Scam brokers that will subcontract your moves to the lowest of the lowest bidders

This is a brokerage company that does not tell you they subcontract to the lowest bidders on the packing end and the unloading end. We had so much minor and some fairly major damage to our belongings that we asked to make a damage claim. I was given a Moving Claims link to interact with and all that process ended up with "our database does not recognize the name of the moving company you have provided/entered." That was using the name of the company on my bill of lading (which was not properly filled up by the loaders who were pressuring my wife so sign at the bottom without full coverage) and the DOT license number. Upon research of the DOT license number, I found a different company name for that mover at the same corporate address. I provided that to the Moving Claims site and they came back with the same garbage. PAY MORE WITH A COMPANY THAT WILL ACTUALLY DO THE WORK and not lie to you pretending they are the company doing the move.

It’s a scam

It’s a scam. Do not believe the positive reviews. Honest to god review is this company is a scam. They will not return my deposit of $768 and their “policy” of 72 hours is not reflective of the real times we are in. Plans change and moves get canceled yet this company keeps the full deposit for no damn reason and not ever doing a thing. That is how they are staying in business is by scamming people of their money and not ever refunding it.

Scam. Do not use.

Like the other review said this is a scam. If you're not sure whether to believe the reviews just try reaching out to their customer service, sales, or any contact you're given. Once you pay the deposit no one will answer your calls.

I received a quote for about $2000, they took my inventory and everything. Once the movers showed up they quoted me for $5000 saying the cubic sqft estimate was WAY off. I had to scramble and find a uhaul to do the out of state move on my own.

I've been calling for my refund to be returned but no one answers. If you're still thinking of trying it out, don't pay with Zelle.

Please do not use this company

Please do not use this company. They make false promises then show up on the date of your move to surprise you with a ton of extra fees or things they cannot fulfill. If you move out of state and need your things same or next day (of course if reasonable driving distance) they will tell you they can do that and that is a lie. The moving company they hire out had an unbelievably rude man working for them. That alone was enough for me to never hire this company or suggest it to anyone again.

My veteran husband and I are two…

My veteran husband and I are two seniors. We sold our house in Ohio and decided to move to SC. Having never travelled across the states within the US, we checked google for good reports about moving companies. Unfortunately, Midnationalmoving.inc was one of them! My husband and I are still extremely shocked by what this company did to us! We don’t know how others are writing good reviews about this company but as far as my husband and I are concerned, this company is not to be trusted at all. So from the word go, they are not telling the truth. Those guys are brokers and no movers and this is not the only tragedy! The Chris guy who chatted with us first was helpful. We were lured by his politeness while he convinced us that they themselves were the movers. He quoted a 4500$ for our 3 bedrooms house to ship from Ohio to SC. He also confirmed that the first 45 days storage would be free, followed by a 100$ Monthly charge, should we wish to keep our stuff longer in their storage. At that point, we had paid them 1348$ to book their services while my husband and I believed that their email contract and receipt were honorably binding. We were wrong! Midnational moving was trapping us! They sent 3 young adolescents who were supposed to be movers from a company called “11Even movers&storage”, located in Rockaway, New Jersey”. It’s so bizarre that their “ movers” happen to be always located in NJ! Those boys were acting very strangely and the driver, a 20 years old, was very nervous mainly when I happened to be around. Over the previous 3 months,we had double and triple packed 75 boxes, in heavy papers then bubble separators as in that cargo, i had a load of antiquities that were left for me by my late grandparents and late parents. So On that first day, The “ movers” loaded a quarter of that huge truck and pretended that it was too full. The main driver said that it was not good for the stuff to be piled-up and that it should be unloaded in the storage before reloading the rest. That was a huge lie as the truck was hardly loaded in the front! Little did we know what they were really doing once they left our house! Next day, and despite our suspicions, we bought them pizza and coke for their lunch and once they finished filling the truck, the driver turns around and asks for $4043 to be paid on the spot. We were confused as we were told by Midnational that we will be paying 4500$ minus the 1348$ as our total fee for shipping our load. We tipped them generously and issued the check then asked them about their storage location. They refused to tell us where it was because they confirmed that it was their policy! Although on that contract which the driver intentionally scribbled, the company’s address was in NJ, he kept refusing to tell us where they will store our stuff! It was surreal as we were giving our whole past and home to total strangers who were refusing to tell us where they will place them. And to top it up, the driver told us that we should pay them another 4043$ should we really want our stuff to be delivered back to us! Now, At that point, he called his company and a woman answered to tell me not to worry and that our load will be placed in a climate controlled storage but still did not want to reveal where that storage will be! we felt seriously trapped by our own stupid error. Following that horrible mistake, we kept phoning that woman and the Midnational to ask for our stuff to be delivered to a storage in SC. No one was answering. The guy who did the deal disappeared. Sales and customer services were answered by the one woman who was kind over the phone but could do nothing except listen to my complaint. I believe she was and is used as a decoy to their operations. 3 weeks during which my husband and I left emails and phone messages to the guy who did the deal with us. No answer. 3 weeks asking for our stuff. Nothing was happening and that was really fishy. Till we decided to write to the BBB and on the same night, the “ 11Even Movers & Storage” movers got in touch with us. They were bringing our stuff back! We then thought that we can finally breathe till we saw the disaster with our own eyes! All the boxes they brought back were smashed and crushed. Most were opened, torn and stolen. The 10 boxes containing my antiquities were missing. Some of My personal inheritance from ornaments, crystals, plates, silver, souvenirs backdate to circa 300 years old that carry a huge sentimental value for me are gone! Mirrors were smashed. Cherry Wooden China cupboards were scratched all over and their glass shelves were broken into smitherines. All of our winter clothings were gone. All of our coats, including real mink, parkas, jackets, suits, personal belongings. Gone! Not to forget the China, the utensils. Beds were dismantled beyond repairs. Dining room Chairs were broken. Those people are NOT Movers!

MidNational can't contact their movers…

MidNational can't contact their movers to provide any updates . . . even after 3 weeks!! No communication from them (we have to call daily for updates--there aren't any). They have no ideas where our things are. Really question validity of all the 5 stars reviews because our current experience is not even worth 1 star.

Very nice!

I was in a challenging situation, trying to look for a great move. Suddenly I found Mid national movers on yelp with a great rating and good reviews. I booked my move with them, and on move day, they sent me the good movers for moving, and the guys who came were so professional and courteous. I just want to thank you, guys.
