Exceptional

I recently purchased a used car from Midland Motorhouse in Hinckley, and the entire experience was outstanding—far better than I've had at many bigger dealerships. From the initial enquiry right through to aftersales support, the team demonstrated genuine care and professionalism.

The sales process was straightforward and easy, with no hidden surprises or complicated paperwork. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt fully informed at every step without any rush or confusion.

Mike, who handled the sale, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and applied absolutely no pressure whatsoever. He let me take my time, answered all my questions honestly, and made the whole buying experience relaxed and enjoyable. It's rare to find a salesperson who genuinely puts the customer first like that.

Mark was brilliant with communication throughout. He was very responsive to my emails, and replied promptly. That level of transparency really built trust and made me feel valued as a customer.

After taking delivery, I ran into an issue that needed attention. The warranty company wasn't able to help directly, but the team at Midland Motorhouse stepped up impressively. They sorted the problem entirely in-house without hesitation, showing real commitment to looking after their customers post-sale. Dale, in particular, managed my issue with genuine urgency and clear, straightforward communication every step of the way. He kept me in the loop, explained what was happening, and resolved it efficiently—no excuses, just action. It's reassuring to know they're there when you need them.

Midland Motorhouse hasn't just sold me my current car—they've earned my loyalty for the next one too. I'll definitely be going back when it's time for my next purchase. If you're looking for a reliable independent dealer with top-notch customer service, friendly staff, and a real willingness to go the extra mile, I highly recommend them. Thanks again to Mike, Mark, Dale, and the whole team—you've set a high standard!

Went above and beyond to ensure I was happy

The competitive price for my car that this car dealer was offering, was the first thing that caught my eye. I never knew about the existence of this company, until their cars popped up on autotrader. I have since heard of numerous individuals within my circles that have purchased motors from midland motorhouse, and have had nothing but great experiences with their cars.
I was extremely excited about purchasing my car from them, but there was a part on the car that I wasn't too happy about. I asked for a discount on the price, without first realising they do not haggle or compromise on price. I completely understand why - because their cars are pretty immaculate - however I wasn't truly happy buying the car with this faulty part. (I must add, the part wasn't broke, it just wasn't up to scratch for me to part with my money.)
Midland declined to lower the price, however, they did replace the part for me as quickly as they could. They were very communicative throughout the whole time my car was being fixed and rang me whenever there was an update on the progress.
One of the owners dealt with me personally for many hours, despite how busy I'm sure he must have been. He understood I needed the car ASAP and did all he could to get the vehicle back from the mechanics garage as to me as quickly as possible.
I've also had multiple meetings with Michael, the salesman, and it's been a pleasure every time. He was not pushy and didn't try and sales tactics or mind games with me about the cars he was offering. He spoke to me and answered any and all questions I had, but also left me alone to looks around the car myself without hovering over and distracting me from my inspections. Probably the best car salesman I've ever dealt with.
All in all, a very good experience with midland motorhouse, and I definitely plan to call them/look through their catalogue of cars in the future when I'm in the market for another one.
10/10, happy customer!

Beware - Warranty scam!

Car purchased with 12 month AA warranty. When the car failed its MOT after 9 months and I tried to claim on the warranty, I was told by the AA it had never been registered. Midland then registered the warranty when challenged, but to a lower level package than I was originally told. Surprise, surprise…..the £520 repair I need isn’t covered under the terms of the lower level warranty so I’m left to pay. Avoid this company.

Lying about vehicle condition for sales

Thought I had a car for a good deal, ofc it ended up being too good to be true. Got told there was no issues on the car, AA have checked it only to find out from the get go the gearbox was leaking, the horn stopped working (with fresh MOT) and also a faulty oxygen sensor. Despite having a so called "AA warranty" I have had to resort to paying out of pocket for their lies. After a few phone calls to get this resolved of being told the manager isn't here yet, eventually got ghosted and they never got back to me. I would suggest avoiding.

Sold me a broken car and non responsive

Sold me a faulty car and non responsive on getting a refund. Car broke down first time I drove it, v5c logbook was incorrect so couldn't tax myself or register in my name and warranty never received.

Avoid at all costs

Do not waste your money here. Completely untrustworthy and unprofessional. Amongst other things they:
🚩couldn’t / wouldn’t provide evidence of repairs made to resolve a failed MOT
🚩do not answer calls, emails or texts unless it’s on their terms
🚩offered to return my deposit, lied saying they had done so and now refuse to do so almost 10 days later
🚩threatened to take things to a lawyer if I posted a negative review.

Honestly giving a 1 star is polite

Honestly giving a 1 star is polite. Avoid at all costs. I paid my deposit and they've used excuse after excuse, ignored calls, avoided confrontation, hung up on me, made us miss a holiday, ignored formal complaints and messages and promised delivery of the vehicle about 12 times over the last 3 weeks. I still dont have the car and they wont call back. Promised call backs over and over when you do get through and when they do finally pick up after a few days they fob it off you still get no call back. On last day delivery was booked in for i got a call saying engine management light was on so couldnt deliver, was told the car is fixed and delivery is being sorted 6 days ago and still no car. Apauling customer services. Contacted citizens advice.

I bought a Mercedes from these people…

I bought a Mercedes from these people and within 30 days the gear box failed failed whist on the slip road of the M4 motorway. In accordance with Consumer Protection, they are supposed to give me my money back. This of course did not happen. No matter how many times I rang and emailed, they are not interested and stopped answering my calls. They never replied to my emails and have totally cut me off. They have treated me in an appalling way and I now have to take legal action.
Take my advice do not go anywhere near them.

Liars

Sold my daughter a mini, wasn't cleaned like promised, no green slip given, told us it was taxed when it wasn't, then told us again it was taxed and they would send the receipt - they didn't, I called in today and they emailed me a application confirmation - which when I checked with DVLA is not for the car in question. Intentionally lied to and now we have a car that isn't taxed and we cant use, we also have not log book -yet or the AA warranty.

BE CAREFUL OF THIS GARAGE

Leicester autohaus is an extremely unprofessional garage that should be avoided at all costs. Their communication is absolutely abysmal—they ignore calls, dodge questions, and avoid any confrontation when caught providing misleading information.
I was given false details about the vehicle's service history and overall condition, only to discover later that I had been blatantly lied to. I know this isn’t the first time they have lied about history of cars.
On top of that, the garage itself was in a state, which should have been my first red flag.
What’s even worse is their unethical approach to handling criticism. Instead of addressing legitimate concerns, they resort to paying people to remove or counteract bad reviews. This is beyond unprofessional—it’s deceptive.
If you’re considering doing business with them, be extremely careful.

Vauxhall Astra - Great customer service

Bought a vauxhall astra from here, beautiful car not a scratch on it.
Drove away and had a mechanical problem, Dale & Khalid made sure it was dealt with swiftly, picking up the car, repairing it with genuine Vauxhall bits with all the paperwork included, then dropping the car off for us (even filled up the tank).
Can't recommend these guys enough, fantastic customer service, no messing about, cheers guys

*****Top quality service , felt like I'd known these guys for years due to hospitality I received on arrival having travelled from central Scotland to purchase a van they had which looked to be the cleanest and best priced nationally and turned out to be better condition than expected , faultless transaction hassle free *****👌
