I decided to try Minerstat to monitor a mining farm. Seemed like a fairly straight forward install from the information on their website. After 5 hours of frustration, I concluded that nothing could be further from the truth. Bottom line - unless you have a solid understanding of Linux and Raspbian, look elsewhere. I have 25 years experience as a network administrator and it was ultimately way beyond my ability, not having Raspbian experience. Their only support is on Discord and while they tried to help (a little), there are many steps involved in the setup of Asic Hub and no step by step instructions. Their support staff are clearly highly proficient in Linux to the point they assume everyone else is as well and communicate instructions poorly. Mostly, they just refer you to a web page with unhelpful troubleshooting guidance. I would not read too much to the glowing reviews. Luckily It cost nothing but some lost time.

Installing ASIC Hub on a server takes less than 5 minutes without any extra installations from the user. However, if a particular server that you own lacks dependencies that are usually preinstalled, then of course user interaction is required.
Response of the script provides feedback on what is missing and what should be installed next. If that is something you can't do, it is OK as we do offer monitoring script for 3 different devices: Mac, Raspberry Pi, and Linux - so you can easily decide to use something else that you are most comfortable with.
As we are sorry to hear that you had issues installing these dependencies, I have took my time to review your communication with our main developer. Developer clearly dedicated a lot of hours helping you with most basic things without any judgment even when you failed to follow his exact instructions (for example you didn't enter the exact word by word commands to the console). We are not judging you, this is why you have received all the help you have needed, but it is highly unfair that you judge us and our product as it is clear that your judgment is based merely on your own lack of knowledge and technical experience.
Again, thank your for your feedback and I hope you find the product you will understand and love.

I initially gave 5 stars. I have altered my review from 5 to 1 based on how rude the staff is on their Discord "support" server. They have no customer service skills whatsoever. They choose to speak down to you rather than speak to you on your level. This software is a tool to make mining easier and more manageable for novices. If you chose to use this software, I hope you do not require support as you will be more than likely spoken to like dirt.
Update: In response to the reply below, this is a prime example of how rude they are to their customers. The way in which they talk to you is very condescending!!

We are surprised about the change of your review as your initial review was: "This software is absolutely awesome and it has a superb support team to back it up (not that you should need it, the support is more to help first time users/miners). I have a mining farm of over 200+ GPU rigs and I wouldn't use anything else. I receive push notifications to my mobile via telegram, I have setup triggers to stop mining if my GPU reaches a certain temperature etc. Minerstat has virtually all mining programs built in by default. I can't sing it's praises enough. I am a very happy customer! Thank you for creating something so special! 10/10"
I have reviewed the chat and I can see that Technical support did their best to answer all of your advanced questions in a technical manner. Since you have over 200+ GPU rigs, it gave them an impression that you are technically proficient and that you would in fact understand the answers on your questions. Now I understand that you were shy to admit that you didn't understand the answers, but even after you have in the end stated that our answers are useless, irrelevant, and too hard to understand for a rookie, we did, again, explained what is going on in a more simplistic manner.
To summarize again: We cannot implement other developer's closed-source solutions for memory optimizations of the hardware as that would be violation of intellectual property. However, you can still utilize their optimizations by using their software within our service as you have total control over it.
An overall 10/10 service
An overall 10/10 service, not only is everything incredibly well documented, the community is really amazing, the developers and support at MS are great fun to talk to, as well as super helpful. The dashboard is super simple to use, and very useful.
Would recommend Minerstat by a longshot to anyone new or even experienced in mining.

Have to give this 5 stars, it is better than Hive OS by a long shot. It has a remote app, quick responses on Dicord support, slick UI. You can monitor your rigs from an app, you can reboot it and do so many things remotely. It has a profit switch option, you can use the data for the most profitable options for your cards and apply it, should the current one become less profitable it will switch to your pre defined option to maintain profitability. It has all of the data from it's network based on the most profitable algos and coins. it uses the native miners like Phoenix etc and pulls data from that. Eth Pill is implemented automatically for the 1080ti. It is simply the best mining software out there by a long shot.

Accounts don't get deleted if they are being used. Also the system is not deleting paying accounts.
However, as stated in terms and conditions and due to our internal GDPR rules we don't want to hold your personal information on pools and wallets you used - especially since you aren't using your minerstat free account anymore. That's why the system will delete all inactive free accounts after 2 months of inactivity.
Highly recommended!
I am using minerstat to manage my mining rigs, and so far, everything has been great! The support staff (administrators and owners) of Minerstat is MORE than happy to help the community, and the community itself is really great.
Their website has so much data that is useful for every miner and will help with whatever issues you have.
Minerstat OS (msOS) is their specialized mining operating system that can be installed on a USB drive, and you can plug it in your rig and forget that it exists. You will gain your profits.
The platform itself is straightforward to use, and if you have a bit of brain and some common sense, you will be able to monitor and control your rig outside of your home without any issues.
Kudos to the guys that created minerstat!

Best monitoring tool in the business

ASIC Hub is a monitoring and management software so it does exactly that - you can monitor your hashrate, temperatures, pools, and estimated earnings with it and change the pools, reboot the ASIC, or set up profit switch.
