Great photos and writing from Misspent Summers so glad I subscribed and always excited when a magazine arrives and an email pops up.

Came for Hurly Burly, stayed for everything else. The annuals are a perfect way to capture the years racing. The spirit of Dirt lives on and the quality is unsurpassed.

In years to come people will look back on the work Missspentsummers have done and rate it amongst the greats of the time. It will be spoken about in lectures and teams of scientists will spend years trying to recreate the content using AI (and they will fail). And they make great beanies too.

Love everything they produce. It’s all high quality, inspirational stuff, and their passion shines through. A lot of it is free too and what isn’t is great value. They’re also very helpful and friendly.

Simply the only spam email that is actually worth opening and reading.
The content on one email is more interesting (words and visuals) than most of what the mainstream MTB media is putting out.
Oh and the rest of their stuff is good too.

MS provide the best MTB race coverage, full stop. The photography is on point at all times; and coverage summaries provide everything you need and nothing you don’t. The annuals and books provide human stories that help weekend warriors like me remember that even the toppest athletes are people too. A focus on sustainability in the production of the product along with articles about impact further cement MS as a worthy historian to the mountain bike world.

At times editorial can be shakey - EP1 featured quite a few errors - but what’s important is the intention to keep mountain bike media honest. Along with Cranked and Sleeper.co we are really spoilt for interesting, emotionally intelligent content that isn’t all about the latest bikes, but more about the people and trails those bikes touch.

Books with photos that look like what mountain bikes feel like and articles that read like what you meant to say when you tried to explain mountain bikes to your mum and dad
