Roof failed after 2 years due to bad installation, workshop full of mould
Ordered a 22x12 foot workshop which was installed onto a concrete base in November 2021. Fast forward to November 2023 and I could see damp on the internal lining at both ends, but hoped it was nothing major. Left the country for a few months and came back in February 2024 to find pools of water in the internal lining at *both* ends of the workshop, with mould growing across the width of multiple internal support beams. The felt does not appear cracked, but it was installed with tacks between 10 and 12 inches apart, without any sealant either. Without being properly secured down, predictably over time this has resulted in the wind lifting the felt, loosening the tacks and pulling out completely, making gaps between tacks 2 feet in places. Unfortunately, they will not help with this as they say the felt is guaranteed for 1 year, but in reality it is due to bad installation.
