Scammers Preying on the elderly.

Mobility Care cold-called my very eldery mother after buying her data from an insurance company. First of all they gave the impression that they were connected to the local council, and then they convinced her to get a home visit from someone to sell her a mattress, even after she stated she didn't want a mattress and didn't want to pay for anything. Trying to contact them to cancel this appointment led to unanswered calls, so consequently I'm left to deal with the cockroach that intends to push her into a sale for his slimy commission. He's hoping he's going to meet an elderly confused lady to flog her a mattress, but instead he's going to meet her angry son who is going to tell him exactly where to stick his mattress. Avoid these scammers, they are preying on the elderly and vunerable.

Update : The salesman who visited my mother today was reasonable and calm when I detailed the situation, he listened patiently to my complaints, including me mentioning that any further communication from this company would be considered harrassment and reported to the police. We shook hands after our 1 minute conversation and he left with no escalation in the situation. I was left with the strong impression that it wasn't the first time he was met by an angry relative rather than a vunerable elderly person.

We purchased an electric wheel chair…

We purchased an electric wheel chair for my father, the whole process from ordering to delivery went well, even when we had to reschedule the delivery. It was delivered by Bailey who was friendly, very competent and took the time to explain everything about the chair to us. A problem free purchase and delivery.

Left elderly, vulnerable lady in tears

Left elderly, vulnerable lady crying!
My mother in law ordered a chair and it wasn't suitable - apparently they had delivered the wrong one and would send the correct chair. They didn't tell her when they were coming, The new chair was also no good! They used her phone to call their office and kept telling her to wiggle back and sit on it properly. This was not the chair she ordered. They took them both away and when she asked if they would put her old chair back, they said "no you cancelled the order". They walked out and left an elderly, vulnerable lady with severe mobility issues crying in the middle of the room. Luckily a neighbour heard her shouting for help and sorted the old chair out for her. This is shocking and despicable. No care or compassion. They have provided a refund but put the phone down on her the next day.

Do not deal with this company - they will treat you or your elderly relatives with complete distain

UPDATED - just had a call from Kieron at this company. Nasty piece of work - going to sue me for slander because of this review! He admitted that he hadn't made any enquiries with his delivery drivers!!! This after he called my mother in law for our number!!! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

Zero customer service

Zero customer service, especially from the “owner” Aaron Johnson- no after care, no empathy as the reason for getting in touch was to ask a simple question, and no response to 3 emails to be told “if you’ve had no reply it’s because we’re not interested”
A simple acknowledgment as common courtesy was all anyone would expect- not this level of service

Zero After-Sales Care

Waiting for nearly five months for a service of the scooter they very quickly sold me a year ago (which was over priced and the part exchange price they gave me was a joke). I had the experience of no one answering the phones or returning messages, then it was a case of “the engineer’s are very busy”, “yes, you’re on the list”, etc. etc. Then I get a phone call and I think, finally I’m getting a date for the service… nope, they want to send the saleswoman to sell me another scooter!!! They have zero after-sales care. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
