Extremely difficult to get a hold of them. No customer service whatsoever.
They received my return more than two weeks ago. No refund has been issued, set aside replying to my emails or WhatsApp messages.
They charge big bucks for shipping and I still had to pay a ton for receiving the shipment from DHL (don’t know how they come up with that figure!). They also charge you lots for returns.
With the exchange (CAD to USD) I will lose at least over US$100 if I ever get a refund for 2 cotton tanks I bought.
Absolutely regret dealing with Mikita.

Their clothes look great but service a nightmare!
I placed an order and next thing I was meant to pay customs, I am in eu so this should have not happened. After back and fourth for days on end and me having to deal you DHL we found out they filled the form out incorrectly. This was rectified and my order arrived
Then the nightmare started of me trying to return some items from my order. I have to date sent 5 emails, reached out twice via WhatsApp. Absolutely no response and assistance to log my return and doing it via the website gives me an error message.short of flying to Berlin I don’t know what more to do to reach them

I ordered 5 items. I sent one back because it was nothing like it appeared in the photos. I regret not sending back The black short linen, long sleeve dress.
The original price was $360, on sale for $290( Canadian). It was so so thin. I decided to keep it but after washing it once( to get the terrible smell out of it) it no longer fits me. It’s now a $290 long t-shirt.

So I was nervous about purchasing from mikuta given some of the reviews. But now feel I have to come on and say how good they were . Bought four things . Sent two back ( as dress didn’t look like it did on the advert 🙈 and I didn’t need three pairs of sandals) . Got a prompt refund ( minus £9 for postage) .
So why the good review
1) quality of sandals ( 2pairs) is excellent. Wore them for the first time on holiday, a lot,and no rubbing. So comfortable and lots of compliments. Thanks mikuta !
2) I ordered shortly before going away and started to worry that my order wasn’t going to arrive despite the three day delivery . Contacted the team by email and WhatsApp - got a reply in less than 24 hrs on email. Thanks Laura who checked and assured me my order had been sent and arrived 2 days later.

Mikuta kept coming up on my insta feed.
The clothes looked so great. I ordered aprox 6 items.
I Meade a mistake in my address while ordering I contacted them and had a super quick positive response. The colt hers arrived x3 days later. The quality, fit and style were beyond what I was expecting. I’m already planing what to purchase for autumn and lamenting they are out of stock in my size of a dress I want to purchase in every colours they have as it looks so good. I really recommend this brand.

Today marks THREE WEEKS since someone at Mikuta signed for my returns. I ordered two items that were nowhere near the size that I ordered and that I always wear. There are at least 20 emails between myself and Mikuta customer service, including one that was allegedly escalating my complaint and my need for my $1,000 refund. Additionally, I paid an extra $200+ in import fees, that is completely lost to me because of sizing and cheaply made product. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

I was initially drawn to the Mikuta shop by the stunning photography and beautifully styled clothes — everything looked effortlessly cool and high quality. However, when my order arrived, I was seriously disappointed. The clothes looked nothing like what was shown online, both in fit and material. Beyond that, where is the inclusiveness? The brand seems to cater to only one narrow body type and aesthetic. It’s 2025 — it’s time for brands to represent and serve everyone. Style should never be at the expense of authenticity or accessibility.

I have been looking at this site for months and just love the style of clothing, shoes and boots, but too nervous to actually order anything due to the mixed review I have read.
I have to speak as I find, and I ordered the black leather sandals.
From the date of order to the delivery of the sandals the Customer Care Team have been extremely helpful, polite and reassuring because of my reservations.
The sandals are not only great quality but look good too!!
I can t wait to try out the clothing line☺️

Really prompt delivery by DHL. I bought a pair of sandals and they are incredibly comfortable, birkenstock style but way cooler. I will be wearing these A LOT. Not sure about clothing as this was my first purchase but the quality of the sandals is great.

Clothes were good quality. Clothes sixes were not even remotely accurately depicted. I’m a straight small and my clothes even using their descriptions were way inaccurate. Some were way large and others way small. I took my measurements before ordering. Took 8 weeks to arrive and 300$ of tariff payments due before delivery. If in the states definitely do not order

Feel like I've been duped. Similar to another review, lovely photography on the website, but the quality of the products doesn't live up to what you see. I got charged 10 euros to return it to Maidenhead in the UK, when I'm based in the UK, and it would have cost about £3-4 to return it by Royal Mail. I would never buy from them again.

I order some pieces, for the first sign they look nice… The leggings wore out quickly, there were small holes along the seams and I didn't use them much... the price is not proportional to the quality. It's a shame because I really like the style they follow. I'll try them, they get a second chance, everyone can make a mistake once... I ordered a pair of shoes in my normal size. I got them and they were huge. Length was fine but they were impossibly wide, like a men’s shoe., I don’t hate narrow feet. The return fee for Mikuta was €20! I reached out to customer service explaining the fit issue, and got a super condescending email back. Yes I looked at the size chart. No, the shoes, extremely expensive for the quality, did not match. I’d shop with a brand who stands behind their products.

The customer service doesn’t match the price or quality. Bought a mini skirt, size guide very specifically stated 35.8cm, not 36 or approximately 35.5cm.
The skirt was just under 35cm on the front which mattered as mini skirt.
Response: we have a 2cm allowance due to production. Nowhere is this policy stated, it’s their interpretation which they don’t make clear.
I asked for a full refund including the ridiculous €9.90 fee but they refused.
When charging £120 for a denim mini skirt + postage you need to be on point, Mikuta is not.

In November (I just found this site or I would've written a review sooner) I ordered a large order valued at approximately $1830 USD. The package never was delivered to my address, and in fact, thankfully the DHL delivery person took a picture of the door where they delivered the package which was a totally different colored house, door, etc., from where my packages were supposed to be delivered. Luckily, I paid for these items with my Am Ex, and it was due to their persistence that I received a refund. By the way, Mikuta tried to get me to sign the "documents" that have been mentioned in other reviews when they seem to regularly deliver packages to the wrong address. Being an ex-attorney I refused to sign any of these documents which are NOT required by DHL (I called DHL and asked). This is just another delay tactic on the part of Mikuta to keep as much of your money as possible while selling poor quality items. Thankfully, I received my $1830.00 back, but lost almost $300 in tariffs for the delivery to the US (I'll never see that money). Meanwhile, if you decide to shop with Mikuta realize they mis-delivered my items, they were completely refunded by DHL for the lost items as it was DHL's fault for the mis-delivery, and yet they tried to fight Am Ex knowing fulll well I never received any of the packages/package they sent to me. My question is how does this company manage to lose so many packages? I have a hard time believing that DHL is the sole problem in this supply chain issue. Additionally, Mikuta needs to stop wishing that people have a "nice day,"and actually address the many complaints they receive on this review site. I strongly urge anyone considering a purchase from Mikuta to realize you'll be paying additional money for importation of the goods into the US, and if you have a problem good luck finding any customer service at Mikuta where an actual human will respond. Another point of contention is I've never heard of ANY COMPANY using WhatsApp for their customer service communication. The only possible reason for using WhatsApp is that you don't have a way to permanently retain any complaints, AND it's a FREE texting service with extra encryption. Do NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE UNLESS YOU'RE PREPARED TO LOSE A LOT OF MONEY WITH NO RECOURSE.

I ordered the cuff bracelet a few months back and it is just STUNNING. I love it! Such an excellent and unique item that was the perfect fit for me and my style. Fast forward 3 months later and I accidentally lost the ring which keeps the bracelet closed. I reached out to MIKUTA and explained I had lost it, to which they replied that they would send me a replacement free of charge!! I’m ecstatic and very impressed with their level of customer service! I received it just a couple of days later. So grateful! 😌

Bought a grey ruched skirt. It was ok. Nothing special at all. Definitely not worth the price tag. Quality was ok, but for that price point, I was expecting a thicker material. Disappointing but I’ll probably keep it, too much of a faff to return. Sizing seems true to size and postage was pretty speedy.
