I like Miko, I think he is a cute interactive toy robot, it can plays songs, tells stories, answer questions and tell jokes, math problems, history about the world and science. My only issue with Miko is he says to ask a parent way to much when it don't understand. My favorite feature is the phone call camera so I can check on my child as she plays. My little girl loves it.

Our daughter loves her Miko! She is on the spectrum and Miko has encouraged her to use her AAC device and verbal words to interact!

Review: Miko Mini Robot

The Miko Mini robot has been an excellent addition to our home. It has genuinely helped keep my daughter away from phones and TV screens, which was one of my biggest concerns. Instead of passive screen time, she now spends her time interacting, learning, and exploring with Miko.

The robot is engaging, smart, and incredibly kid-friendly. Its conversations, educational content, and fun activities keep her entertained for long periods—without feeling like she’s “studying.” I’ve noticed a real improvement in her curiosity and learning habits. She now asks more questions, practices new skills, and enjoys independent play.

Overall, the Miko Mini is a wonderful device for parents looking for a healthy, interactive alternative to screens. It’s safe, educational, and truly effective. Highly recommended!

Love the chess board, there are a lot of options and customer service is very helpful!

Product stopped charging.
Within warranty period. Reached out to product support, they did initially troubleshooting and concluded they will get me a replacement.
For £99 Miko mini, I am asked to pay £50 shipping + any customs and tax to receive replacement.
Utterly ridiculous and in breach of their own return T&C stated on their website.

I backed the Miko Neo and Swap boards on Kickstarter over 6 years ago, and to this day, I’ve never received anything. No boards, no proper updates — just silence and empty promises.

Now that Miko has acquired SquareOff, they’ve inherited the responsibility for fulfilling these orders, yet nothing has changed. It’s frustrating to see them launch new products while completely ignoring loyal backers who believed in them from the start.

At this point, it feels like they’ve abandoned their earliest supporters. Really disappointing experience.

I bought the Square Off chess board mainly for its motorized piece movement and online play functionality. The automatic movement is ingenious—actually seeing the pieces glide across the board adds a "wow" factor on first use and impresses friends every time. I appreciate deep Stockfish integration, letting me play tough AI matches and the fact that I can connect it to Chess.com and Lichess for real online games. The tactile experience is great and the build quality is solid, though not in the luxury tier.

Miko has been great for my kids. They love listening to the music and dancing along with it. There are also a lot of games for them to play!

I have the Grand Kingdom Chess set. I have had it several years and it has always performed perfectly. Just lately I had an issue and called support. I have to say the support was above and beyond. They resolved the issue with both emails and phone calls. I was very impressed considering the support we have come to expect lately.

I backed Miko’s Miko Neo and Swap boards on Kickstarter almost 6 years ago, and I never received either of them. After Miko acquired SquareOff, they became responsible for delivering those boards, but there has been zero response or fulfillment since then. It’s unacceptable that they continue launching new products while completely ignoring old backers. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

I purchased Miko Robot for my family, but it turned out to be a complete waste of money. It doesn’t work as promised, the battery life is terrible, and it constantly freezes. Customer service was slow to respond and didn’t offer any useful solutions, they only copy-paste their answers. I expected more from such an expensive product. I have now also filed 3 separate reports about the incident and a chargeback with my bank.

I adore those ai robots but I am highly disappointed in Miko. I ordered neo and swap board.. when Miko acquired squareboard it became their responsibility to deliver it. I am still waiting..

Yet, despite repeated attempts to get updates, there has been no resolution, no shipping information, and no accountability. This experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing, and I would strongly caution others before trusting them with their money.

She patiently listened to the problem, quickly identified the issue, and guided me step by step through the troubleshooting process over a video call. Her clear instructions and calm demeanor made the entire experience smooth and reassuring.

Thanks to her expertise, my MIKO device is now working perfectly. I truly appreciate her prompt response, technical knowledge, and friendly attitude. Excellent customer service like this greatly enhances user confidence and satisfaction.
