Do not buy, they discontinue app access.

It seems the company is going out of business or just decided to quit altogether with a brief bye-bye to the customers:
"Dear client of Mishiko App!
From April 10, 2020 in accordance with paragraph 3 and paragraph 9 EULA, the company discontinues support, maintenance and access to the App."
And now, it seems I can enjoy my most expensive dog collar with all the features that will be unavailable in a week. I can imagine I will be drowning in all the money I get as a refund :/

I'm not overly happy.

Firstly, they don't seem to want to respond to emails. Secondly, why should I have to give them my mobile number? Surely my email address would suffice. Thirdly, how about actually selling the item. Fourthly, how about selling it for the promised price of £99 for a lifetime of tracking.

I'm now not sure if I want to purchase anything from this company. How can they be trusted?

Difficulty ordering

My problem with this company is I don’t seem to get any response from the website, the only phone number goes through to an answer phone, and the website doesn’t seem to allow me to purchase.

Can anyone help with any ideas as to what’s going on

Nice product!

I received a Mishiko collar for our red setter as a present from my parents, and she’s been wearing it, particularly when the kids take her for walks. We live in a busy part of town and it provides us with a bit of peace of mind when they’re out, knowing where they are and where they’ve been. Looking forward to trying out some of the other features soon!

Love tracking our walking adventures

I enjoy going outdoors with our family dog and taking different routes round our village and beyond. With the Mishiko I can not only look back on the routes we’ve taken but also how many steps that equates to for our dog. I’m finding the tracking function really interesting to refer to when tracking mine and my dog’s fitness.

Great for keeping dogs active

Been using the Mishiko for a couple of months now and have found it really interesting. It has made me much more aware of how much activity Oz is doing during the day when I’m out and has definitely encouraged me to walk more and longer with him to get his steps up. Worthwhile if you are conscious of your dogs health/fitness! (Also means I can spy on how far the dog walker takes him when I use them)

Happy customer

Very happy with my purchase. Have been using it for just over a week, very accurate tracking, love the fact that I can look back and see our routes and distance on different days. And that I can track my dog if he is out for walk with my partner
Just wish it was available in different colours

Fantastic product!

Fantastic product!

Saw this product for the first time on FaceBook.
Using this for my dog a few months now. Not only using it for her exercise but also it keeps me thinking about the food and treats I'm giving her.
No monthly cost and the app works really well.
Battery life can maybe a bit longer but its the same as my Apple watch.

Brilliant - it's like a Dog Fit Bit

Great value and works brilliantly, bought the unlimited data plan version, My wife and i really feel this is money well spent, we can see each other and where our dogs are when one of us is out walking them. Total peace of mind, works effortlessly, simple controls and fab features like the Geo fence. The activity monitor and diet plan is extremely helpful and the nightlight is great when out walking in the dark...The Wireless charger makes the whole thing really easy too....Would definitely recommend this Tracker to any dog owner and totally worth 5 stars!

The best gadget for dogs

Hi there!
Today I want to talk about an interesting gadget for... dogs!

Recently on Instagram I saw an advertisement for a tracker for dogs called Mishiko. At first, I was wondering what kind of tracker it is and how useful it can be (immediately made a parallel to fitness trackers for humans). Secondly, I really love my dog and often pamper her.

To tell the truth, the price for the gadget is quite high. Still there are two options: for $160 and for $210. The difference is that the second option includes free internet for a lifetime. If you buy a tracker for $150, then you have to pay extra $6 per month for the internet, since a sim card is inserted into the gadget in order to transfer all data to the application installed on your phone.

So, I chose the second option for $210. I understand that some people will say that's way too much for a dog-tracker. But before making a purchase, I studied the offers of other manufacturers for a long time. And, frankly, other trackers are very much inferior in appearance and, I think, in quality.
For example, there is an iPet tracker. In my opinion, it's design is completely bad, plus strange colors and cheap plastic. And the device itself looks very unreliable.

Another example is even worse - the tracker for dogs and cats MonkeyG. Google what it looks like, and everything will immediately become clear: there is no desire to purchase such a gadget. Moreover, if you count all the additional costs (trackers connect with the application on the phone via GPS), then the price will turn out like Mishiko, if not more. And Mishiko still looks like a sweetie.

Once the Mishiko was brought to my place by a delivery guy, I hurried to get everything out of the box. This is what I found on the table after unpacking:

The tracker is cool, looks stylish! It's light and flash are pretty bright, especially when you use it in the dark.

I have a pretty big labrador, but the tracker came up perfectly! It is very well fixed and does not slip.

And here's the tracker with the backlight:

The package has a detailed instruction on how to put the tracker on your collar with a special adapter (if you do not want to use the collar that comes with the kit):

And it is generally very easy to charge - you can just put the gadget on a charger connected to the computer!

Here is how the tracker looks on my Bruno:

Let me tell you a bit more - what is this device for?
The Mishiko tracker has two main functions: 1) tracking your dog's activity; 2) controlling the location of the dog.
And both of it are done using a special mobile application. It is very easy to find a dog now. I just grab my iPhone, turn on the app and as soon as you switch to the "Maps" tab, you find out where your pup is. Here's how it looks in the app:

In fact, nothing very different from the GPS-navigation. The only thing, at the first start of the day, the location of the dog comes to me with a delay of about a minute. The instructions say that this is normal, and after the first coordinates received, the delay decreases and the coordinates arrive very quickly, in only 5-10 seconds.

In addition to location, the application shows how many steps your pet has gone and how much it has left to reach the daily goal.
You walk around and in realtime see how much the dog has run up. Walking turns out to become much funnier - about how to run with a fitness tracker!
The only disadvantage of Mishiko is the high price. But still, it's a smart collar!

So if you do not want to lose a dog, watch out for his or her health and activity, then such a tracker will be useful for ya!

Pros: good quality, stylish and nice looking, helps to monitor the activity and tracks the location of the dog, easy to use
Cons: high price
