After 3 years we had small cracks in the inside of the watercontainer. First reaction was that this would be part of the 5 yr warranty. Final outcome was that we paid about 100 EUR to replace the container... For no reason moccamaster excluded the warranty explaining that we had to pay for the work and shipping?! Machine was each 3 months cleaned with prescribed product...
Moccamaster is the best service, they repaired my coffee maker free and even paid for the postage. Moccamaster is worth the money and makes excellent coffee.
As a family of coffee enthusiasts, we were excited to purchase the Moccamaster 79322 KBGT, based on a high recommendation from my brother who owns an earlier model. Unfortunately, our experience has been nothing short of disappointing.
Despite experimenting with different coffee beans, water qualities (including bottled water), and multiple grind settings, we have been unable to produce good quality coffee with this machine. Given the high cost of this premium product, our expectations were not met.
The situation was further exacerbated by poor customer service. When we approached the reseller to discuss a return, they directed us to contact the manufacturer. However, the manufacturer stated that the responsibility lies with the reseller. This back-and-forth has left us without any resolution, and neither party has taken responsibility for the issue.
It is extremely frustrating to invest in an expensive product and receive such inadequate support. We expected much better customer service for a premium brand like Moccamaster.
First, the Moccamaster coffee machine are made in Europe, which is highly appreciated nowadays. But the coffee is just perfect, every cup is such a pleasure. I have my own machine for some time now, and this year for Christmas I offered one machine to my mum. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong colour by mistake, and it didn't match with her kitchen. So I contacted the support at Moccamaster, and they were really helpful in the process of exchanging the machine for another color (yellow pepper).
