Ordered an item from these and got an email after chasing to advise it was out of stock so asked for a refund 5 weeks ago which we have now chased 3 times via email and their online chat and just get told they will look into it and send an email but just being ignored

I want to save other customers the frustration and financial stress I have endured. Please read this before placing an order with MLPerformance.
I ordered a Haltech UC-10 in December 2025 and paid in full. What followed was months of deliberate deflection, false assurances, and complete disregard for basic customer service. Every time I followed up I was told my order was progressing. It was not. After months of persistent chasing I finally uncovered the truth. MLPerformance had never placed the order with their supplier at any point. Not once. My money sat with this company for months while absolutely nothing was being done.
This is not an isolated incident. I have since connected with other customers who have experienced the exact same pattern; payment taken, orders never actioned, vague updates designed to buy time rather than provide genuine information. This appears to be a systemic issue with how this business operates, not a one-off fulfilment error.
The communication throughout was unacceptable at every level. No one flagged the problem unprompted. No alternatives were offered. Honest answers only came after relentless pressure and even then, no meaningful resolution was proposed.
To any customer currently waiting on an order from MLPerformance, do not wait any longer. Contact your bank or payment provider and initiate a chargeback immediately. Keep every email, message, and receipt. Do not rely on verbal reassurances.
To anyone yet to place an order, there are reputable, accountable performance parts suppliers out there. Based on my experience and the experiences of others I have spoken to, I cannot in good conscience recommend MLPerformance as one of them.
MLPerformance: I have documented every interaction in full. I am actively pursuing a complete refund and have reported this matter to the relevant consumer protection authority. Scammers!!!!!! Scammers!!!!! Avoid!!!!

I've had nothing but trouble since purchase, order delayed on multiple occasions, when asking for a refund their payment system is down. Payment made in Dec 25, chased until 20th March and put a dispute with the bank for fraud. Nothing is in stock, questionable business tactics and outsourced support which constantly reply of delays to shipment, refund etc.

Placed an order for next day delivery, no tracking number given waited in all day next day I Phoned numerous times rings select option you want then your on hold for one minute and 30seconds then cuts off.no reply from live chat or emails
But can put post on their facebook page. STAY AWAY AND DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Ordered a BMW part on 9th Feb 26, they promised to deliver within 3 weeks. Nothing delivered, after another 3 weeks requested for a refund and got refund confirmation but no refund, looks like I’ve been scammed. I have been trying to contact them but no luck via email, phone or chat.

ML Performance has shown a shocking lack of professionalism. Since January, there has been no proper update, no resolution, an extremely long lead time, and still no refund £145.40. To this day, I have not received any money back. Once they take your money, do not expect accountability or even basic customer service. Absolutely unacceptable.

if i could i would give 0 star , after ordering one mhd adapter and waiting to receive it for 4 months yet they never answer my phon e and not even giving the money back , never buy anything from them.

PLEASE LISTEN to all the reviews. I became yet another victim, attracted by the low prices for ‘in stock’ items. Waited 6 weeks and was told the items still weren’t in stock, so cancelled my order and now can’t get my money back (£410). The company claim their ‘system is down’ or there’s been a ‘payment glitch’ and have now stopped responding to me. It’s been 3 months of me emailing multiple times per week. I will reclaim the money via my credit card company, but will continue to pursue the company in light of all other customers experiencing similar issues - they cannot continue to get away with theft and fraud so publicly. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Systems down!

Terrible company, avoid. Ordered a part on the 6th of February, unable to provide an ETA due to systems being down requested a refund and I'm still waiting. They are unable to process a refund due to a system being down.

Ordered parts in December and was only ever updated if I chased them. After the 4th delay I am requesting a refund as its clear they do this to all customers.

They're a scam. Don't buy from them. I tried to buy an Aston Martin part that their website said was in stock. After a week or so, they said it wasn't in stock. I canceled the order and after several weeks and multiple emails they haven't issued a refund and give me one lame excuse after another. Fortunately I used AMEX for they payment and they gave me a credit. Save yourself some grief and don't buy from these people.

I’ve ordered three times now. The first time I received the item.
Second time the order for the “In stock” item was cancelled by myself after ML said it would be a further three weeks in addition to the four I’d already waited.
And the third time again cancelled by myself after going two weeks over the initial dispatch time.
If you actually want to receive your order just go elsewhere.

Ordered Oil with a 2-3 week lead time,,, 4 mths later canceled as nothing in sight, with now a further 2 week delay for a refund. NOT impressed,

ML Performance are nothing short of fraudulent thieves.
I qualify this ..I purchased a K+N Filter in January...no sign of the filter and no refund as I subsequently requested.
I have email thread of some 26 e-mails.
Subsequently I ordered the filter from K+N direct and it was with me in 1 week.
I have seen many negative reviews where customers have paid and received zero goods.
I must warn you to very careful when dealing with ML Performance.
I suspect I will not be seeing my refund of over £50.00.
Nice way to treat a pensioner.

purchased service parts for my car last December still haven't anything arrived. Messaged company didn't even bother fixing anything just messaged back it takes time to be delivered.
