Shoppers Beware - Bad Experience
Really disappointing experience with both product quality and customer service.
I received an item that had a clean cut directly through the middle of the garment, making it completely unwearable right out of the package. I contacted customer service immediately and provided photos, assuming this would be a straightforward situation where they would stand behind the product they shipped.
Instead, I was told the damage “appeared to be caused by a sharp object” and therefore did not qualify for a refund. To even have the item inspected, I was asked to pay to ship the damaged product back to them myself. After going through the hassle of sending it back for review, they still denied the refund and essentially concluded that the customer must have caused the damage.
For clarity, the package was not opened with a sharp object. The item was damaged when I removed it from the packaging. If anything, it seems far more likely the garment was damaged during shipping or prior to being sent out. Regardless, it’s incredibly frustrating to be blamed for receiving a defective product.
What’s most disappointing is the way this was handled. Instead of standing behind their product or trying to make the situation right, the burden was placed entirely on the customer after I had already spent time going back and forth with their support team.
Customer service is where brands have the opportunity to build trust, and unfortunately this experience did the opposite. If you happen to receive a damaged item, be prepared that you may be stuck with it.
I won’t be purchasing from this company again and would encourage others to think twice before ordering.
