This Sammy person seems to be using a service that trawls databases, matches entries from the web to entries from Companies House and sends out hilariously bad spam emails. He sent an email telling me my own company's CH url (thanks, I'm well aware of it) and claimed my accounts are due to be filed at the end of this month (actually they're due at the end of 2026 but thanks for trying).

Then a scary part IN BOLD about how I could be fined £150 for late filing (thanks again, I'm quite aware of this and that's why my accountant already filed months ago).

Since he finds Companies House so useful I thought I'd look him up there. It turns out he's been at the helm of three accountancy companies that have been struck off in the last four years alone! The company registration numbers are 13012719, 15001645 and 15576500.

How am I going to trust someone to do my company's books when he clearly isn't fit to be anywhere near a business?

Terrible accountant, do not use.

I'm an accountant who is now working with one of their ex-clients. The records are terrible, payroll has not been processed correctly and with no understanding of the UK tax system.

They only correspond by email and WhatsApp, not able to speak on the phone...

DO NOT use this company.

I keep getting emails from 'Sammy' who keeps emailing me about my 'Ltd businesses' accounts and calling me a females name.

I have replied each time 'Firstly, who is (the name they calls) me?
Please don’t just go onto Companies House and find businesses and then a website with the same name.

This is (my sole trader's name), not (who she's looking) Limited. 'Our business name' was a sole trader/self-employed web designer for 2 years and was never a limited company. That company was then rebranded, still sole trader/self-employed and not on Companies House.

We use our ‘professional’ accountant', we paid our taxes for (business name) and still use the same accountants under our rebranded company to continue to pay out taxes on time'.

Yet I get the same 'spam/nuisance email every week and I am tired of replying.

If they cannot get basic emails, companies or bother to read replies I dread to think how bad they are with anyone's books.

I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional accountant services provided by Sammy. His expertise, attention to detail and efficiency was the best I’ve experienced.
