Ordered the book “Model ship Building - Complite beginners guide - book version” on 04.04.2026 for €48 + shipping €19 from Modelerscentral.com. Paid the amount when ordering by credit card. Received an order confirmation of the purchase. After some time I inquire about the delivery and receive an email from “Simon” that I should have received the book. After countless reminders and no reactions, I receive a charge for import duties from PostNord on 21.04.2026 which I pay. I then receive on 24.04.2026 an envelope with a USB stick in it, - without any description, documentation or the like. For security reasons, I do not want to put the USB stick in my computer and again about the reason for the USB and not a book as ordered. I have now tried repeatedly to get an answer, but in vain. I last contacted them on 24.04.2026 for an explanation and a possible cancellation and return of the USB stick. I still haven't heard anything as of 04.05.2026.
UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT MY MONEY HAS BEEN LOST AND THAT MODELERSCENTRAL.COM IS A SCAM COMPANY THAT I WOULD ADVISE NOT TO USE.
