Clyde is absolutely wonderful.! Having him take care of my urgent issues, gave me plenty of insight on Clyde as a customer service agent. He is extremely kind, empathetic, a great listener, super knowledgeable and very very professional..! If only ALL our customer service interactions could be with Agents like Clyde.! He is definitely ONE OF THE BEST...😊
Customer support is fabulous! At first, I was surprised there was no online app to handle my Mile Auto payments, view my policy, etc. Then, I realized, it's actually a blessing! It's so friendly and efficient to call someone on the phone! You don't need to worry about navigating a confusing web app or mobile app. I just spoke to Klyde and he was extremely helpful in changing my payment method and explained how payment methods are set up within the system-- only one payment method allowed, which is nice and simple. In this day and age we need more simplicity and more human contact! Agents can also email you things -- such as your policy documents. They can also help if, for some reason, you're unable to take an odometer photo by the deadline. Mile Auto is great!
I have no complaints for this company, or any representative with whom I’ve had dealings. Highly recommend.

Mile Auto insurance is a SCAM. DO NOT waste your time with this company. My 1999 Ford Truck was driven 38 miles in a month, and the insurance premium was $55. I'm retired with a PERFECT driving record.
How did they raise the $16 base charge, plus the 57 cent mileage charge up to $55? They added these HIDDEN FEES:
Anti Theft Fee $2.50
Installment Fee $5.00
Mileage Data Capture Fee $6.00
Policy Administration Fee $25.00
There is nothing in their signup papers about a $25/month "policy administration fee".
Also, since you have to email a picture of your odometer every month, so they can figure out the mileage cost, every policy will be charged the $5.00 "installment fee".
EVEN WORSE... They only give you THREE DAYS to email your odometer photo, or they charge you for 2.000 miles that month, with a huge mileage fee.
That happened to me once, since I HAD two cars insured by Mile Auto, and each odometer photo is due on a different date.
This company is a 100% SCAM! They ADD FEES, until your cost EXACTLY equals a real insurance company, like progressive or E-surance.
It is so much hassle and worry to sign up (only over the phone - no online anything!), then have to worry if you missed your three day window for the odometer photo.
It sounds great, only pay 15 cents per mile that you drive in a month... then where the H#LL did the other fees come from, so your cost EXACTLY EQUALS a REAL INSURANCE company!?!?!?!?!?!
I'm in a rage about being ripped off, after all this time and effort to sign up, and send in all these odometer photos.
Please DO NOT waste your time, thinking you will save a DIME with this scammer "Mile Auto".
I would attach a photo of the 38 miles driven/$55 monthly bill, if I could, but I can't using this browser. P.S. The more sporty cars, like 2009 Honda Accord, have a monthly "base charge" of $26, WITH the other fees added on top. So, there is no way to win with this company

Hello,
Klyde was most helpful and very efficient. He was knowledgeable and provided me with the information that I needed.
I advised several individuals at the dealership with your company name and how mile auto works. Hopefully, you will receive some referrals as a result of me expressing how pleased I am with you.
Warmest Regards,
Cynthia King

I recently moved from Georgia to Tennessee. I had questions on my policy which were not answered and the customer service person was rude. When I asked for a supervisor, I was told that they do not have one. I called back and waited for 20 minutes with no supervisor. So, I called the next day and asked again. Again, I was initially refused. I stated this is enough so after about 15 minutes, another rude person came on the line by the name of Elana. She stated that she was the customer service manager. Due to her rudeness I asked who her supervisor was and she told me that it was the President of the company. I have had mile auto for a few years and never had this type of customer service. I needed a new policy but I would NEVER use this company again and cancelled the next day after I bought from another company.
No one should ever have to spend their hard earned money with a company that does not appreciate a customer. Other insurance companies do!!!!

Had several people run quotes with the same vehicle and basic information that would not effect the cost. Minimum liability insurance for a second vehicle that doesn't get driven except dump runs or home depot.
My insurance for my car wanted to charge me full fare for the second so I was shopping and heard stories of the fluctuating pricing so I gave a few people the same basic info to run from different locations. They all got different quotes. So I called them and they gave me a quote that was higher. I said no thanks and ran another quote from their website and it came in 33% cheaper. I called them back and asked them how that is possible SARA whom claimed to be a supervisor was rude and stated that multiple quotes were not possible because you have to enter your VIN and drivers license to get a quote.
I said, not from your website! Don't use your license, social, or phone number for a quote! They just get more money from selling your information and they are not required buy law. Then extended her rudeness and said she knew what she was talking about and she is a customer too. I said you work there and you had to use the website to get your insurance. Sounds unfeasible or stupid!
You have my information what aspects would make my quote cheaper? She said your quote is what it is. Is it fraud or stupidity. 50 years of different scams from all insurance companies makes shopping around a necessity. The electronic wall saves many a gutless weasel the beatings they deserve. Another negative situation created by the use of business phones and Internet!
Here's hoping the next time you need insurance it's for medical recovery!

I had a serious auto accident and it was very devastating. I spoke to 2 Mile Auto reps immediately after and they helped guide me in what to do and when. Then Tiffany from claims followed up with me later in day and she was amazing. Kind. Helpful and took extra time to reassure me all would be ok. I feel like she is a friend! I’m grateful for all the assistance I received and I have confidence all WILL BE OK!
