Bought a radiator for my Raptor 5-ish years ago. Less than a year had a leak. Got a warranty replacement but had to pay something like 200 bucks. Within a year that one started leaking. Never had a problem with the OEM, haven’t had a problem since I replaced the Mishimoto with a cheesy Duralast 2 years ago.
Pretty terrible for such an expensive radiator. I can’t afford to replace them every year when they spring a leak

$800 radiator, trying to get the best. LOL

This radiator install is going to give me PTSD. It has fittings in it to go to the oil cooler lines. They are just the a tiny bit off, like they were machined wrong. Took me hours and hours to figure out it wasn't my fault, and that the part was machined wrong. I was warned Mishimoto was super low quality stuff and wish soooo bad I had listened.
It also doesn't come with new rubber mounting bushings. Even dirt cheap radiators come with new bushings. What a trash company.
And to top it all off the internet is full of reviews saying that mishimoto radiators start leaking within a year.

Ford Focus ST mk3 intake kit

Ford Focus ST mk3 intake kit, Honestly looks OK when fitted as gives a OEM mod look that I like but was left a little disapointed for what it cost, the painted surfaces can be scratched by staring at them hard, no written instruction for fitting or maintenance, no filter oil, filter itself is small a fairly basic, could have filter material at end of the cone like others, the packing likley cost a third of the purchase price, not nessersery, month to arrive direct from manufactuer / Mishimoto after being lost for a week or 2, better than just cone filter but at price

Great interactions and products!

I got the radiator, intercooler, hoses and reservoir for my 25 FL5. Worked on getting everything installed, ran into an issue with the intercooler. I contacted customer service and they were knowledgeable, courteous, and everyone just seemed genuinely concerned with the issue I was having. When installing the intercooler on the 25, not sure the other years, there are separators that you need to account for that applied pressure to the top of the stock intercooler. In all fitment is perfect, welds seems solid, and I couldn't be happier with the company interactions I've had.

Bought oil cooler for my jeep

Bought oil cooler for my jeep. Mishimoto has very poor quality. Should have learned my lesson with radiator I bought from them. Customer service is terrible. Don't believe in their warranty. Mishimoto does not stand behind product. It is the same made from China with a much bigger price tag.

Omg utter garbage

Omg. What a nite mare. This is the second vehicle that I installed a mishimoto and hoses only to fail , never again, first my radiator cap failed mind you these items are less then one year old. So, I thought I would eliminate through a process of replacing the cap first and then if need be the radiator and hoses, there customer support wants pictures a full test done I’ve explained to there support till I’m blue the face and they persist on wanting more and more information, not worth I’m putting the oem back on which in truth worked fine and I give mishimoto the middle finger.

Great products and great service

Just installed a Mishi baffled oil catch can and short ram intake and let me tell you they fit soooo perfect and the intake sounds great. Customer service is top notch; i ordered the wrong part and they made sure i was refunded and happy. If they had more Civic parts, i would be spending all my money with them for sure. Good job

Purchased two radiators from mishimoto , one for a 52 Chevy styleline and one for a 54 belair that were supposed to be a direct fit , far from the truth, I tried to return them unused and was met with stall tactics be passed along finally I just got fed up and gave up , customer service sucks as well as their product , will not ever recommend mishimoto to anyone again . Save your money and purchase elsewhere many companies make radiators that do fit properly.

Incompetent customer service, damaged parts, missing hardware

Ordered the HD cooling bundle (aluminum radiator, thermostats, hoses, top support bar, 2k+), the transmission cooler $492, and the intercooler $1k, for my 2008 F350 6.4 diesel. Every finned cooling part arrived with shop damage or was a return resold as new instead of open box. The transmission cooler was the wrong one and took 2 weeks of bring ignored to get the correct part shipped. Each kit arrived with incorrect or missing hardware; an example is the trans cooler which has random bolts you don't need, no solution for actually securing it to the radiator (radiator mounts are not threaded, no self locking nuts or clip on nuts which won't work in the right mount anyway because it's thicker than the left.). No instructions in the boxes, the web site says to look under the individual parts for download-able pdf but not all of them have them. The ones they do have are poorly written such as for the trans cooler which shows the bracket marked with an R mounted on both sides in 2 pics. Customer service requests are ignored or replies are flippant, indecipherable, or irrelevant because they didn't read the ticket. Never again.

They claim to have a LIFETIME WARRANTY!

They claim to have a LIFETIME WARRANTY!

Apparently it is only a statement NOT a fact.

After a multitude of emails, answering every question with photos, copies of receipts and serial numbers, crickets.

What am I looking for? A stupid radiator cap that is made by them to fit the $350 radiator I bought from them that is defective.

Good radiator. Very disappointing Lifetime Warranty because it's a lie.

I can recommend this store and their products.

My order #1045261875.
I ordered a radiator for an FJ Cruiser, but initially received the wrong item. However, after contacting customer support, I received the correct item. I was very satisfied with the support provided. Therefore, I can recommend this store and their products.

I should have listened to the horror…

I should have listened to the horror stories online and now I understand why they are known as Sh!timoto. After ordering a simple replacement part, I was sent the wrong item three times. After a month of their incompetence, I requested a refund, since it did not seem like I was ever going to actually get the part I ordered.

Sh!timoto stated that I would receive it in 3-5 days, but if you ever received a refund, it usually takes just a couple days to process. It has now been 8 days since I was promised a refund, and to no surprise, I have not received that. I had the misfortune of dealing with shady businesses before, and I am sure their intention was to hope I did not check if the refund was sent, so they could keep my money without actually giving me my order.

I recommend anyone to do your research and look for alternative option over this crooked company.

Will buy another cooling kit next project.

I’ve had nothing but good service from Mishimoto. I did have a fan controller go bad, and a radiator crack because of it. They replaced both no hassle. The radiator was 560 bucks and they sent out a replacement no worries. I will 100% buy from them again. I have an LS swap project coming up, it’s getting a full Mishimoto setup.

Mishimoto sends incomplete kits that require disassembly prior to installation

Mishimoto customer service and product delivery needs significant improvement. I ordered the specific Oil Catch Can for my truck. I received it about two weeks after I ordered it when "they had it in stock" and I live in a neighboring state of Mishimoto HQ. While I waited for the product, I reviewed the installation instructions along with the company installation video. When I finally received the product, I inventoried it and discovered that not only was it missing three washers. The missing washers along with three screws were supposed to ship loosely within the package. The three screws, however, were screwed into the shipped catch can by a gorilla. All three screws that require a 2.5mm allen wrench were stripped out. With a significant effort I was able to get two of the three screws out but they were obviously unusable. The third screw I had to resort to cutting a straight groove into it and with a straight edge screwdriver loosen the over torqued stripped out screw. I am not used to spending top dollar for equipment that is in need of intensive care. When I called Mishimoto the customer service was no help and they defended themselves stating, "we don't package the equipment." IMO, if you sell it, you are responsible for it. They apologized and indicated that they would immediately get the washers and screws to me. Well, it's 10 later and I am still waiting for the screws. Hopefully their patented product is better than their packing and customer service.

GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR?

I had to reorder 3 times due to a combination of shipping damage and manufacturing defects. One from Amazon, and two directly from Mishimoto. After the third still arrived with the box obviously opened and re-sealed (according to Mishimoto; sometime after leaving the factory), I decided to go forward with the install. Although the radiator is advertised as a direct factory replacement, it had some obvious design issues. There was no bracket to secure the transmission cooler lines to the side of the radiator like the OEM radiator, so I had to cut it off the OEM, modify it to fit, and attach it to the pin bracket on the driver's side of the Mishimoto radiator. Also, several of the bolt posts that are welded onto the tanks of the Mishimoto to accommodate other coolers were too short for the factory bolts and required spacers on the bolts to prevent piercing the tank. All this was reported to Mishimoto who stated they had not heard of these issues before but would pass it on to engineering. I have not filled or run the system under pressure yet. I only hope that I addressed all the short bolt posts. Lastly, the installation instructions from Mishimoto's website appear to be generic for the year range (2003-2007) that my radiator would fit and were not totally accurate or specific to my vehicle (2004 Dodge 3500, 5.9L Cummins HO). At this point, I can't give Mishimoto my recommendations for this application due to all the above. Performance remains to be seen -?

LIES!!! Awful customer service.

I purchased a 16” racing fan which has gone faulty and stopped working. As it has a lifetime warranty I contacted Mishimoto who explained I had to pay shipping for the replacement fan, absolutely fine.
Paid for shipping back in April and have now been told 3 times over 3 months that the stock is coming in and I’ll have it in 2 weeks. LIES, LIES, LIES!!!

Absolutely shocking customer service and I do not recommend this company to anyone. Be warned, you’ll be left disappointed.
