3 Years And Counting!

I've been using Mighty Networks for 3 years now and have loved the journey. The ability to customize my community for my particular needs makes this such a great tool to have. It's just a lot easier to customize my community to work well for me and my community members.

I love the ability to not only build out my community but to add course content in the same place. This keeps my members from having to have multiple platforms to work with.

Anyone looking to build a paid online community. I highly recommend Mighty Networks.

I've been building and administering…

I've been building and administering niche market social networks for over 20 years and I don't get the buzz about Mighty Networks at all. I tried Mighty Bell back in the day and was unimpressed as I am now with the current Mighty Networks product. The UX is horrible and akin to driving a semi with no power steering or brakes. Very difficult to navigate and with the community I currently belong to it's a huge dud as far as user engagement and I believe that stems from the clunky software.

I'd give it 0 stars if I could. It was not user-friendly. It was very difficult to find information in this platform. I had joined an equestrian coaching club. It was great with the original platform, but then the coach moved us to MN. I was very frustrated with trying to use this platform, hardly any clear categories for anything, difficult to find where to post, etc. (Even this review won't let me put in the actual dates I was trying to MN).

My time over the last few months with Mighty Networks has taught me a lot. Building a community and developing your own design can be tricky, but if you are patient you can learn so much and have something to be proud of. Their team and customer support will help you when you need it. It's great to get involved with their team and network with questions. They have done it already and have the scoop on how to be successful. Fadi was really helpful getting me through some of the start up phases. It's nice to feel like a part of a growing team.

Twice over happy Host

I've created two communities on Mighty Networks and the set up and moderation process couldn't be easier. However, anytime I came across a technical issue, the Mighty Networks customer support team was super helpful and fast in getting me the answers I needed.

I did a ton of research on other platforms, and Mighty was far and away the best option (and continues to be.)

I have been hosting an online community with Mighty Networks since 2017, and continue to be delighted with their approach to updating and evolving the platform and member experience. We have grown together, and the Mighty Networks team and product have been responsive and supportive all along the way. As the business and community has grown and shifted through the years, so has the platform - and with the latest updates rolled out at the end of 2022, I see that the possibilities are endless for serving our members in new ways.

Mighty Pro is the way to go!

Mighty Networks was instrumental in taking our business to the next level. With the team's assistance, we successfully transitioned our community of 7K members off of Facebook, and because of all of Mighty's available features (like Spaces & Courses), we were able to deliver our 10-month wellness program exclusively through their platform. As a Pro Host, we've always felt supported and heard. Our questions and concerns were dealt with in a timely matter. Even our ideas were documented and sometimes rolled out in new updates! They also have a wealth of knowledge that they generously share. Highly recommend.

Makes it easy to run my WFH business

I've been using Mighty Networks for years and find it to be an even better product after the Spaces update. It's just a lot easier to customize my community to work well for me and my community members.

And they have the most comprehensive training program to help you be successful with the product that I've ever experienced, along with a very active online support community. They really do want to help you build a profitable business.

Anyone looking to build a paid online community should definitely take a look at Mighty Networks.

The new Mighty Networks design (Spaces)…

The new Mighty Networks design (Spaces) is truly excellent. It gives me so many options for how I structure sub communities around courses. which are my focus right now. Gone are the complaints of "oh it's so confusing" - I'm very happy to have moved over from Circle.

Great Community Experience

I've been a host on Mighty Networks since 2021, and I've experienced it to be one of the best community platforms out there. Their latest update with Spaces and multiple people Live Streaming has really added to the experience of my community members. And they keep the updates coming! One of my favorite things about Mighty is how helpful and accessible the MN Team is. They answer questions, offer workshopping sessions, and are committed to supporting hosts (and members) to have a great experience. They are also transparent about how they do their pricing and build out their offers. It's so refreshing to be a part of a platform that does it differently.

Loving the updates on Mighty

Spaces is Intuitive, the Knitters are loving it

My community of gen z knitters finds their new update to spaces super intuitive and easy to navigate. I did not need to even communicate much about the transition to spaces because of the great UX. And when I do have a question the host help button is easy for me to find. I wish it were easier to have the app be more white label and I need to work on my own upselling strategy, but thats my only complaint. Otherwise, love it!

This is a premium service offering

I've been on the platform since late 2019. As my business has continued to evolve, I noticed that Mighty has become the backbone of it.

The functionality of the platform, as well as it being a mobile-first design, gives me a ton of flexibility to serve my clients in the way they best need to access me.

As I look at the roadmap for the future, they're clearly focusing on the right things and even giving me a look around the corner at where I will need to shift my attention.

I highly recommend this platform, the people behind it, and the resources they provide their users.

Operates in poor faith

I had subscribed and paid to a premium service 1 year ago. I never ended up using my netwrok at all as I found the system clunky and hard to set up. I recently downgraded my account so that I wouldn't be charged a new annual fee (almost $1200 CAD). Unfortunately, I missed the renewal date and was charged again.

I contacted them to ask for a refund as I did not intend to use the service nor had I used the service all the previous year. Cx reply was simply that they wouldn't offer a refund.

Instead of offering an alternative or somewhat of a reasonable customer facing solution, they just flatly refused. I feel this is operating in bad faith and with priority over retaining fees from members who they know will not use their services.

Can we have our old Mighty Network back?

The old MN's platform was fantastic for our communities needs, but since the new "update", our entire community functionaility is gone overnight, our structure deleted without consultation, approval or transition, and our end-user experience ruined. We are extremely disappointed, because we loved our Topics forum, and Group networks, and how our old community looked and felt, and now its gone. Yes, we were advised an "update" would happen but were advised it would be option, which you could choose for improved funcationaility, but instead the new update is a complete network overhaul which was forced upon us, and MN is now an entirely new piece of software which doesn't suit our communities needs anywhere near as well as it once did

Lost hours of content overnight

I built my mighty network in 2020. Since they updated the whole system the features built into my network changed globally causing the whole environment to be hard to search for things. I then tried upgrading from community to business plan and didn't like it. When I switched back it made all the content I created during the trial in accessible. I'm finding a new community platform ASAP. This is a terrible and scammy business practice and not taking concerns of their customer in to consideration.

Love this update!

They just overhauled their user experience and while it was a big change I have to say my members are loving the new navigation. I was super nervous but was able to spend time in their customer community leading up to the switch so had a lot of support from them in navigating it. I like the ability to have my courses and my community in one place and I can link out to my website easily.

Avoid MN at all costs.

I've been on MN since 2020 and almost 3 years of hard work later, I've grown a community, against the odds. That's the good news. MN can do horrible business with me and get away with it because I can't afford to leave. The help search is worthless, trying to get an answer from a human is hard to find, then there is a long wait, then they are no help. The new format is a disaster. My members are frustrated and unhappy, I can't help them. My site looks like trash, while MN gloats about being global. I think they have no idea what community means. Don't do business with them, they will make you look like a fool to your members. The canned fake sympathy is ridiculous. If I could give negative stars I would.

Easier for those starting from scratch

Previously I posted two stars because it was hard for me to find the help I needed. I finally dug through the Mighty Community to find the answer I was looking for. (Not just my Topics disappeared, but my ability to create articles and to brand my topics with images)

It's still a decent platform but a lot of extra work and stress has been created for hosts during this transition and I think they are discovering the unique ways that hosts use this platform only now.

If you are just entering now, it may be easier to start from scratch, but for some "legacy" users it has been a bit of a nightmare, for others more so than myself. The transition certainly wasn't seamless.
