Very difficult to watch preseason…

Very difficult to watch preseason baseball now on the TV or my computer. I already canceled my subscription for next year because I've already paid for this year and I'm getting nothing for it. I start watching a game on the TV it just keeps going in and out it's a little better on my computer but then all of a sudden you think you're going to a commercial and nothing and it'll come back on 3 hours later and play the game again from the beginning. MLB what are we paying for? This is ridiculous never had these problems in past seasons. I also have subscriptions to the NFL and NBA and hockey and have no problems at all. But somebody inside your organization needs to get on the programmers and get these technical things worked out so people get what their paying for. If I'm watching a game on cable through my cable subscription never a problem but when you're streaming with your MLB it's terrible.

I wanted to cancel my MLB

I wanted to cancel my MLB. When I got an email about renewal I was unable to access my account...website was down? Now they have automatically charged my credit card and even though it has been days (5) I can't cancel. I tried to call their number at 11:00 AM eastern time. Recording says I have called when they are closed and call during business hours starting at 9 AM eastern time

I had requested twice to cancel my auto renewal on their website under mlb.tv (cancel auto renewal) In plenty of time and you don’t receive an email confirmation they received it. Then I noticed a month later they billed my credit card $160. I have now wrote the complaint to them 3 more times. I have heard nothing so I will have to get my credit card company to go after them. They need to be sued for the harassment they are causing everyone.

The MLB TV app sucks

The MLB TV app sucks, getting worse every year. Features are gone, the ones that remain, like choose your inning, work like bad network crap on a good network.

WTH are you doing? Hire some real programmers who know what they're doing. Fix this CRAPPY interface before the season starts, or I will cancel your sorry butts for lying about your product. Creeps. I'm damn sick of corporate doosh bags.

Suppose to have 7 day free trial. They took off the money off my card first day. I thought it was a free trial. Iam not going to pay for preseason baseball. Unbelievable. Watch out now I have to fight to get my money back.

Many people have internet not Comcast…

Many people have internet not Comcast or other cable providers. I used to have MLB with internet and app on Roku with an id and password for the account. I wanted to watch the play offs this year. My internet speeds have improved when lowering the resolution. Hard to believe people still do not have internet in the US, but we can send billions overseas. I ordered the post season, and could not use the app because not with a cable provider. The area I live is over 200 miles from Baltimore and are blacked out. 150 from DC. Like we are close enough to rob any games to could attend live. Love watching these companies slowly put themselves out of business with wokeness and greed

I signed up for the padres stream on…

I signed up for the padres stream on the July 30th, paid for a couple months of service and then was charged a full month for service for 9/30-10/2 when there was only 3 games remaining. If someone pays $20 a month how is it fair to charge that for 3 days of service? They denied my request for any proration. Be warned make sure you cancel before the end of the season or else they’ll charge you as much as they can.

Only Spanish!! Are you kidding!!

I have no problem broadcasting in multiple languages. But if you are the MLB Network, based in the US, then don't broadcast major league games in only spanish. Broadcast in both. YOU are literally ignoring the majority of the language spoke in the country you are based. I don't pay hundreds of dollars a year to not be able to listen to a game, especially a playoff game!!

Blackout policy is a complete scam

Blackout policy was very bad in 2022, it’s even worse this year. Not being able to see regular games because they sold it to other streaming services is a disgrace. Complaints are answered after a couple of weeks including termination of your account in advance of next year. 15 years of being a subscriber is coming to an end. What a waste…

The biggest rip off streaming service of all

I live in the UK and have had MLBTV since it began. It has never been perfect, but, this year has been incredibly frustrating. I subscribe as a New York Mets fan, but, paid the extra to watch all games. But, I have been getting a message telling me I can't watch select regular season, certain events and post season games even on days like today when all games are supposed to be free to watch! Why does this happen and it's been happening since day one
Add to that the games broadcast by Peacock, ESPN and Apple TV and I'm not able to watch games I thought I paid for. There is no way fans outside the US can watch the mid season classic or the post season live because they are broadcast by pay per view services
Next season I will not be subscribing and will watch condensed games the next morning or see if I can get to watch the free games without a subscription.
Customer service is abysmal and the two stars are for when I can watch broadcast from SNY and for showing MiLB.
£150 is a lot of money and I'm no longer happy to spend it on a rip off service.

to watch baseball any app but mlb tv would be an improvement

ive been watching the la dodgers all season on MLB tv. I'm frustrated. way, way, to many commercial breaks and the same commercials repeating themselves over and over. many times these commercials are playing and I'm missing parts of the game. maybe the most frustrating part is that after the commercials it reverts to "this event will start shortly". Then I have to refresh by hitting the "live button". This happens about 15 times during the span of a game.

Can't watch your team

I got MLB TV to watch the Cubs and Sox games because I live in Indianapolis and their not available here. I subscribed to MLB and their trial. During the trial all Cubs and Sox games played perfectly BUT, after the trial was over and they got their monthly fee all my games were blacked out. I got their service because I wanted to watch my teams, I'm sure that's why anyone would want their service. Everything is fine until you pay them and then your screwed. Looks like a big scam to me, so now I know how they make their money. MLB TV is a joke, why would anyone want to subscribe to the service if you can't watch your team. Needless to say I dropped it immediately. I wouldn't waste my money on anything you can see on sports center.

Not a good faith operator

Not a good faith operator. They only provide a fraction of the games that they imply they will deliver because of blackout rules, rights to games sold to other streaming services, and general unreliability of the service.

Too many blackouts..

MLB raised their subscription price. It has blackouts for both Ohio teams. It does not include the world series games. Cancelled our subscription for 2024.

The app is often down

The app is often down. This is a years long known problem. 70% of the games I wanted to watch so far this year are blacked out. MLB selling games to Bally, Apple, Amazon etc have frozen out long time loyal supporters. The subscription does not include playoff games.
MLB phone in customer service is literally Comcast now. No one has a clue, the streaming problems don't get fixed and somehow I still haven't gotten that promised callback yet.
Endless woke stupidity continues to ruin what was once a viable product. Even at the $35 post all star game price it's not worth it.

If you are a Braves fan……DO NOT…

If you are a Braves fan……DO NOT PURCHASE!!! There hasn’t been one game televised since the all star break. EVERY game is blacked out. I paid money to listen to the games in a 10 second delay from the actual radio broadcast. The bad part is…I paid for a year. Now it’s just a waste of money. It’s all a scam! It’s set up to MAKE you get a cable or dish subscription to see your team. I’m not sure who owns MLBTV. But it’s not MLB, I think it’s Bally sports.

Terrible in every way you can imagine

For one thing, one is the minimum star you can give. You can't give zero stars, so you have to assume if you are getting an average of one star, everyone hates you.

Two, the customer support is non-existent. If they respond to you. It's with an automated message telling you how valuable your input is. They never do anything.

Three. The software cuts in and out, it freezes all the time, and it's not my internet no. No because everything else works fine and my internet is great. Is MLB, they have no clue how to write software. And this makes it frustrating to watch a game because right in the middle of the game they will cut out and send you back to the very start for no reason.

Finally, the charge you for a full season but don't show you a full season because they force you to sign up with Apple or peacock or NBC or whoever to watch a game, but even when you sign up with them, you have to pay in order to get there games. I don't want to pay another provider to pay for something I already paid MLB for.

And the software just sometimes fails for no reason and you have to reinstall it. Or you can't watch a game. I will never ever ever sign with these people again.

I mean, there's more but what's the point? It's not like they care.

I never EVER leave reviews but MLBTV is…

I never EVER leave reviews but MLBTV is SO SO bad that you don't want to subscribe to this. Save yourself the headache and time. No matter where you live you will not be able to see your designated team due to "blackout restrictions" that don't relate to where you live. I live in Boston, follow the NYY and if they play, for example, the Angels or any other team I'll get a blackout notice. And, I'm not talking about a game that is being broadcasted on ESPN, FOX, national TV or Boston (which is understandably a blackout area due to the Red Sox -- although this is a streaming service but whatever). Each day I have to call customer service for help. They will give you a song and dance about checking the IP address. Then they will tell you it's your service provider. They will get it up and running for you today, but the problem comes back tomorrow. And good luck trying to get a refund. Once they have your money you cannot get it back. Trust me, don't get MLBTV. This is my final year of dealing with this nonsense. My rating is actually a ZERO.
