These people are absolute scammers, they falsely advertise items are in stock with misleading lead times, I have contacted them for a update on the order and they are claiming that their site I down..

I have contacted them multiple times for a refund and I have not even gotten a response back.

I can't even report to Shopify because their forms aren't working

Ordered a battery with a ten day delivery stated on the website. 10 days later no word from this company and no battery. Contacted them after 2 weeks to ask for a refund, guess what way past the stated refund period and still waiting for the refund. I am not waiting, charge back initiated on my credit card. No point in trying to deal with companies like this. V disappointed.

Do not use. 3 months, cancelled order, no refund, plenty excuses, no response to emails and no intention to correct the issue. Rip off merchants

Don't buy anything there. I tried three times and they never even sent an email about the product, no tracking code, and they never shipped the product. I always have to send an email requesting a cancellation.

Waited nearly a year for a part, every time I asked for an updated expected delivery date they estimated 1-3 weeks and it never came and they never offered updates or info. Finally requested to cancel the order and get a refund in November and I am still waiting to receive my refund as of March 3. They claim the refund was initiated but it’s been 5 months, I should have receive the money by now. Do not order from them.

Collective Statement from ML Performance Customers – DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

We are a growing group of ML Performance customers who have all experienced the same pattern of behaviour, and we are speaking out together so future customers know exactly what is happening.
Across our group, the same issues repeat again and again:
Items advertised as “in stock” suddenly become “delayed” only after payment is taken.
Customers receive the same scripted emails asking for VIN numbers, followed by long gaps in communication.
After weeks or months of delays, customers cancel their own orders because nothing is being delivered.
Refunds are promised within 7–14 working days, but almost nobody receives them.
When customers chase refunds, we are met with the same excuses every time:
“Parts delay”
“Supplier issues”
“Our system is down, we can’t process refunds”
“Your money is traceable and protected”
“This is not fraud or a scam”
“Escalating publicly or legally will complicate things”
“Please contact your bank to trace the refund”
“We do not tolerate false allegations”
Many customers are told they must sign forms, accept conditions, or agree to statements before a refund will even be considered — conditions that have no basis in UK consumer law.
Some customers are told refunds were “processed,” yet no proof, no transaction ID, and no bank trace ever exists.
Others are warned not to post publicly, even though they are simply asking for their money back.
Because of these repeated issues, many customers have had to escalate through their bank or credit card provider, and a significant number have reported their cases to Trading Standards, Action Fraud, and the police. New customers are joining our group every single day with the same experience.
We are posting this collectively because the pattern is too widespread to ignore.

Despite reassuring messages re my battery order and taking my money in full . ML Performance needed chasing all the time. I paid for express delivery , and after 4 days I started chasing the battery I had ordered and paid for . A few days later they admitted that despite their emails about how they were going to dispatch my purchase...It never appeared. I demanded full repayment....their reply was total silence....no emails ...no repayment nothing. They are rip off monkeys who actually should be raided by trading standards. They are just a web page. Do nt trust them and do nt use their services.

It is now over 4 months since I was promised a refund for goods that they listed as "in stock" but couldn't supply.
A bunch of thieves who need to be prosecuted !
Time to get BBC Watchdog on the case !

This company has almost £500 of my money and not supplied the parts. Will not answer phone, and when emailed, they give the excuse that their systems are down. Bollocks. Avoid like the plague!

If I could rate less then one star I would .

I ordered product with them on on January 1st 2026.

After a week they sent me an email stating the parts would be around 3-4 longer after this is initially telling me they would be 7days .

I requested the order to be canceled and a refund issued to which they agreed .

It is now march 3rd and I have had no refund . All I have had is excuses . The best one was that Shopify was down and they couldn’t see the order to refund .

This is not a small amount of money we are talking here .

I am now taking this to the ombudsman and a small claim court .

I would recommend that you steer well clear of this shady outfit . They don’t seem to stock any products themselfs and I suspect once they get an order they then try to find somewhere there had the item for them to buy and then re sell .

Ordered engine oil 1st feb after 2 weeks of waiting I contacted customer services which I was told it would take 4 I then asked for a refund it now the 3 of March and I’m getting told there system is down don’t not buy anything from this clown of a company

WISH I SAW THE REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING FROM THEM ! SAME THING THEY DONT HAVE STOCK BLA BLA...AVOID !

It's not good to order, they write me part wasn't in stock and I can read English good. it was in stock and now they are telling me 3-4 weeks and I ordered 4 weeks ago it means 2 months for part. After I read another experience 😂 I think I will not receive this part. Just give for charity. My opinion it's Sh** company if you doing car project and you need trustful parts delivery.

Stay well clear of these clowns.
As youll see with these reviews they just order everything from China then tell everyone it wasnt in stock.
If you want to wait months for a fake item buy from these crooks.

Ordered and paid for product. Said part was not available after taking funds.
Would not return funds. After several months and a Paypal case was opened finally received return of funds from Paypal.
This company is a SCAM!!

I can only add my own tale of woe in the hope that potential victims read this first or that somehow this business is held to account!
This is a complete scam - I purchased a set of Powerflex suspension bushes in October 2025 and proceeded to strip my suspension down and place my car on jack stands while awaiting delivery.
Inevitably like all the other tales on this review site I was fobbed off with various stories of how they would be there soon, how they had changed supplier, etc, etc.
Eventually it twigged and I saw the terrible reviews.
I contacted Powerflex, and they informed me that they are the sole UK distributor of these parts, and that MLP do not have a contract to supply, therefore the order was never going to fulfilled.
I cancelled the order in December 2025 and still don't have a refund despite all the standard utter rubbish from MLP about systems being down, about it having been processed there end etc, etc, all utter lies.
I thankfully paid on credit card so have raised a complaint to be refunded.
I also purchased the items directly from Powerflex who supplied them within 2 days so I could get my car back on the road!
These items that they cannot supply are still advertised for sale on the website!

Placed order #MLP169720 on December 23, 2025 — item never shipped. Seller confirmed cancellation on February 4, 2026 and promised a refund within 12–14 working days.

It’s now March 1, 2026, and no refund has been received. Slow communication, broken promises, and no resolution.

Avoid this store — unreliable and unprofessional.

Order never arrived, didnt answer phone or emails
Best advice is to use a credit card or Paypal and lodge a claim; Paypal refunded me immediatly

I placed an order a few days ago. I phoned to find out its status. The phone rang a few times and they cut it off a number of times. This could be a scam site.
