Sent in my iPhone 15pro in fantastic condition. Website states good condition is: “ Excellent working condition
Minor signs of use—has superficial scratches but no defects, chips, or dents
Original battery with above 80% capacity
Free of defects, including white spots, screen burn-in, and water damage
No financial obligations, leases, or contracts associated”
Phone was evaluated @ $790 with comments “Ding and discoloration on the volume up and down buttons” with “ We kindly ask you to visit our office to collect your device or we can return the devices to you at your expense for a fee of $10.” As my only option if I don’t agree
Titanium button, phone always in a case? For all I know it’s dirty, but I’m effectively being held ransom with a 10 dollar fee to return, which is not documented anywhere on the website, or conveniently 20 dollars off what apparently good. Even based on the definition of good, I should get $810.
The business model is clearly built around you sending your device off and having no choice but to accept a reduced offer or paying fees not clearly defined on the website.

Great experience
Such an easy and quick process from start to finish. Great communication and payment was received quicker than I expected. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend to anyone wanting to sell a phone.
DON’T EXPECT TO GET THE ITEM YOU…
DON’T EXPECT TO GET THE ITEM YOU ORDER!!!!!!!!!
Brought a 2024 MacBook Pro with M4 Pro chip, 24gb of ram. After getting and checking the laptop it was only base m4 chip with 16gb of Ram. Not what I purchased or Ordered.
When I contacted support was basically told stiff sh** get a refund or keep it.
Wouldn’t recommend and a huge hassle considering you don’t get what you pay for.
Lost a device and wont answer calls
After sending 5 devices in june, its now 14th october and they have...
1. lost one of my devices
2. Claming that one devices is still locked to my icloud (despite me showing them multiple times in photos that the devices no longer exists in our icloud and images of the fully reset phone.
3. Repeatedly hangup on phone calls to support
4. Never reply to the email i send!
DO NOT USE THEMMMMM
IPhone 14 Pro "deep scratches"
I wish I had seen the other 1-star reviews before I sent my device in to mobile guru. The phone was mint condition in the original box and thankfully I took photos the night before I posted it. When they assessed it, they offered me $500 vs $640 I was quoted on the website. They stated the device had deep scratches as well as battery under 80%. Their website never mentions if capacity is consideration to drop the value.
I paid the return postage cost and now they're magically revising their offer but it's still almost $100 less than what was advertised. I want to see what condition my device arrives back in.
I do not recommend this company.

All seemed very professional...until...
All seemed very professional until I sent in my phone. Mint condition S23 Ultra, lived in a protective Spigen case all its life, literally not a mark on it - so much so, that I only realised the original plastic film was still on the top, bottom and sides of the phone while preparing it for shipping (which I then removed). Bubble-wrapped to within an inch of its life and posted (along with the Spigen case, which was no longer needed).
A few days later, I got the appraisal email - "Scratches and dents on the housing"...then I watched the accompanying video. The screen showed my serial number (to "prove" it was my phone, I guess), then over the next 30 seconds, many close ups of the edges and corners and rear, showing many dings, dents, scratches and long-term wear.
The phone in the video had never seen a case in its life.
It can't be an honest mistake, as per the serial number.
Now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. Either I dispute the condition, they deny any impropriety, and that abomination gets sent back to me instead of my actual phone. Or, I accept their greatly reduced offer. Since I couldn't prove otherwise, I had no choice. Whichever Mobile Guru tech sent me that video obviously knew this.
There's no recourse. If I email or phone, I'd likely just be dealing with the same unconscionable "human".
I know Mobile Guru will likely call this sour grapes, upset with the offer, etc etc, but as I mentioned, the condition discrepancy was night and day and was without a doubt a deliberate deception.
If I didn't see it for myself, I wouldn't have believed it. A friend who knew the condition of my phone was stunned, as he was the one who recommended them to me as he'd used them before without issue, and was ready to sell another of his mobiles to them. The Mobile Guru appraisal video of the phone certainly changed his mind.
Needless to say, my recommendation is to stay as far away as you can from Mobile Guru.
Response to Mobile Guru's reply:
As per your reply on Google reviews, you are trying to gaslight me. Considering you called me in response to my review, and here now claim it to be fake is extremely telling. You know perfectly well I am your customer and my Order number is #47805. It is not fraudulent, nor have I mistaken yours for another business. I stand by everything I have said in my review about your dishonest practices. You said during our phone discussion that you have CCTV monitoring at all times - in which case I defy you to show every frame of that CCTV footage from the opening of my package that contained my phone, right up to the point the video was created that showed the condition of the phone about which I mentioned in my review.

This company has purchased 4 of my…phones
This company has purchased 4 of my phones, and I have had no problems in the past! However I made a dreadful error and didn’t unlock my phone and they kindly guided me online to correctly unlock it any other company could not be bothered. 10 out of 10 the only concern I had/have is the screen on my phone was NOT broken/scratched when it left here and yet it was when they examined it. It was in a box wrapped in bubble wrap in a larger box filled with padding, must have been badly handled by Australia Post sorry guys, thank you for being so good and like I said 10 out of 10 for service OUTSTANDING
