P.I. and Bank Wire documents. Hopefully they put Andy and his fake website out of business and most banks of high caliber will get your money back AND we will hang this JERK.

SCAMMER ALERT - do not buy from Andy Lee

Like other reviewers, we too got scammed by this FAKE business. We wired the money and then no word from Andy Lee anymore. I then found out through the reviews here, that he is a scammer. Today we received the money back from his bank in Hong Kong. Andy Lee is now obviously under investigation by his bank. Today Andy Lee emailed stating that we shouldn't wire the money to that account, but that we need to send it to a different bank account he has. Well...Andy...Fool us once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on us""....So NO, we learned our lesson to double check online businesses we order from.

This is the email he sent today:

"Please stop the payment.
Because our bank randomly selected bank accounts for review.
Our company account is selected and requires submission of information and information for review.
It is currently not possible to receive bank transfers. This may take a month to recover.
We also have a sister company's bank account that accepts bank transfers.
Is this ok for you? if ok then i will send you the new proforma invoice.
Please confirm receipt of my email.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause".

PEOPLE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY! Do NOT wire money!
