The evening was easy! Each of the restaurants I've been to for a Mingleo dinner have been exceptional. The guys have always been kind and I so appreciate the fact that we had time to get to know each other a little. These dinners have proved to be a relatively inexpensive way to date.
I had a great experience with Mingleo. As someone who is new to Charlotte, I was looking for a meaningful way to meet new people outside of the typical bar scene, and this was exactly what I needed.
I attended one of their group date events and appreciated how thoughtfully it was organized. The setting made it easy to engage in genuine, face-to-face conversation, which is something I value. It felt natural, comfortable, and much more intentional than traditional social environments.
Mingleo provides a refreshing alternative for individuals who prefer building connections through real interaction rather than apps or nightlife. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to expand their social circle in a more authentic and structured way.
Very interesting way to meet new people! No pressure and the relaxed atmosphere allowed for great conversations.
It was great being able to talk to others face to face as opposed to texting. We had a great conversation amongst the 5 of us, and it was a very relaxing evening. Can’t wait to do it again!
Had a great experience at the event. People were nice. It’s great to meet people in a different environment than the usual. I recommend Mingleo.
Meeting people through this service was unexpectedly a good medium to connect and get to know someone new. It is good to get out of your comfort zone when meeting someone new.
Mingleo offers a great new opportunity to meet gay men in a convivial restaurant environment. It is a relatively new London business trying hard to match male clients in small friendly groups. Some times are easier than others depending on variables eg., loud restaurants caused by noisy groups. Yet Mingleo is an honest company and responded well to my previous 3 restaurant experiences reviews. It was a delight to eat in Diwan Lebanese restaurant last evening because the management understood Mingleo's purposes. The restaurant typical local customers being older quieter couples and single people. The service and ambiance was perfect because the premises were in Marylebone just far enough away from the tourist hotspot of Oxford Street in London. It felt like your friendly small, professional, local restaurant where nothing was too much trouble. I was impressed with Mingleo and Diwan Restaurant.
Was a blast. Met a great group of like minded individuals. It was so great to leave all pretense behind and just have a good time. We all went out afterwards and enjoyed ourselves.
The group was fun and open to what ever topics we wanted to discuss everyone shared their thoughts.I learned a lot from them. People are nice and warm. The place was good and food was excellent together with the service staff. It was fun and will attend again next time.
It was more realistic person to person connection than swiping with my phone or looking for eye contact at the bar to know person well. I like to attend future meet up to explore.
While I was very nervous at the beginning, I ended up having a great time and actually feel like I made some friends with other gay men in my city. It was definitely reassuring and I’m excited to go to the next dinner. 10/10 would recommend!
I really enjoyed the evening. The other men were all very friendly and the conversation was easy and fun—like we’d been friends for many years. The restaurant was quite nice and location perfect for a quiet evening. I’ll definitely book more Mingleo events.
Thanks for the opportunity to meet new friends.
So far, everyone has been friendly and interacting. I honestly didn't know what to expect at first, but these last two encounters have been really enjoyable.
Great time spent with nice, down to earth people. Good atmosphere and delicious food. Definitely going to the next one.
First time for me meeting in a group like this. 5 of us total and it was so lighthearted and easy going. I really had a way better time than I expected.
Very nice restaurant, great food, very good waitress ( service). Very nice, interesting group of guys. Some really good conversations. Really liked both Michael (s) . Nelson was funny and good conversation. Lee was too.
My first meetup was a success. I think that the people chosen to get together worked well, and the table had easy conversation and felt safe and warm
I think we were all matched together very well. We all had the very similar prospects about dating, activities, etc. and I think our group vibed really well together overall. My only critique was that our hosts weren’t able to seat us until the entirety of anticipated guests were supposed to arrive, even if we didn’t know if they were definitely coming or not. We were still able to be seated and it wasn’t too big of a hassle, but it might be good for participants to be able to see the definitive number of people who are coming as well as the number of people who aren’t so that we can relay that to the hosts so we don’t have to wait for a larger table. Aside from this, I think the experience was still very worthwhile and I’m looking forward to participating in future meetups!
