The only place I shop for Men's Clothes

Have been shopping with Mistr for just over a year now and can whole heartedly say, that, they are the best men's clothes shop I have ever shopped with and there's been a lot. They always have a great selection of styles and sizes. Special shout out to Gio in the week and Harry at the weekends at the Harpenden store who are always welcoming and couldn't do more to help. It always feels like they appreciate your custom and never take it for granted. Would thoroughly recommend.

Well I promised I would be back to buy…

Well I promised I would be back to buy some more Sandbanks and Belstaff t-shirts and polos. The prices in the MISTR SALE are by far the best against all the other online stores. Currently offering up to 60% savings. I actually called up to speak to Chantelle as she had previously been most helpful. I needed to get some idea of pit2pit measurements on some t-shirts and although it was a busy Saturday Chantelle was keen to assist. She gave great advice and explained which brands I should potentially downsize or stay true to size. I have to say Chantelle could not have been any more helpful so with the information to hand I proceeded with another order for 4 items. With the order placed I received the updates for delivery etc. I couldn't be happier with my online experience and purchases through MISTR and on both occasions Chantelle made it most pleasurable. Thank you. I'm sure I'll be back again as there is something I'm still considering....

Terrible Business

Customer service is absolutely terrible, if you have an issue with an order or an item you will see what I mean, it feels very scammy. They are all smiles while handing over your money though.

If you read the other reviews, you will see others have had a similar experience.

Sadly my experience at Mistr…

Sadly my experience at Mistr Borehamwood was not as good as one would have expected. As on the 28th Feb 2025 I purchased an Alpha Industries MA-1 NASA Skylab Flight Jacket The last one in stock of a discontinued line. But I wanted a size Medium, but the jacket was size L that was in another store, the lady said she would get the jacket to Borehamwood store so I could try it for size. Wearing the jacket with a thick hoody underneath the jacket filled out but it was still to big, the woman Chantelle at the store in Borehamwood talked me into making the purchase by saying it looked nice on me, but I was in two mines not to make the purchase as it was long on the upper body but Chantelle again said but to don't want the jacket to be on your waistline. I asked my wife who was sitting in the car outside, if it looked ok she said it was ok. the reason I was asking all these questions is because I've had a mild stroke. But after returning home I was still niggled & then tried the jacket on with only a T shirt on the bomber jacket was way to big across the shoulders & in length, it look like a sack of potatoes on me. Sadly I returned the jacket the next day/morning & within less than 24 hours of purchase to but told "we don't do refunds but we'll give you a credit note". I said I don't want a credit note as I only came to purchase the jacket as I'd seen someone at my doctors surgery wearing the same jacket & ask them wear they had purchased it, this is how I got to hear about the shop Mistr in Borehamwood. Sadly the jacket is not fit for purpose it does not fit me correctly, then the woman Chantelle tried to tell me that she told me yesterday/the day of purchase that the jacket was to big for me, which was a total lie, Because she told me it looked good on me & fitted well. I said it feels to long she said its meant to be like that you don't want it right up over your waistline, But that's how bomber jackets are meant to be. The boss did reached out to me on the phone a while later after I arrived back home, telling I'm harassing the manager Chantelle at the store as I'd left the shop & went back into the shop after walking out to my car after dropping the jacket off at the store to ask her for the Head Office Telephone number, Chantelle gave me the shop number I was in ! he said you entered into a contract with me once you gave me your money for the jacket, he came across so arrogant & unprofessional on the phone because all he wants is to keep my money & not respect the fact or wishes of the customers he became fiery on the phone saying I've been in the retail business 35 years to which I said I'm amazed it's been that long with your unprofessionalism in handling a concern I've recorded the phone calls to show his blatant rudeness, he acted like he owned some big empire like Mike Ashley, to whom I actually know personally. The guy manages & rents three shops, Yet came across with very little respect towards me as a first time buyer who had genuine concern because the jacket was clearly to big for me, does not fit correctly, & with it being an end of line product he just wanted rid of it. But he now chooses to disrespect me as a customer as like a few others who've left reviews on here it clearly show others have been let down with similar experiences. The boss told me if I had made my purchase online I would have got a refund but because I went to a store I'm not entitled to a refund but a credit note, But I only went to this store for the purpose of getting this jacket & know other reason. I rang my bank & while on the phone to this boss of Mistr but he didn't take my call because he knows my number, to which he then switched his phone to voicemail. But I left a voicemail request for the authorisation code to stop payment & my bank heard my request to cancel the purchase so they have noted this down. He's now wasting my time by forcing me to open a claim with my bank when the payment is still pending which is all unnecessary when this boss could have just refunded me & that would have been the end of this matter. But its clear he just wants to keep my money than think of customer satisfaction,. Please beware of the little card by the tills stating their terms & conditions, which is hard to notice let alone read. I was never told of the terms that I would only receive a credit note if I returned the item. The whole experience has been very disappointing that a small company would act like this & be so disrespectful towards a member of the public/customer. I will do an update sadly as I now have to get my bank involved & waste there time over a transaction that could so easily been cancelled, its not a pleasant situation to be in with a small retailer. I've purchased another jacket through Amazon Its the same Brand Name in size Large & it fits me correctly, so I'd say the jacket at Mistr tried to sell me was clearly wrongly labelled & it should be labelled as XL !!

Poor customer services

Ordered online everything was fine but the PINK T-shirt which said it was pink on the page I ordered from and said it was pink in my shopping basket and said it was pink on the invoice label turned out to be PEACH which is definitely orange.
Spoke to customer services who to cut a long story short said that they can only put a certain amount of colours on their website so decided to class peach as pink! And much to the confusion of the conversation they failed to see why I thought the T-shirt might be pink but here’s the kicker they said I can return the item at my expense as they don’t do return labels and when they get it back do a refund.
So unfortunately I can recommend using a company who operates under these policies.

Poor customer service.

Ordered an item that showed in stock. I got an email confirming my order, a few days later I didn’t get dispatch confirmation so i emailed them, 2 days later I got an email of PayPal saying I got a refund, no email confirming this from Mistr & no sorry for my inconvenience. I won’t be ordering again from them. Terrible customer service.
