If there was a lower than 1 star I'd …

If there was a lower than 1 star I'd select it. Paid via Visa for product and paid extra for fast shipping. That was weeks ago and I have recieved NOTHING. I've rang... always an answer phone... I've emailed direct and thought the website... Nothing. No replies. This is a scam company do not pay by card. Call before you buy and you'll see there is no one there.

Bad customer service

Bad customer service. They're good at start when I first messaged them. Later these guys and started ignoring my email. It's been a month now, And I didn't even received a single email from them. Plus they have started ignoring my refund email. Need to report them in consumer court. This is a bogus website.

AVOID!

I ordered a Sony Xperia X on Monday 17th April. All seemed well and received the emails to say that they processing the order and will email when it has been dispatched. 5 days later, I am still waiting for the despatch email, so I use their chat on the website.
The customer service girl was very polite to start with, until I asked where my phone is, then her attitude changed.
Here is a transcript of what was said:

Winny D - OU (16:34:12): Thank you for contacting MobiCity UK. My name is Winny. Hi Rob.
Winny D - OU (16:35:55): It's been a pleasure to help you.

Rob (16:36:52): Hello

Winny D - OU (16:38:39): Hi upon checking here that the order is still under Checked and Process status.
Winny D - OU (16:39:22): We have sent an email follow up to our Purchasing Team. Once we receive a response by Monday we will inform you immediately.

Rob (16:40:15): it is taking a long time. I would have got it somewhere else if I knew it was going to take this long.

Winny D - OU (16:40:51): We apologize for the delay.

Rob (16:41:44): so you think it might be Monday that it gets sent?

Winny D - OU (16:42:48): By Monday we will know the updates about your order.

Rob (16:43:53): is it normal to take this long to post an order?

Winny D - OU (16:44:45): It actually depends on the availability of the item you order.

Rob (16:46:24): if the item is not available, should it not say at the time 'out of stock'?
Rob (16:48:01): sorry, im just confused at why is takes a long time to dispatch an item. I have ordered stuff from all over the world, and it has never taken this long to dispatch an item.

Winny D - OU (16:50:17): During the time you ordered the item it is available. However, the system was not able to anticipate the high demand of the item.

Rob (16:55:08): Is really in high demand? It was first released last June. I am just worried now that this is a bogus website

Winny D - OU (16:55:53): Our company is bonafide kindly check this link to know more about us at the Mobiciti frequently asked questions.
Winny D - OU (16:58:38): Is there anything else I can do for you?

Rob (16:59:08): No thanks, I will read the link and see what happens on Monday

I'm still waiting for it to be despatched..

Still want to order something from here?
Thought not.

Absolutely useless company, not worth the potential saving at all

Absolutely useless, their system doesn't update to reflect current stock, in fact nine times out of ten the item you order isn't in stock and they make you wait.

Twice I was told a product was In stock, only to find that upon chasing the order, that it was out of stock the whole time and "their system didn't account for demand"

The customer service team have no real power to help you beyond reading whats on the screen. I was lied to on at least 4 occasions, given incorrect timescales and they even attempted to give me a £5 coupon by way of apology, but you get that just from signing up with them so it hold no real value.

I was promised call backs that were missed, I was given Incorrect information about billing and charges and even quoted incorrect prices.

All in all a horrible service, I would 100% avoid, they have no ability to provide any level of customer satisfaction and have still to this date failed to even respond to my complaint email.

A terrible company and not worth any potential saving you may make.

MobiCity

MobiCity, what a shambles. I paid for an "Instock" iPhone 7 and 3 weeks later it still had not arrived, although I was now getting a considerable amount of junk mail from them. I contacted their customer services, which take days to respond, and was told there was a delay and it would be with me within the next week. Well it didn't arrive, it didn't arrive after the next estimated slot or the one after that. At no time did anybody contact me about the delay, it was left to me to chase them. You simply can not get anybody on the phone, its an answer phone message that says send an e mail.

I expected better when I had handed over £650, but clearly they care little for customer satisfaction. I have requested a refund after 8 weeks waiting. Which, in all fairness they appeared to be happy with the refund request. Its a shame as their prices were really good, shame their customer service doesn't match.

In summary, tread carefully as customer service is dreadful.

Nice new product - happy :-)

Ordered a Samsung Galaxy S7. It was an unlocked version as I needed to change networks and have been let down badly by EE and CPW couldn't get me the tariff I wanted. Had a little time before I needed the phone so tried Mobicity as prices are very competitive and by using a credit card I had the extra assurance that if anything did go wrong I could get my money back (chargeback or section 75).
I have given 4 stars purely because the delivery took a little longer than I expected and hoped, though not by much (2 days). That said, the tracking information, once it became available, was very helpful.
I am very happy with the phone. It came with an extra plug adapter that wasn't needed as the plug in the box was a UK plug.

Bought as a Christmas present from day …

Bought as a Christmas present from day 1 nothing but trouble with the samsung j3 pro .There was a security alert on it all the time .The date and time would not work and stay the same date or time all the time. The instructions were in Indian and one of the apps was UC Indian news.
Got in touch with them and was asked to photograph the faults and was ask to do a factory reset ,still had the same problems.I returned the phone on the 1st Feb by special delivery and heard nothing.I emailed them and they did confirm they had received the phone. after several emails. On the 2nd Feb it was received by them as I had tracked the phone..eventually it was sent to Hong Kong ,they are telling me there is nothing wrong with the phone and they want me to pay £29 to have the phone returned.
Firstly why would I say there is a problem with the phone ,I have the same model which I bought from a reputable phone shop in the UK and I have no problems with my phone.
I have looked on Companies house register and it is stating the Mobicity UK ltd was DISSOLVED in June 2016 and I ordered this phone in December 2016. TO ME THAT IS MISLEADING THE CONSUMER.
Just had a reply from Milky Way they will not refund my money because they say there are scratches on it ,as soon as we got the phone it was put into a sealed cover to protect the phone so what they are saying because it is scratched THAT'S WHY THE PHONE DOES NOT WORK IN THE UK. ,SO THERE YOU GO ,WHAT A PATHETIC EXCUSE!!!!

2 days over due

The product was 2 days passed the expected date. However on saying that I cannot blame the company as the postal service had it on their premises longer than expected. The product was as good as advertised and I would definitely recommend Mobicity UK to all of my friends and will be using them again.

Sold products without in their hand

I purchased a mobile. Lead delivery time was 2 weeks. After 18 days of selling they are still waiting for the manufacture to confirm availability of goods. This is prohibited to sell according to EU/UK regulations. They can only sell once they got in their Warehouse.

I am very disappointed. Now they asking me whether I want to Cancel the order? How dare it is. So ridiculous.

Also they are not trading in UK. So why are they using .co.uk website and misleading customers. We have to raise this concern

Phone never arrived and still awaiting refund, despite having purchased the additional insurance option

The service from this Hong Kong based company has been disgraceful, and still I wait for a refund for an item I never received. The process and service has been terrible from start to finish.
The delivery lead times on the website are misleading, saying 8 days, but note that this is 8 days following dispatch! It takes them 3 weeks to dispatch the item.
The sequence of events are as follows:
a) I ordered a phone on 27 January 2017. I also paid for the additional lost/damaged insurance for a cost of £5. They processed the payment immediately.
b) 9 February, I still not had a dispatched notification, so I contacted Mobicity and asked to cancel the order.
c) The service desk said that I could not cancel because it had already been dispatched. On 10 February I received a dispatch notification. Coincidence?
d) 23rd February, still no item, which was supposedly delivered by Royal Mail and tracked. I contacted Mobicity service desk.
e) After continuous chasing, Mobicity confirmed the item as lost on 3rd March.
f) 21 March - I am still chasing for a refund for the lost phone. I have since needed to purchase another phone from a local highstreet store. Mobicity are claiming that they are still filing for a refund with the courier. However, I do not understand how this is relevant to me, considering I paid extra for insurance!!!

The only conclusion I can draw from this episode is that Mobicity are incapable of fulfilling orders and providing bog-standard level of service, and the additional insurance they sell you is a con!

Do not buy from Mobicity. Pay extra to buy from a reputable local supplier.

49 days of nothing

1.2. Order confirmed
2.2. Invoice from MobiCity
3.2. Order has been processed
18.2. Ordered item that we have on hand did not pass the QC check as the box was dented hence we could not send it out
23.2. New order has been processed with 0.25% discount
7.3. Order is now ready for delivery
16.3. Unfortunately the overall volume of last-minute orders has exceeded all expectations, causing some unexpected delays in the delivery.
16.3. Order canceled
21.3. Received refund

Support is ok but logistics are terrible. If you have 2 or 3 months to wait to save 100$ go for it.

Utter canine excrement

Order number: RMA502-5375-1

I bought an Oneplus 3t from this website. It was listed as an international model, and the page stated that it was compatible with all UK bands.
However, they shipped (arrived > 2 weeks later) a Chinese model (a reflashed model), in an unsealed box, complete with fingerprint marks. This model of the phone is not compatible will all UK mobile networks, so not the model advertised.
I asked to return the phone in an unused condition - the next day.
However, the merchant refused to accept the return request for another 4 days...
They received the item on the 6th March. It has now been 2 weeks and they still haven't refunded my money. It has been over a month since I made the initial order.

DO NOT buy from here.

what a bad joke

Placed an order 2 weeks ago, trying to get in touch with them to find out why my order hasn't even been dispatched yet. If I'm lucky I'll get my order dispatched by the end of summer so I'll have a new phone for Xmas. Claiming 3-7 working days on their website for the dispatch. 9 working days past and still no order dispatched or at least an email from them to apologise or to update me on the current situation. Biggest mistake ever, for £20 cheaper price I have to go through all this? Never ever again

Worse Customer service ever!!!

Ordered a Sony Smart watch. Took 3 weeks to come. Needed to return it...sent it back. They have received the item yet it is now 4 weeks and still no refund! Try and talk to an agent and they just fob you off or not reply. Even when they do reply their English is so poor you can't understand what they have wrote.

Excellent value and good customer service

I purchased an Asus Zenfone Max from mobicity. After my purchase I looked at the reviews of the web site as it suddenly occurred to me that perhaps the price was too good to be true. I was a little concerned to say the least when I saw many very negative reviews and didn't hold much hope for receiving the item which was not even in stock. When I contacted customer services via live chat I was promised an email the next day providing progress on my order. The email arrived and said the item was being acquired. Eventually I was given a date for delivery, being a Sunday by Royal Mail, so my suspicions rose again ie. call centre fobbing me off. However on the Monday to my utter surprise the item arrived complete with UK adaptor. It seems to be an original new item and all is working great. The tracking system is great but I would be nice if a Royal Mail tracking number could be provided as that would give customers more trust.

Patience pays, if you have one.

Ordered Zenphone Max 2016 on 10 Feb, got mail on 12 feb that my order has been processed. On 18 Feb got mail that my order has been shipped and I will receive it by 25th Feb. On 26th Feb, I got my order. Going by the review its worth to take a risk. If you have patience and can wait, this site is for you. If you can;t wait longer than week than stick to ebay, some of the suppliers there do order stuff from China and their delivery is pretty faster than mobicity.
