Wallet lost on train

Wallet lost on train. Registered it as lost. Several wallets of similar description were reported as missing. However, no response from missingx. They also locked my account. How can this service be used by reputable companies. Absolute scam.

Lost iPhone in aircraft, missingx worse than useless

Lost my iPhone in/under the seat in a BA flight to Heathrow. Found out in the terminal bus, too late to return. At a Very unhelpful service desk, the lady told me to use missingx.com. Hours later I finally managed to get real help, too late. Aircraft gone, phone lost. End of story. The website is like a scam, completely unresponsive except for cross linking, no confirmation of registry, no contact mail, phone..
How can reputable companies use a website like this?

Pathetic company.

Pathetic company.. first of all no one picks up the call. I left my bag with iPAD in train and I was sure of where I missed. But didn’t get any help from company. And they are not helpful at all. UK railways should ditch this third party for poor service.

Useless company

Useless company, useless website and service. BA should ditch this organisation, if you can call it that! I left my Kindle, in a purple cover on a plane, I know exactly where I left it. So either the people cleaning the plane have taken it or the Missingx service is just no good. Very disappointed.

Thiefs

Thiefs, they took 40 USD for processing the claim that was a fault of security officer. And then when they found an item they wanted another 30 USD for me to pick my item back? Ridiculous... And then if I wouldn't go personally to the airport, they charge you another 20 USD for postal charges! That's a joke and a scam! Avoid them.

Waste of Time and NOT helpful at all

I forgot my expensive new glasses on the British Airways plane. Although I could describe exactly where I forgot them, it has been 7 weeks now and they couldn't find them. I tried their app on daily base, to realise that it wasn't working, since they posted only found items of the 1st week after my loss. They also don't add photos and describe the items vaguely. When I went to the office, the staff was not even listening properly to my description of the glasses case and weren't really keen on helping. VERY BAD SERVICE!

In a word - TERRIBLE!!!

This is the most useless service imaginable!!! They seem to have a contract with British Airways and they are taking their money and doing NOTHING!!! There is no attempt to communicate with you if you have registered something as lost. All they do is advertise their business to businesses. I would not use them if they paid me a million dollars. British Airways should get rid of them!!!! TERRIBLE!!!!

The most useless piece website

The most useless piece website. What is the actual purpose can't search for anything, search can even narrow down basic words. Filtering option is pointless and after every effort to navigate the website still ends up being useless

Impossible to communicate with anyone…

Impossible to communicate with anyone when my claim and search doesn't fit their template very well. Never heard back for ages and had to keep doing searches, eventually thought I would claim against an item although I wasn't sure it matched too well because the entries are vague. I appreciate that but you cant keep searching on every bag. absolutely hopeless.

Terrible system for British Rail

It is a disgrace that the reallocation of lost property to rail passengers is the responsibility of such a faceless, intangible corporation. No response about my lost luggage for weeks despite the fact I have reported it in as much detail as possible. What happened to a simple lost property office or helpline? It's 2022 and I couldn't be less confident that I'll get back what I'm missing.

Lost watch at security

The watch was lost at security T3.
On our return 6 weeks later, the claim was made at the office, the next day Ref No was emailed. Item was Claimed and delivered 3 days later after paying fees.
Fantastic when the system works.

Bring back Lost Property

A week? A fortnight? 3 months later? I don't believe I'll ever hear from missingx.com again. Two automated emails do not inspire me. Britain's trainlines need to ditch this global service and return to a Lost Property system. All I have to show for a 6-hour train journey London-B'ham is lost luggage
