I was recommended to visit for my VW Passat Cc as my exhaust tip was rotten I were booked in and welcomed by reception and Nathan and Danny showed me a range of tips and what they planned to do installing it. I couldn't recommend a better garage for loyalty and passion they have in there work I was over the moon and prices was very fair , happily Id send anyone over there for a professional experience Well Done Staff Amazing 👍

Over a week ago, I got in touch with Jay after a very helpful email consultation about replacing my old, rattling factory exhaust system.

While the build quality was excellent, I found it a bit too loud for daily driving with the kids. Jay didn’t hesitate to invite me back to take another look and find a better solution.

At the follow-up appointment, the whole experience was amazing. Lynn at reception was warm and welcoming — my kids were given small gifts and looked after with real care. Jay and Nathan then re-inspected the car and installed a new custom mid-box section with a more refined silencer.

The result is perfect: the car still sounds deep and sporty, but it’s now balanced and more subtle in lower revs. It only opens up at higher RPMs — exactly what I wanted. Throttle response also feels even better.

Massive thanks to Jay (owner), Nathan (technician), and Lynn (front of house). They listened, understood, and delivered a top-quality result with brilliant service from start to finish. Highly recommended.

If you don’t mind wasting your money then these guys are for you they will cut the flange off you cat and weld new pipe directly to it so when if cat needs taking off you need to pay again and when you email jay he just completely ignores you they are worse then a back street garage get your exhaust done somewhere else

My second time using MIJ and once again superb experience the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble and awesome quality I had both flexi pipes replaced fantastic service thankyou 😊

I had a back box delete done on my Mercedes A180 and they did a very good job, they instructed me on what’s best for my car and let me choose how I wanted the exhaust. I left them the car and went shopping and it was done in hour and a half.. would recommend to anyone if they need an exhaust doing.

I booked in my RAV 4 diesel in for a cat back pipe and system .
Once exhaust was cut off I was invited too listen how it sounds and decide which sound I would like ie louder or damper noise for final custom stainless steel pipe to be made and fitted !!
They done a superb job with a double outlet fitted at rear !
Price was superb , half the price of my local stainless pipe exhaust company.
Highly recommended and will always use them from now on !!

Visited MIJ based on reading other good reviews and found that the service was a true reflection on the Trustpilot testimonials. Had a twin tip exhaust fitted/welded and a re-adjustment with no hassle at all. Great communication and advice from Nathan.

Went in for a replacement catalytic converter on my Lexus GS450h - got offered a good price and after agreeing was professionally fitted in 90 minutes. Fast and friendly service with good communication throughout.

I saw MIJ on google and I booked an appointment with them and traveled all the way from Luton to walsall .they did a brilliant job and I enjoyed driving back to Luton without no concern.those guys are very professional they made sure they found my exhaust and fixed it.I was happy at the end and it worth the travel.thanks to Jay and the other young guyz and the guy that attended to me

Travelled from London to MIJ for a custom rear section made up for my Peugeot 208!
I was invited into the shop to pick out my own preference in sound and look, the brilliant technicians and mechanic adjusted and cut out my bumper to make the new tips sit factory flush!
The car sounds absolutely fantastic and exactly how I wanted it to. Nothing too loud, but adds more status and a nice deeper roar when accelerating. It's safe to say, it even feels more responsive, even if it's that tiny bit. Clearly the high-flow rear sections do have some effect on the car's performance which is nice, even if it's a small amount!

The staff there were very informative and friendly, allowing me to see and check everything that they've done before it was taken off the ramp. The welds, the hangers, the pipes and the sound of course.

Overall, it was a brilliant, inclusive and fun experience Absolutely fantastic job gentlemen, much appreciated and highly recommend!

Came all the way from Cornwall for my custom-fitted quad exhaust for my BMW 225d. From the original quote by Jay to the handover once work completed I was very impressed with MIJ and their employees. Very happy with the system on my 240 mile drive home and it performs exactly as I was told it would. Looks great, sounds better than it did and car seems more responsive on initial pick up. Also got better mpg on journey home though difficult to quantify reasons as I had a slower return journey. Thanks Jay, and well done for managing with your partner an excellent team of employees.

These guys were excellent, polite and professional throughout. I had a sporty, cat back stainless steel system fitted to my Toyota Yaris T Sport and it is fantastic. The workmanship is spot on and it sounds amazing and not too loud. I would recommend them based on my experience.

I Was quoted a certain price for a full exhaust system. The MIJ staff checked the pictures of my exhaust online to give an accurate quotation. So i took a day off work and drove down from Manchester. When i arrived , they told me the system would cost £600 more then initially quoted!! No apologies or anything from the owner. Shocking customer service. Wasted day off from work, wasted time and fuel.

If you don’t want your parts made to the size you asked for this is the seller for you. They will confirm I can make items to your size and then change it to suit them. you also receive an argumentative seller if you ask them to resolve the issue. You have been warned don’t waste your time with this.

Always gone out of their way to help me. I won't go anywhere else.

Drove up to MIJ for a cat back exhaust system, asked for polished tips but I was given burnt tips. The back box developed a rattle and was replaced upon another visit to MIJ. However the shoddiness of the job is pathetic, the welds were blowing and frankly I was fed up. What annoyed me more is when you see they post about another customers car as the quality is good but on my car it was a quick 5min rush job! Will never be using them again
