I ordered an expensive item. It was to be delivered in 2 weeks. When it did not arrive, I contacted the shipper who claimed they never received the item. I then contacted m&m and they said the item would be shipped the next business day. I had to ask for a tracking number. I checked the tracking and saw that it was to be delivered again. On the day was supposed to arrive, it did not and I contacted the shipper again. Same story. The shipper said they sent a truck to pick it up and no item was available. Of course, there was no explanation or notice from m&m.

Love the dining table I ordered from them. Arrived timely and without any damage.

I bought a TV stand from M&M and there were some stock issues, so I had to wait. I was given the option to cancel my order, but I decided to wait. M&M responded to all of my emails, of which there were several, asking when I could expect my order as the delivery date got pushed back a couple times. Very nice, professional language was used, and the item arrived as described.

Love my new couch! Arrived early and looks great. I'd be happy to shop with Minimal & Modern again in the future.

Awful, scammy business. I ordered a table and two dining chairs from them because of their fast shipping time. After purchase, I was told the table was backordered. It is evident from other reviews that this is a pattern and they have made no move to correct it. Rather than updating their website and noting what is not currently in stock, they have it appear in stock so you purchase from them rather than another company. After several weeks, they scheduled a table delivery and it never came. The delivery was canceled with no communication. Rescheduled it for the following week. They delivered the wrong product!! So then I was sitting around with big armchair boxes in my living room and no table. The email communication was garbage with me being asked to confirm if I had received the wrong product when I had clearly stated it and even sent photos! They then emailed UPS labels to return the chairs between 1-5pm the next day. I could not accommodate this as that’s mid work day and I had already missed two shifts for the two botched deliveries. Finally got the table. Chairs are still sitting here. I can legally keep them but have requested a pickup in the next 5 days, to match their claims policy. Throughout this they never offered compensation. Just blamed the delivery folks and apologized for the “inconvenience.” Of note, the actual furniture is about as advertised. One chair was a bit wobbly. I would never recommend working with this company to anyone.

I placed an order over a month ago for an entertainment center and still haven’t received it. When I ordered it on Oct 14th they emailed saying it was out of stock, and that it would ship the next week on the 20th. I never heard anything, so I reached out again - they told me it would arrive on the 28th. The 28th came and went and still nothing, so I reached out again and they told me it wasn’t going to be back in stock until Nov 20th.

I asked to be refunded, and instead of doing so after a week of not hearing anything I got a shipping notification email. At this point this is already the worst experience I’ve ever had buying anything online, paired with the worst customer service, but I said f*** it, at least I’ll finally have my item. Except no, that shipping notification email arrived on Nov 5th, but the tracking included never updated and eventually just said it was pending. It is now Nov 21, a day after they said it would finally ship, and I haven't heard anything.

THIS ITEM HAS BEEN AND STILL IS LISTED AS AVAILABLE ON THEIR SITE. This place is a mess and I would avoid it. I'm sure it's fine most of the time, but if you're unlucky like me you may be $300 out of pocket with nothing to show for it.

If I could give them zero stars, I would.

I purchased Tov Barstools and they were the incorrect height. I tried to exchange them for a smaller height without ever being used and they told me there are no returns or exchanges. Very deceitful website and although returns are included all over their site, be warned that there are no exchanges or returns. I have purchased so many online items and never quite experienced this type of scam.

Read before buying from here!! This company is impossible to deal with! They sent damaged merchandise whereupon it was finally replaced and then I was left with a 220 pound worthless damaged table top to somehow discard of myself. Cannot believe they wouldn't pick it up or figure out a method for me to get rid of it!! If there is ever an issue with what you received good luck dealing with it! There is no phone number to speak to a real person and the email correspondence is horrible. Will never shop here again.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! I ordered a TV stand that appeared to be in stock. Two days later I receive a text stating it is on back order and if I would like to keep my order. It was only a few days later so I was willing to wait. My original delivery date was then scheduled for Tues, Sept 24. For some reason my item became "undelivered" is what FedEx told me before they finally delivered it Friday, Sept 27, 2019. Upon opening the box, I FINALLY get to the bottom of it (the top piece of my brand new TV stand!) and there is a large dent in it! I instantly get online to notify them of my damaged item. I fill out their "Claim Form" as I was told to do and am 4 days later still waiting to hear anything back. I have called about 7 times and left 2 VM. Never does anyone answer the phone. I have resubmitted my claim in addition to sending another 2 emails. I do not understand who is actually working for this company and what they are expecting me to do with this damaged TV stand!! The lack of customer service in UNREAL! AVOID THIS COMPANY!

You guys are the worst company I have ever done business with in my life. Ordered a couch that was supposed to show up to my cabin 4th or July. I've left numerous voicemails and emails asking for someone to call me and no one ever reached out. After weeks of emailing, I finally heard from one of your reps saying the delivery company will contact me prior to delivery. They called today and want to deliver Monday morning to my cabin 3.5 hours away. Your service has been horrendous and I wish I never did business with you.

No Customer Service and no support.
They will only tell you after placing the order that your item is out of stock and won't be available for months.
You then ask for a refund through several emails and by calling their customer service line which never answers and they leave you with no answer.
Do not order from them.

I placed an ordered from Minimal & Modern, they informed me that the item was on back order for a month, and was asked if I would like to wait for my order, and I said Yes, after a few weeks of waiting, I received an email that my furniture was shipped. I am glad that I waited because the furniture was great and I really love it. Great communication with the company. I highly recommend.

Fast delivery, great price.

The desk I ordered arrived 5 days after the purchase and was in perfect condition, which I was worried about since it's got a white lacquer top and gold metal bottom, both of which could be easily scratched during shipping. Best of all, it was cheaper than the same desk at a local store. I just ordered a dining table and chairs from Minimal & Modern and am excited about having a great place to order gorgeous modern furniture at great prices and fast shipping.

This place deserves zero stars. I ordered a piece of furniture which didn’t say it was sold out and it said the shipping would be in a few days. So I ordered it but then looked around the internet and noticed it’s sold out everywhere else.

So I asked about the status and no response. I had to email a bunch of times to get a response only to find out the order wasn’t in stock and wouldn’t be fulfilled for another four months.

They don’t have a phone number. And the reviews on their website seem to be fake because if you go to 12modern.com the same reviews will be there, and I had the same issue with them as well. These sites seems to be affiliated.

They’ll take your money and hope you don’t mind waiting for furniture that won’t come any time soon.

Like 12modern, this site should be shut down.

Horrific experience! Placed an order and heard nothing for a month. Although my order never arrived, I received an email from them telling me my order had been fulfilled and asking me to review the product. I have emailed them (no response) and tried calling several times but they are only open six hours a day on week days and they don't answer their phone when they are open! I am left with no option but to dispute the purchase with my credit card!

Why can we not give zero stars? I highly believe the good reviews are fake or flukes. I can not get ahold of anyone. Was told my order was two months delayed. Asked to cancel. They then said “oh the order arrived in our warehouse would you still like to cancel?” I asked for an ETA for delivery.. that was a week ago, and all I’ve been able to get out of them since then are different dates of when the chairs MIGHT be processed. I’ve now asked for a refund 8 times, and they do not respond to the request. I just called my bank to report fraud. Ridiculous. Do not use this company.

My experience was great. I was a little disappointed that I didn’t find out that the bed was on backorder till after I made my order but Minimal and modern did the right thing and gave me options for a full refund or to wait. I choose to wait and I am really happy I did. The bed is beautiful! The color is a little different then what o expected but that’s what happens when you shop online.
I also love the delivery company they use and that they were able to accommodate night time delivery’s (which all of us working folk need).

Purchasing online sometimes can be a little scary but we took a leap because the product was hard to find anywhere else, to our surprise, the product arrived in a rather quick fashion and we are very happy with our TOV Furniture dinning chair.
