Did not arrive on the agreed date
Did not arrive on the agreed date, telephoned and agreed another, did not turn up then either. 3 days later we are still waiting.
Has now arrived and we are now happy. Delays do happen but keeping in contact with us would have saved all the waiting around

I do completely understand, that as a company our communication with you when we had a few delays after the bank holiday and being inundated with orders was unacceptable and for this I do apologise. I am fully aware that a simple phone call would have rectified this and again I am sorry.
I am so glad you are happy after finally receiving your delivery and I hope you will use our services again in the future and allow us to show you that this was simple a one off issue, although once is to much.
We pride ourselves on customer service, amazing products and recommendations as well as reviews.
I must thank you though, as without negative reviews when things are not as perfect as expected, we wouldn’t be able to know where we need to improve as a business.

This is my second year ordering a bulk bag of compost for my allotment and Simon’s customer service has been faultless both times. He has delivered to exactly where I need the compost despite its slightly awkward location and my own limited availability during the working week with no issues raised. Best Compost I Have Brought So Far
I normally buy 60 too 100 bags of compost a year for a wide range of vegetables and plants, i perther separate bags instead of bulk bags because I have to carry every bag though my house to get to my garden, so I sent Simon a message making sure it was in separate bags, within seconds i had a reply, so i quickly brought 30 bags of Midlands compost to see what it was like, I was very impressed with the quality of compost that was delivered, I will be buying another 60 bags from midlands compost because of the service they have provided me with.
I have had a very bad experience with over company's not replying or delivering something that I have to blend to make it usable for vegetables one bulk bag I brought / received was full of rubbish, broken glass, plastic and even a shoe, I told the company and they told me on the phone their horticultural specialist will sort me out a new bag, long story short it was worse than the first one with even more glass in.
From now on I will only buy midlands compost because of the service they provide and the compost is very nice ash content is a little high but it is the best compost I have received so far.

Great product and excellent service
This is the second year that I have used Midland Compost, I have no complaints. It is exactly what you would like from a local gardening service, the compost is high quality and better value than even some retail shops. So it is perfect even for small gardens who don't have a lot of money to spend on compost. The service is fast and the staff are friendly.

Fantastic service and quality product
Midlands Compost provided a top service, after I was let down by another national company. I called and spoke directly to Simon, the company owner, who was polite, clear in his explanation of processing the order. I placed the order on Wed and the bulk bag was delivered by Friday the same week. The compost is very good quality - black, crumbly and still steaming - and there is a very customer-friendly arrangement with the bulk bag itself ie if customer can provide via a swap on the day, the is a reduction in the overall price. Cannot recommend enough, will definitely be using again, this year if necessary as the garden plot grows!

It took us a long while to find a compost we would be happy to sell, so many composts both on the open market and direct from the suppliers have either loads of lumps, full or waste or generally a poor quality, we have a product that we are certainly proud to sell and can do with perfect confidence. Also being screened to 10mm and not the normal 20mm makes the compost so much finer than any competitor, including the ’big names' We also only bag up when orders are received. so they are stored piled on top of each other causing clumping and making using this then a harder job for the customers.
The Manure again took as a while to find a product we could sell, often we would go to farms and find even good well rotted manure covered in weeds, we are again fortunate to have another product that we are 100% confidence in selling this to our customers.
