On my trip to USA this was the best choice. Unlimited internet whatever you go and use all your app. Thanks for everything and highly recommended.

Very, very bad experience.
I placed a prepaid order on this website (MIOWIFI Rent) on the 31st of December. Considering my trip start date was on the 1st of February, I thought there was plenty of time to deliver the device. The date was approaching and I got no information/tracking number. So I tried to contact them dozens of times on the phone to ALL their regional numbers (they never answered and their voice platform will actually hang up on you!). No avail. Finally, 25th January, i.e. -5 working day to departure and only after several emails, somebody comes back saying they simply "do not deliver" to my address, they were “very sorry”, blabla... they would issue a full refund.
I had to rush to find an alternative in less than 5 days, that was not easy, nor less expensive.

Guess what: On an unspecified date, between 2nd Feb and 10th Feb when I was travelling, the device was delivered to one of my neighbours...
I found out by chance because they (MIOWIFI) wrote to me saying they wanted the device back, but of course no return label was sent to me. I got a return label via email on the 7th of March(!). I had to print it myself of course and waited for DHL to collect the package. The courier never showed up on that day. When I contacted them, DHL said MIOWIFI made an error in creating the pickup note… Finally, they reissued a pickup note... printed again and and it was eventually collected yesterday.

A one star rating is very generous, I would have given them a minus were it available. Really poor service and poor connection. It is supposed to be unlimited data and when I spoke to them before committing to rent, I mentioned I needed it for home working and entertainment (Netflix, YouTube, downloads etc) over the Christmas holiday. I was assured that all those things were possible, but when we received the router it had instructions asking explicitly NOT to use Netflix, Spotify, YouTube etc...
Over the 2 week period we had to use our mobile data instead because the connection through Miowifi was so poor. To top it all, they provided us with a Correos Express bag to return the device, but there were no instructions on how to do it and no return address. I emailed them repeatedly and I'm still to get an answer. I also called them only to be cut off or get a recorded message asking to ring their customer service department; for which they don't provide a number. It's now the 1st January, I'm leaving the country tomorrow, Saturday, and I still don't know what to do to return their useless device. I will not be using them ever again. I normally use Easymifi, who are brilliant, but because of the pandemic they were not offering this service.

Miowifi is an excellent internet for whattsapp. But if you want to load pictures or videos, it is too slow, and some time it is not possible. So, if you need a basic internet, Miowifi is excellent, but if you need for pictures and videos, you will need other device.

Just what I needed

I have been using Mi Wifi now for almost 2 years, and it has worked perfectly well. In certain Latam countries is much slower, but still works.
This has gelped reduce costs when travelling.

Conection fantastic, only one isuue, so heavy to keep into a jacket, pocket, etc...

It was no easy to start.
Primarly passcode it was no correct. I received one by email but
router has another one much easier than email, which it was fine.

I received information that Seychelles was not service but i was, and madagascard has service and it wasnot.

The bactery does not allow to use all day...and it is heavy to bring outside unless you have a purse.
The connection is good by the way

When I read about it I couldn't believe it, because it was all I needed and I'd never found it...So I picked up too sceptic...but there weren't reasons for that..
keep what promises...It's easy, confortable and illimited Gb. Sure, I'll use again and I recommend it you.

It is the Best Buy I have ever made. It works perfect and I didn’t need to configure nothing. I recommend it to everybody.

The service would be perfect if the battery had a little more autonomy, it does not cover a day of walking and you do not have Wi-Fi again.

Is the first time we use Miowifi. It’s wonderful. The money best expended. We had WiFi in every place we visited. Even in a boat!
